Great environment and delicious pizza! Can’t go wrong with this spot. Nice area to sit outside and bring your furry friends with you as well. Good beer selection and the mushroom soup is actually a nice appetizer. Definitely consider splitting your pie into 2 varieties to try out a couple of their fun options!

This is such a cool spot. Many vegetarian and vegan options. Wheelchair accessible too, I saw them seating someone in a wheelchair. It is in downtown Asheville, so parking can be tricky. We got a flight of ciders and the magical mystery tour pizza, which was delicious.

Great spot in downtown for a drink and a pizza. Clean fresh and fun atmosphere with good staff. Plenty to choose from on the menu and good for families. Parking is nearby but not on premises. Group favorites calzones, Kosmic Karma, pretzel bites, cheese bread, and the draft list is great. Cheers!!!

We just went for a first time and absolutely loved it! We had a special on a large pizza and getting a free small one. They were very accommodating, also allowing us to use a gift card that was very old. We were nine people and they were able to seat us outside very quickly on a Sunday afternoon! The waitress was so nice and accommodating. She took several great photos from above of our family. Don’t forget to ask for one :-) you couldn’t have got the great angle above us with just a selfie!

The best Greek salad I have ever had - I will seriously crave this salad. Also the pizza is knockout, super yummy. The crust is crazy tasty and the toppings are so fresh and good. One of my new favorite spots!

This is the orginal mellow mushroom , and you feel an asheville vibe at this place. I work close to here and the service is great , my fave staff member i never get his name bald glasses , goatee hes always got my order ready and is so sweet. He makes me feel appreciated to be a customer of his and that makes us customers feel wonderful as well. Eveeything here is amazing , my fave is the cloud 9 wings xtra crispy and capri salad mmmmmm best lunch everrrr. You guys at mellow mushroom keep making Asheville proud, dishing out healthy options and being a family friendly atmosphere is amazing for the community. We love your food and your service, 10 outta 10 everytime.

Mellow Mushroom is my favorite pizza restaurant. I say that realizing that it's a STRONG statement to make; I know, "you've traveled all over the US, how could this possibly be your favorite?!" Customer service and the consistentcy of their exceptional pizzas; I've NEVER had a Mellow Mushroom pizza that wavered in quality, they've always been the best. I remembered a specific pizza order that had been off-menu for over a dozen years, and I asked if that might be possible to make. After a brief consultation with the Pizzaiolo(s), it was my lucky day. I enjoyed a pint at the bar while my memory was being baked into reality and a short while later it was placed right next to me at the bar. It was absolutely perfect, exactly the way I remembered it and as beautiful as the first time I ever laid my eyes upon it. This was something I didn't know missed quite so much until I had it. Thank you, Mellow Mushroom.

Excellent service, atmosphere, and food. Our group of 14 students and 2 teachers was served courteously and quickly and everything came out perfect.

Nice outdoor patio. Decent pizza. Good drink selection. Staff were average as far as attentiveness and likeability.

This place was good. Atmosphere has such a good, fun vibe. Excellent pizza. Totally worth the 30 minute wait.

Did I eat the food? Yes. Was I in love with it? No. I got the gluten free pizza, and it was middle of the road. Honestly I think I’ve had better frozen pizza. They had the option to put Parmesan and garlic butter on the crust of the other pizzas, but didn’t think to allow it on the gluten free one (they even asked the person who ordered the vegan cheese). Honestly, it may have saved it for me. The atmosphere was fun tho. Also the service and the drinks were very good! the non-gluten free folks seemed to like their food too

We stopped by on a whim. My SIL had never been as shes from Tejas. We ordered a small Buffalo Chicken Pizza with ranch, meatballs, and a caesar small salad. The meatballs were amazing. I loved every moist succulent bite. The pizza crust was buttery and airy with a garlic taste. She likes spice, so we drizzled Texas Pete and honey over it. It was delicious. Such a great bite and good customer service.

The first time we came to Asheville we stumbled upon the Mellow mushroom and we loved their pizzas and beer selection that we not only went back multiple times during that trip but we are in town again and it was our first stop. They offer 3 sizes pizza (small 10", medium 14", and large 16"). What's cool is that, if you can't decide between 2 pizzas, you can get half and half! The service is efficient and ,no nonsense while being kind and friendly. It's a pretty big place with seats both indoors and outdoors but the service is fast. Dogs are allowed on the outdoor space and our server even brought a water bowl for our puppy. My favorite is the indoor but the entire place is very quirky and fun. Mellow mushroom is a perfect balance between good food and relaxing chill atmosphere. It is slightly expensive, like the medium pizzas are around 28$, but quite frankly it's worth it for how much food that is, they are not shy in toppings! Parking isn't the best as you have to park on the busy street or a parking garage. Highly recommended!

Good food, nice service, great design. Pizzas were very filling (small would have been plenty for two). Server was great. Lots of interesting decorations to see. This place has character.

We sat outside and even though it was hot out the vines give plenty of shade and shelter from the heat. The food was great as always, I got a burger instead of pizza, and it was very good. The portion of tots was a little lacking

The restaurant is in an eclectic type building that was once a had station from the 1960's. I loved it. The pizza, wings, and salad were delicious abs just what we needed.

When we came in, were told that they were low on servers, so there would be some lag time. Despite that, we were seated and served quicker than expected. The food was excellent. Great pizza. My only issue was the beer menu they presented, was not the beer they actually had. I wanted to create a flight out of 16 beers of which they only had four.

Menu not extravagant but so many delicious choices it is hard to decide. Baked wings appetizer, 4 out 5 bc a little dry. Delicious mushroom soup! Had 2 small (10") pizza, Mighty Meaty full of flavor and Magical Mystery Tour which was very good. We both had the Mello crust which is the thin crust. Incredible craft draft beer selection

Food was great. Salad was on point as well as the pizza. Quick service and great decorations in the resturant. They had a great selection of beers as well as speciality drinks. Great spot in the downtown Asheville area. Truly an amazing location.

What more can you expect from pizza? The crust and base of their pizzas are genuinely fantastic… and combined with a great selection of beers, this place is perfect. We shared a medium Merry Prankster, with the spinach and artichoke dip, and it was all delicious. Our 3 year old happily chomped through the half pretzel with Parmesan. The only downside is we ate so much, we missed out on dessert - the brownie was looking amazing, but we had to miss out. Had the remaining pizza the next day (cold) for lunch, and it was still delish. 2 meals for 1!

First trip to Mellow Mushroom and it did not disappoint on taste! Enjoyed a Vegan Veg Out pizza and Strawberry Lemonade. Crust was crispy and soft inside and the sauce was really good. The service was great too!

Went for dinner to celebrate a 25th birthday. Wait staff could not have been nicer, even bringing out a cookie at the end of the meal to celebrate. We ordered the BBQ Chicken Pizza and the Caesar salad Pizza, and both of them were great. A success story tonight at Mellow Mushroom, Asheville.

The pizza was so good I devoured even THE CRUST. You can tell it's all freshly made today. Iike the 4 draft beers for only $12. I had a delicious lime-lemon aide I would come again.

I 💕💕 you Mellow Mushroom!!! Whenever I find one while traveling I must stop. Haven't been disappointed yet. The best pizza and if you join rewards you get free delicious pretzel bites. Just when you thought they couldn't get any better they surprise you. Keep up the great work 👍❤️.

Another delicious trip to Mellow Mushroom. We've never been to this one before and it did not disappoint. This one had more space inside that the ones I've been to in Blowing Rock and Boone. Lots of cool art and decor was all around. I loved the environment and the staff were great as well.
