Second time here, decided to take my father as a 60th birthday gift. The food, as always was very good, well cooked and well presented. The service however was less than ideal, we had 2 plates cleared from the table and waited just over 10 minutes for the remaining 2 plates to be cleared. The table next to us sat quietly, and patiently and expressed to us they felt a little ignored as their desert was forgotten. We chose to have no deserts and no further drinks, although 2 of us would have wanted another drink. All in all, a lovely place, and previously really enjoyed it - but as somebody who happily tips 30%-50% for great service, tonight was not what i expected when it comes to service. Will i be rushing back in a hurry? Unfortunately no.

Beautiful bar and restaurant. Sadly ruined by abrupt management who simply can't take criticism or disapproval. Staff could do with customer service training to help manage any problems themselves, As management is extremely defensive and rude for seemingly small things. Customers should be allowed there own opinions without feeling victimised or under scrutiny. It seems they also have "favourite people" that take president over customers who are waiting. Disgusting treatment of new customers, we would recommend eating else where.

Beautiful place, food was exceptional and staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Can't wait to come spend a lovely afternoon in the beautiful garden soon. Thank you guy's for a lovely lunch

Enjoyed my dinner the other night very much. I've only ever eaten or had a drink on a few occasions but it was the first time I've eaten in the main seating area. The other times were down in the function room which is great for private parties.

We spent a very enjoyable lunch in the garden area which was lovely our meals were exceptional the staff very attentive and cant wait to return thank you all so much for making us feel very special and at Home in your delightful restaurant and top notch pink champagne the best xx

We had such a blast on Christmas eve. The service was slow-ish due to the chaos. The food was great and the atmosphere was amazing. Booking communication was easy and frequent.

My most favourite restaurant in the world. Food is amazing, seasonal and fine dining quality with a warm family relaxed atmosphere and a sense of fun and humour. Always an amazing warm welcome - how the staff genuinely remember us I have no clue! Must of been a memorable wedding proposal haha. All my friends love this restaurant and crave going! Only feedback tonight is we wanted to leave a tip but didn’t bring cash as we rarely use it now, sadly the card machine didn’t give us the option to include a tip!

We visited for the second time today (having previously gone there in the Autumn last year) and once again we had a lovely warm welcome and great food!

Visited with family. A brilliant little place with fantastic food and great service. Paid for parking nearby and centrally located in the town of Arundel. The only issue is the toilets in the lower ground floor, they are difficult to get to if you are a child or elderly

Excellent. We ate there last night to celebrate our wedding anniversary and everything was perfect. The food was amazing and the staff lovely. Can't wait to go back.

Love Butler's. Beautiful interior, good food, albeit, a little pricy, but always cooked well & beautifully presented. Lovely friendly staff with good sense of humour & always willing to help wherever they can. We will definitely be back again.

My husband and I had friends coming from The New Forest and because I’d been to Butlers before and loved it so much I booked for Sunday lunch, it was amazing, my friend who is really fussy actually thought it was the best Sunday roast she’d ever had eating out!. My husband has booked to take our daughter there next week too. Georgie was very attentive as were the rest of the staff. The ambiance of Butler’s is lovely

We celebrated a family members birthday here the staff are very friendly, we were served by Georgi & Eva and they were both so lovely.The atmosphere is very welcoming,the restaurant is beautifully decorated & the food is exceptional. Once we had finished in the restaurant we then went out to the terrace for a more drinks. We will definetly book to go again.

Lovely family run restaurant, set in the heart of Arundel. The atmosphere is always warm and cosy, service excellent and the food and drink of a consistently high standard. There is a small bar/seating area at the front of the restaurant if you fancy a drink before your meal. They keep the menu interesting. We had the two course set lunch, which is good value. They also have an excellent choice of well priced wines by the glass/bottle to match. Our servers were friendly, polite and good humoured, which made the experience even more pleasurable. Just bear in mind that stairs to the basement toilet are steep, but not a problem for most. In my option, one of the best restaurants around.

Absolutely lovely. Service excellent,catered for my wife's serious allergy problem . No problem. We went mid day as visitors to Arundel. This restaurant is worth seeking out. Food that good that we all 4 had 3 courses and drinks.

Always a great experience here and everything is fresh and made to order. A Great atmosphere always and food is always hot and served with not to long between courses giving just the right time. Regularly use here and would recommend to anyone looking to eat out in Arundel.

What can I say…Butlers is incredible. If you are local or visiting please try this beautiful restaurant. The food is impeccable and the staff are so friendly, welcoming and very attentive. The Sunday roast dinners are to die for and have so much flavour! The decor is utterly stunning and if I could, I would be eating here every weekend.

Evening of a very wet 🌧️☔November 16th. Pre booked for a table at 7.. warmly greeted with a friendly smile from Sasha & her team👍.. As referenced by an earlier guest, everything about Butlers is of a high standard, e.g. the discreet service, presentation of the food, quality of the food etc. It was also good to observe that Butlers has a loyal clientele. The 3 of us are back on December 3rd for a 60th Soirée in their function room ( with courtyard 😊👍)...we already know that we will be afforded a warm welcome & good food..😊👍..

Well what can I say? A lot actually. Visited on a Friday eve for my birthday and was blown away by the service and the food. Asian BBQ pork and the Marinated chicken was prepared to perfection and made for a very filling starter and main course. Others in my party had vegatarian options and two servings of scallops (dish of the day) followed by the cod. All meals were well received. Throw in a bottle of wine and the perfect night was had. Didn't have enough room to fit one of the delectable sounding deserts but the complimentary dessert I received for my birthday was nicer than I had expected. 9/10 would recommend.

We had the pleasure of visiting Butlers to celebrate a birthday. All of us agreed that the experience and food could not have been better.

Had a lovely 3 course meal here. The food was very tasty, well presented and the setting really nice, would definitely recommend.
