Third time we've been to a concert here. They're very organized. No long lines for beverages and lots of portapotties. Also, a large separate area for handicap. Sound was also good. I wouldn't hesitate going to see another concert here!

Great venue. Sound was good. Beers aren't too expensive and water is cheap. At the summer stage the restrooms are port-a-potties so be aware if you prefer a restroom inside. Plan to spend a little time finding parking (unless you want to go to the $50 a day lots). Regular parking is $3 on the street. There is an app you can use to pay or if you prefer, there is a machine that takes credit cards at the end of each block (make sure to tale note of your zone number and license plate number).

I’ve been to the Stone Pony Summerstage many times over the years / decades. It is definitely one of my favorite venues to see a summer show. Usually because it’s a band I like a lot and the energy is always insane. I’ve seen Dark Star Orchestra, Rise Against, Deftones, Ween and other bands there and all have been stellar experiences. Even when I saw Deftones just this weekend in the rain we had a blast!! They have food, multiple bars, plenty of port-o-potty’s and the sound is really good. It’s totally general admission. Between bands / sets you can shuffle up close if you’d like. Parking could be a little rough in Asbury even though there are lots nearby they can fill up. This is in the middle of one of the most popular Jersey Shore towns in recent years right across from the beach. So Uber or train it if you can. If you don’t want to go inside you can stand right outside and hear the show totally fine. There’s also a bar across the street you can go up and watch from their outdoor rooftop bar. There’s a grassy strip on one side of the Pony you can even set up lawn chairs etc. The cops or security don’t bother anyone but have enough presence you feel safe. Have fun!!

Great outdoor venue to catch a concert. So close to the great Asbury Park back and boardwalk: what could be better? There are multiple bars and food counters featuring BubbaCoo's and Windmill eats.

Great venue and easy location to navigate to. Sound and logistics are always on point. Have been here to see at least 15 shows now. Always look for talented acts to lure me back. Love Asbury, it's always such a good time. Security was easy, share was hard to come by on my last visit. The stage faces east, so you're looking west into setting sun for first half of most shows. Bring a hat or sunglasses or both depending on the forecast, and enjoy!!!!

Great spot to see a show outdoors. Parking is a pain after the lots fill up, so be prepared to walk. Deftones rule

Great venue. The Summer Stage is where the big party is. Ticket prices went up by a lot though.

Was there to see Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats - had a great time. Everyone was super cool. Sound was great, stage design/lighting was awesome, drinks were reasonable. I'd definitely go back for another show.

This is my absolute favorite venue! It's relatively small and intimate but they welcome some really well known artists! Love that I only live 20 minutes away. Great local bar and venue. It's outside right next to the Asbury boardwalk, which usually provides a beautiful sunset and a nice breeze. It's really a great place to see a show. It's a square with the stage on one side and the other 3 sides are lined with drink bars. They seem to have stepped up their offerings this past year as they brought Bubbakoos outside and there was a food truck as well. Merch stands are easy to find near food toward the back. Love the Pony and the summer stage and will forever continue coming back đź–¤

I’ve always wanted to go to Stone Pony. We got tickets to See Larkin Poe for our daughter to join us for a concert in the outdoor venue. Indigo Girls was also playing after Larkin Poe. We got to Asbury Park early and walked the boardwalk and beach. We had a great dinner at Tim McLoone's Supper Club on the boardwalk. The line was long to get in but moved fast. They seem to have a good system in place. Someone proof everyone far back on the line. Men are searched by men and women by women. Bags are checked but it didn’t slow anything down. At the entrance someone checks your paperless tickets which was also efficient. Once inside we walked around and went to the indoor venue and a band called Well Wish was playing. We enjoyed the band and would love to see them again. They ended at 6:30 just in time to get outside when Larkin Poe got on stage. Bathrooms were easy to find. Rows of porta potties were in the back of the venue but also real bathrooms were in the indoor venue. Bars were set up along one side and band merch was being sold in the back. Drink prices seem very fair. Overall, Stone Pony lived up to everything I’ve heard about it. I can’t wait to get back again for another concert.

I don't have a lot to say bad about this venue. I just really wish they had more variety of food stands. Also more drink options and some detailed drink selections. Other than that, we had a fantastic time. That live Incubus concert was the best thing I've ever experienced in my life!

Came here from NYC and it was awesome. You can spend time by the beach and get to your show easily. Parking is metered. Staff was easygoing and polite. Security stopped fights before it started. They have plenty of stalls for drinks (water is $3). Plenty portapotties. Sound was clear. Playing: Paris Jackson, Badflower & Incubus!

Awesome outdoor venue with reasonable drink prices and awesome vibes all around. This place is a jersey shore staple. The original stone pony indoor venue is a classic icon/venue and so glad they were able to create an outdoor venue. The sound quality was great and the band lineups are pretty good too! Very easy to get to with very easy parking. So nice to have a backyard venue near my home!

Great outdoor venue by the beach. Holds about 3k with plenty of bathrooms, bars and food. Security, management and guest services were all very professional, kind and helpful. One of the best managed live events I’ve been to in my lifetime. Incubus was amazing.

Me and my friends went to the Stone Pony Summer Stage for the first time on September 30th, to go see Dance Gavin Dance on there Jackpot Juicer Tour. We trekked down from Albany NY to Asbury Park NJ, and when we got to the venue I was very impressed. We arrived at the venue around 2:30 for a 5:30 doors and 6:30 show. So we decided to take the extra time and walk around. The beach and ocean is no lie maybe a 2 minute walk (literally across the street from the venue), with a boardwalk and many touristy things to go (mini golf, arcades, many food places, and more). Not only is the Stone Pony the only venue nearby, Asbury Park Lanes and The Paramount Theater are two other venues within eyesight of The Stone Pony, so many choices for music venues when you come to Asbury Park NJ! The venue staff were great and friendly, especially security. The layout of the venue was easy to navigate, an outside stage with a couple drink stations and a indoor merch booth. Overall our experience was awesome, the only thing I would recommend for us to do next time is 1: come back in the summer when it’s warmer outside and 2: make it a week or weekend trip. With many hotels in the area and many other things and places to go to, you can easily make this a weekend trip! We will be coming back whenever we can!

Crowded, but what concert isn’t? Summer stage is awesome, the stage is low and fences are close, you can almost touch the stage. Always a good time. 💕💕

This place is so much fun! Tickets are affordable. Been there for summer stage and in the winter. Nice staff and always had a nice crowd. Very efficient with getting us in, even when the line looked long. Thank you for some good old fashioned fun time!

Nothing better than coming to a show at the Stone Pony Summer Stage. Beach vibes all day and hit the show afterwards. Fun town, great iconic venue! I try to make at least once a year as it is a couple hours away from me. Always worth it!!!

Billy Strings was awesome. It was crowded. They basically have you in a cage in front of the stage. The overlooking hotels made me a bit nervous though. Those who remember recent history will understand that reference.

Mixed review mostly positive. The main positive is that the venue is large with plenty of bars all around. Also, mixed drinks are only SIX DOLLARS which is the cheapest for any concert venue I’ve ever been to. The only downfall I experienced was the bathrooms. They’re small and in a permanent trailer. Other than that, I had a great time there!

By far, the worst venue I've ever been to! Packed in like sardines! Zero room to wiggle at all, let alone dance. Unless you are 8 foot tall, you can't see the stage at all! I took these pictures by reaching as far up as I could. NOT EVEN A SCREEN! To see them. Everyone on the outside with lawn chairs had a way better time. The sound was even better outside the caged parking lot venue! I put up my incubus tickets for sale in the venue! I'll NEVER EVER BE BACK!

I recently attended the Stick Figure reggae concert at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ, and it was an absolutely incredible experience. The band's performance was nothing short of amazing, bringing so much joy and positive energy to everyone in the audience. The rhythm throughout the concert was simply fantastic, keeping everyone engaged and dancing all night long. The melodic songs played by Stick Figure were a true delight to the ears. Each song seemed like a masterpiece, beautifully crafted and delivered with passion. The combination of catchy melodies and meaningful lyrics created an immersive and uplifting atmosphere that resonated with the crowd. One of the highlights of the concert was the mind-blowing guitar solos. The band's lead guitarist showcased exceptional talent and skill, leaving the audience in awe with every intricate note. The guitar solos added an extra layer of excitement and showcased the band's musical prowess. Overall, Stick Figure delivered an unforgettable performance that exceeded all expectations. Their reggae music was a perfect blend of positivity, talent, and sheer enjoyment. It was a night filled with infectious energy and memorable moments. I highly recommend experiencing a Stick Figure concert at the Stone Pony or any other venue if you get the chance—it's an experience that will leave you uplifted and wanting more.

I always have the same complaint, too many people squeezed into a small (ish) piece of flat land. Always a challenge to catch a glimpse of performers due to all the tall people standing upfront. Sound is consistently good. If you don't need to see the show you can always set up your beach chair across the road and hear everything for free.

I loved this venue! There were several spots to grab a drink so there weren't long lines. Tons of porta potties. There are food and coffee options also! We got lucky with good weather and parking right outside!

Was great venue. Love the addition of Windmill food stand and was wonderful to not have High School age kids there. Listening to Ziggy sing his fathers songs.. priceless!

Very cool place. Staff was great. Too old to stand all that time though. Next time I'll bring my lawn chair sit in the grass by the parking lot you could still see the stage in certain spots but you can hear the music and set. Sitting's quite important when you have body issues. But I didn't think the price of beverages was that bad, price of food wasn't that bad, I would go back maybe sit outside but I would go back.

THERE IS NO PLACE BETTER I THE WORLD TO SEE A CONCERT!!!! THAN THE PONY SUMMER STAGE!!! All tickets are general admission, so there is literally no bad place to stand. It's only good and awesome!! I have so many great memories because of this place. CHECK IT OUT, YOU WON'T BE SORRY!

My daughter and I saw The Offspring on the summer stage. What an amazing show! Loved the venue! Will definitely go back to see more shows. Easier to get to and parking was safe.
