A great family friendly pub with a pool table, live sports on tv, beer garden, a good choice of food at a fare price and they do a lovely Stella too. The kids menu is a hit for our boys with our eldest loving there curry and rainbow rice 👌 Staff can vary but most are helpful 🥂 The lunch i had today with my 2 boys was excellent , good food, good waiting times, pleasant staff and a chilled atmosphere. Great job 👏

Unfortunately not very family friendly... We waited 1h20 to get our food..had to ask to get at least our kids food as they were starving (1 and 3 y/o) but no it came one hour and 20 minutes later... cold ! The whole food came cold, chips undercooked, burger patties were burnt as the bacon, tomatoes were hard rock and onion rings raw... nothing good enough after waiting that long and we were so hungry we didn't want to complain and take the risk to wait again so we kept eating even though we were terribly unhappy!!!! They didn't offer us anything to help our kids to stay calm, just to go across the road to Tesco to buy coloring books because they were running out of pencils ...!!!! No baby changing facilities too. Very disappointed by our experience there and will definitely not recommend the place.

It is a good pub, with good food. Nice theat there is a pool table and a dart board as they can be hard to find these days. I go here often, the food would get a higher mark but quite often something is missing, this time it was half the ingredients in the salad ☹️, other than that the food is very nice.

Brilliant atmosphere and great food. Good value for money. Food was quick and hot and hit all the right spots. Staff really friendly and welcoming. A must visit.

Has really gone down hill in recent years. We had to wait 50 minutes for a wrap and chips, and fajitas, when it wasn’t busy at all. No apologies for the wait whatsoever. Staff were rude. Really disappointed cause I used to love it here. Also the price has really gone up and I don’t think the overall experience reflects the new price.

Food was good…the steaks were done to everyone’s liking and the prices were reasonable. The staff were friendly and efficient, particularly the lady who was running the bar. At one point there was a noisy fight which broke out suddenly between two families next to us. The staff managed the situation impeccably and professionally and made a point of apologising to each table in person, and ensured that everybody’s night could continue.

We booked a table in advance and walked over to this place early one Saturday afternoon. We were given a table close to a kiddies play machine. Wonderful. I went to order the drinks at the bar and we ordered our food at the table. I went for the large plate of scampi and chips washed down with a chilled draft pint of Johns Smiths bitter. The prices here are all very reasonable. Even though it was a Saturday evening the pub wasn't that full. But the atmosphere was ruined a bit by a number of loud, unruly kids who ran about all over the pub. I have no idea why parents don't look after their children better in such places. And the friendly staff didn't seem to think that this was a problem. Oh well...
