Great brunch spot! Everything we ordered was amazing and the service was good too. The biscuits are big and tender. I often crave the pimento cheese grits. The pimento cheese is some of the best I have ever had. Their jams and jellies are also very good. I loved the peach rosemary enough to take a jar home and need to come back again for more. This was a great place to fuel up before a day of hiking.

The food was amazing and the service was great. The biscuits were huge and homemade. Loved that they had fried bologna and homemade jellies. Must recommend for a great breakfast and fast service. We went back multiple times for a great start to the day.

Biscuit Head was the start of the Foodie road trip my girlfriend and I took today around the Asheville area. She had the Country ham biscuit sandwich...and of course myself, the Filthy Animal biscuit sandwich. What else can I say.. Fried chicken, perfectly crisped bacon, pimento cheese, the country gravy, and oh yeah, a biscuit the size of your plate.... Drop the mic 🎙️ Oh, and the chocolate milk; Pretty sure it's just Hershey's syrup, but as we all learned when we were kids, there's a science to combining the exact, perfect amount of syrup to milk ratio. Great start to the day, and I feel I should mention as well that the service was super quick, when time is essential.

Casual and laid back breakfast place. Really great atmosphere. I come here EVERY time I visit Asheville for breakfast to try a new biscuit. This place can get slammed on the weekends so either come early or expect a wait. The food is worth waiting for. They make all their own jellies to accompany the biscuits as well. From sweet to spicy to herbal it's a wonderful addition to add new flavors to any of the biscuit plates.

You gotta love biscuits if you want to eat here.😄 Literally everything on the menu has a biscuit in it with the exception of a few sides. Love that they offer vegan biscuits and a few vegan gravy options. The sweet potato coconut gravy was delicious! And servings are big....you won't leave hungry. Our party of four each had something different and none of us were disappointed. Two of our party eat here with some frequency. Be prepared to stand in a long line depending on the time of day. We did well having arrived a little after 9 am however, having finished eating around 10 the line was forming outside. Order and pay first before being seated. Server will bring food to your table which was really quick given how busy they were. Remember to remove your dishes to designated areas after eating. Friendly staff. Atmosphere is loud and crowded with extra seating outside in the back. Don't let this deter you as the food makes up for it. Also, parking is available in back.

OMG!!! The biscuits were delicious. The food is really good, definitely worth it waiting in line. On the picture is The Filthy Animal biscuit 😋. Their “jam bar” is super cool too, definitely recommend the peach + rosemary 🤤

I was staying in west Asheville and my mom recommended Biscuit Head to me, so I decided to stop in. I got the biscuit french toast and it was amazing! The outside of the toast pieces were crispy, while the inside was fluffy and soft. I also got the lavender honey latte. I'm always wary of lavender coffee because sometimes the floral flavor is way too strong or doesn't pair well with the beans, but the one here was well balanced and delicious. The prices were pretty good for a restaurant like this.

Looking for budget brunch? Look here. This one was a fantastic stop after a stroll the rough the farmers market! The biscuits are awesome and they offer a plethora of awesome homemade jams and butters! The 🔑 not pictured - get a side of the gravy base and douse anything and everything in it. It’s creamy and spiced to perfection. Perfect for any protein! This storefront is a little crowded and you may wait in line for a while, but I guarantee it’s worth it!

We stopped by here on our way home from Bryson city- we were overwhelmed with how busy it was to begin with but realized that there was an amazing flow. When we first walked in there were no seats available, after we ordered the seats rotated and we got a seat! The food was quickly served and was amazinggggg!!!! We will come here every single time we go through Asheville!

An incredible breakfast! "The Filthy Animal" was delicious, and I loved the pimento cheese grits. The place was BUSY, but the wait to order and get a table was totally worth. Efficient and friendly staff.

If this was near my home you'd see me there - a lot ! A welcoming, fun & funky local place that has great coffee & tea you can sip while eating the most delicious biscuit breakfast you can imagine. My Friend Bologna Benedict biscuit was topped with a perfect poached egg. Yum

Go right now! Seriously some of the best brunch I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is great. Coffee is delicious. The line out the door moved quickly, and somehow there was always an open table for the next to be seated. We were served very quickly after sitting down. It was so good we went back for the second morning of our long weekend trip. Favorite meal of the weekend!

LOVE the atmosphere. They have a little kitty that hangs out outside that is super friendly and loves pets, the mural on the side of the building to all the cat themed artwork inside is the cutest! Their iced coffee was GREAT the biscuit was really good but the chicken inside wasn't all that great. I'm sure the other items are really good. Definitely recommend coming here if you are a huge cat lover like me and want a quick bite.

The pulled pork with pimento cheese biscuit and a must. Honestly that’s all you need to order! Would rate it as 9/10. We don’t recommend the chicken one because it was hard and dry. Their homemade jellies help though. They have multiple options and they are yummy. I ordered the natural latte and it was ok. I feel like prices are very affordable. Apparently it gets super pack but we got lucky and we’re able to get a table and served right away.

Visiting from out of town, this place has an amazing variety of food. my little brother is a local and suggested we go there before 10 a.m., reason being if you get there after it's going to be a line out the door. the biscuits are huge, and the homemade jam is very tasty! they have some really cool artwork on the walls, and the back area is for our door dining! The place is clean, staff is super nice and helpful, and the overall eating experience is great! A must place to eat while in town. I got the lavender type tea and it was SO GOOD! prices are great for how much food you get!!!

What to say that hasn’t been said about Biscuit Head? An incredible spot for locals & visitors alike! So many options, vegetarian & vegan friendly; a delightful jam-bar, a coffee-bar, full-service espresso bar, & the most friendly employees anywhere! I always get a sake Bloody Mary, & my partner gets the megamosa. Some charming outdoor seating in the back, as well. Best part? The restaurant is wheelchair accessible & had gender-neutral washrooms! With prices this low, portions this large, & employees this welcoming, it’s a destination not to be missed!

The Food and staff were amazing at biscuit head. I really enjoyed the Mimosa chicken biscuit and my wife and kids enjoyed everything they had. The jam bar had some creative flavors. I ended up taking some biscuits home and they were still good two days later. I'll definitely stop by again the next time I'm in the area

We are from out of town and wanted to spend the weekend in Asheville to check out some of the local restaurants. Biscuit head was high on the list and did not disappoint. We had the filthy animal. The chicken was crispy yet tender and juicy, the bacon was thick it but a tad overcooked, in my opinion, and the biscuit gravy was delicious! I had the maple bacon latte and was impressed by the flavor. This place will become a go to when ever in town.

It was the best loaded biscuit I have ever had. I am a chef and usually critique every restaurant I go to. I have nothing bad to say. The jam bar is the best idea ever!!! Everything is homemade and divine. They pour love into every single ingredient they use, which is why their food is so amazing.

I had to stop in to try the gluten free biscuits, it's been years since I've been able to enjoy biscuits and these were worth the wait. The eggs and bacon were just okay - not particularly flavorful, but the biscuits and jam bar won me over. The sweet potato jam was my favorite one.

Great spot! I hear it’s pretty busy but we went for a brunch Friday at noon and we caught it pretty empty. Got a delicious hot chocolate, great fresh squeezed orange juice, and fantastic fluffy biscuits. County ham biscuit and the Elvis Biscuit with banana, bacon and Nutella. Surprisingly delicious combination! And definitely suggest the loaded home fries.

Warm fluffy biscuits with a selection of jam from the jam bar is a favorite on cold Fall morning in Asheville. The place is full but lines move fast and service is prompt.

Wow!!!! The food was excellent, the coffee was great. Everything tastes like people cared about making it. The pimento cheese grits were creamy and flavorful. The country ham was perfection.

Neat place. Line moves quickly. Loved the jellie/butter bar- homemade daily. The temp of the food was lukewarm and I just like my food piping hot whe served but food tasted good.

Amazing food! Love the veggie/vegan options! The biscuits were absolutely delicious. Service was fantastic. A little bit of a long line but it moved quickly.

We had heard so many good things about this restaurant so we figured we would take the 1 1/2 hr drive there. We knew there would be a line out the door waiting to get in, all the reviews had stated that. We waited a little over an hour to be able to order but the wait wasn't that bad since it was such a pretty day outside. I loved the cat decor, there was even a cat mural painted on the building. The biscuits are pretty big but they are considerably dry. There were 3 in our group. We each chose the "full breakfast." I got fried eggs, a biscuit, bacon and pork sausage gravy. My husband got fried eggs, a biscuit, fried green tomatoes and pork sausage gravy. The gravy was unlike any we had ever tried before. It was spicy, like it was made with red peppers possibly. The sausage didn't taste like pork sausage, it was burnt and tasted sweet. The sausage and gravy were a big miss for us. Also my husband said the fried green tomatoes had too much batter on them, he couldn't really taste the tomatoes for that reason.

Great value! Delicious buttery biscuits. Crisp fried chicken thighs. Tender pulled pork. Luscious sausage gravy. The most creative jams and butters I’ve ever seen!

I came across Biscuit Head as I was searching for something local before we went to the Biltmore Estate. It was so worth it! Eclectic atmosphere, great food, portion size just right, fruit was fresh and good! Orange juice fresh squeezed! All the locals said get there early because they get full fast. We really enjoyed it. I even bought a mug. Indianapolis, iN

This breakfast place lives up to the hype. They serve huge biscuits open faced and topped with a large selection of combinations. I enjoyed the biscuit with fried green tomato, fried egg, and Brie and my husband enjoyed the “Filthy Animal” with fried chicken, pimento cheese, and gravy. We arrived at 9:00 on a Sunday morning and the line was to the door but moved quickly. Order at the counter, fix your own drinks, find a table, and the food is brought to you.

What a joy it was to have breakfast at Biscuit Head. The biscuits that come with most of their meals are rather large and have a stellar texture. The line will likely be long, but don't worry. It moves fairly quickly. Don't forget to check out the jam bar in the back. There's quite an assortment of jams/jellies for varying palates. If you are a lover of felines, this would also be a good spot for you. There are a plethora of cat-themed artworks adorning the walls. Pricing is actually relatively cheap for the type of joint Biscuit Head portrays itself to be, and the portions are hearty. If you're in the Asheville area, I'd definitely recommend this place for breakfast at least once while you're here. Well done.

The breakfast was completely worth the wait! Biscuit and grits blew me away. There was also a variety of different sauces to try out with the food but make sure to not waste any of them if you choose to use.

When in Ashville NC this place is a must ! There is a line but it moves fast, homemade hot sauces and jams u can purchase as well.you will leave full. Me and my wife meet the owner real down to earth person .go for the filthy Animal YOU WILL See it on the menu.

2 out of the 3 sandwiches ordered were below par. The original egg and cheese biscuit had no flavor and was very dry. American cheese was not melty but hard and gave no moisture to the sandwich. The side he chose was the bacon of the day. Unfortunately the chocolate berry was too sweet and didn't complement the food. The 2 Mimosa Fried Chicken sandwiches we ordered were extremely disappointing. The chicken patty on both were so dry and the chicken meat was fried so much it was like fried jerky. We've had better biscuits and the spicy slaw was sweet not spicy. Then they add a jam on top which also made it sweet. :P The only hit was the Filthy Animal which was drenched in a creamy pimento sauce. The egg, bacon, and chicken was a lot of protein with the sauce balancing it all out. Cappuccino was also pretty bitter.

The cathead biscuits are awesome. But OMG the orange juice! It's like a glass of cuties punched you in the face. The biscuits, eggs, baloney and bacon delicious. The sausage gravy was sweet. Gravy should never be sweet. Well except chocolate gravy. I already mentioned the juice.. oh the juice. Fresh squeezed juice... juice... Pros: Good food, cool location, outdoor seating, the delicious oh so delicious juice, good coffee Cons: Limited seating, you have to pay for parking, sweet gravy... 😕

We were lucky to come here on a semi busy Friday morning without a long wait. My friend really enjoyed her food while I was a little underwhelmed. I personally didn't care for the texture of the biscuits but the mimosa chicken was tasty. I'd definitely come back again on my next visit to try something else. We tried coming back Sunday around 10 and it was a no go. Line around the building so we moved on haha.

Doing the typical tourist thing we went to a popular local hang out. We were pleasantly surprised with the delicious breakfast. The biscuits are the star. We got the fried green tomato biscuit which had some interesting flavors but one tomato was underdone and one poached egg overdone. The Filthy Animal biscuit was fantastic with classic southern flavors especially the bacon and pimento cheese gravy. Definitely recommend. The Caramel Lattes were great iced or hot. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you visit west Asheville make this a stop.
