I'm a huge foodie - especially when it comes to desserts. Of all the bakeries, chocalatiers, coffee and dessert shops I've been to - Chocolate Lounge absolutely blows them all out of the water. We had to make TWO visits there, and will be back every time we come to town. Each item has been carefully crafted - the flavors and textures painstakingly perfected. The golden milk ice cream, salted caramel & chocolate tart, and salted caramel cake were particularly noteworthy. The cookie wedges were beyond any usual chocolate chip cookie, the texture was absolutely perfect - crispy outside but still retaining that chewy element we all love, with an elevated twist of cacao nibs that just worked so dang well. Do yourself a favor and hit 'directions' on the google listing right now. You won't regret it.

Ready for your weekend dose of chocolate and fix of sugar? You found the right place. Good selection of bakery and confectioner items along with chocolate based beverages. If you don’t mind waiting in queue perfect place for a custom made chocolate beverage or coffee. The chocolate mousse was a hit and so was the mocha latte. The place also has a great selection of chocolate bars, ice creams and cakes to choose from. Outdoor and indoor seating was well spaced. Loved that the stored is evidently all inclusive and welcoming to all.

Chocolate is in the name... need I say more? My husband and I stopped by here after dinner one night. There was a line, but it moved quickly. He ordered the chocolate mousse and I ordered two scoops of ice cream - chocolate and salted caramel. We also bought a box of their chocolates for the road. Everything was great! They have both indoor and outdoor places to sit.

I really like the golden milk ice cream made with turmeric and other spices, I highly recommend it. There are several options if you don't like ice cream, cookies, brownies and small truffle chocolates. There are some drink options as well. The building is on a nice corner spot and has plenty of seating inside and out.

It’s a cute place with very good chocolate and coffee! But it’s not the best I’ve ever had, so I don’t get why so many people wait in a line to get their stuff. The service is slow and some pastries are tough, as if they were a little old.

Had the double peanut butter chocolate and salted caramel cake. Both were very dry. Someone posted that it was literally like bread and butter and this is right. Definitely needed coffee or milk. Luckily they had water to wash it down. Expensive too. We were going to hit up the European bakery but the line was out the door and it was way too cold to wait. I bet their pastries are better but we won’t know as we never got the chance. Maybe next time.

We loved this place so much we stopped in twice. The ice cream was top quality. The Cubanos with cream and smoked salt on top were awesome! They had a huge selection of miniature chocolate truffles, as well as larger dessert slices to choose from. Plenty of lounge space and couches too. Highly recommend.

Peppermint ice cream was great and so was hot chocolate. Took additional desert to go! I appreciated the late hours for us to go after dinner. Servers were nice and polite. Free, self serve cold water, and nice comfortable couches. Thanks again!

Creamy and rich hot chocolate, European style. (Here they call it Liquid Truffle) Absolutely excellent texture and flavor - both milk and dark chocolate. Has indoor and outdoor seating (some tables have an umbrella) and there are plenty of chocolate types and desserts to choose from, including ice cream. You will do yourself a disservice if you don’t visit this establishment.

This is a must visit when in Asheville! Great service and atmosphere and I'm not sure you can go wrong with anything on the menu. We shared the cheesecake, chocolate mousse, and salted caramel brownie.

Came here to try the dessert flight that was listed on the online menu but I was told no one knows about and is not that thing? That hurt my feelings a lot. Was recommended the chocolate crème brûlée by the cashier. It was alright, kinda disappointing by how much they were hyping it up. The other desserts there looked better, maybe I’ll get to try it again in the future

This place is amazing! Very busy on the weekend but worth it. If you love chocolate, tea, or ice cream this is the place to go. I got the liquid truffle and it was the perfect size cup of warm thick chocolate. I also got the triple chocolate mousse. It was heavenly. I'm very impressed.

This Truffle Torte from French Broad Chocolate Lounge in Asheville is definitely worth talking about. It’s a chocolate torte with a cardamom and pistachio chocolate cookie crust with a cinnamon almond whipped cream. So divine!!! And, it’s gluten-free. 🙂 Pair with a hot chocolate to get even more chocolate wasted.

All I can say is yum!! The ice cream was delicious! Dark chocolate & mint double scoop. So good I forgot to take a pic. I devoured it. Bought some boxed chocolates to go. Cool place.

Holy wow! The salted caramel tart was delicious! I didn’t want it to end. And secret tip- go on a week day at 9:30pm and you’ll be less likely to experience a line 😉. We got right in and had great customer service. And the neon sign & stunning wallpaper was the icing on the cake (literally). 😍

So many delicious choices! The espresso chocolate cheesecake is incredible. So yummy! The macaroon brownie and chocolate chip bar cookies are also delicious. The chocolate ice cream and the coffee is also good. Everything we had was amazing.

I think I ate some of everything on the menu and could die happily. The chocolate creme brulee was phenomenal and the vegan peanut butter chocolate cake scrumptious. I stole some of the mousse from someone else I was with and it might have been the highlight. Next time, I am trying some of the sipping chocolate but didn't have the space for it this time. My wife got a latte and enjoyed it for the caffeine junkies.

Wow, best hot chocolate EVER! Why? Because it's amazing high quality chocolate that is NOT very sweet, so if you like sweet, probably ask for a little sugar. They chai also is very authentic, not some liquid junk from a bottle. Did I mention the peanut butter cookie? That's pretty dang tasty too. High marks for this place, especially that amazing hot chocolate.

What an experience! So many chocolate options, if you can't choose don't forget to ask them what they recommend. Between the Chocolate Mousse, Drinking Chocolate, and Chocolate Cake, and Affogato, the drinking chocolate and mousse were our favorites (though everything was good). I'm very tempted to give four stars for only one reason, they forgot one of our items, so we had to go ask for it once and then go ask for it to be fixed once because they forgot something on it 😆. They were very busy though so it was understandable, and WELL worth the wait! Will come again 💯

One of my favorite places I go to when I am in Asheville! I always get the liquid chocolate shot infused with lavender and it is Little piece of Heaven here on earth! If you are a chocolate fan please do not miss checking this place out!! I just bought the chocolate mouse for my mother in law and will see what she thinks!! We need one of these in Florida!🌴🌞🌴

I loved the atmosphere of this cute cafe. Lots of delicious looking treats. I had the chocolate torte and it was absolutely delicious. Also picked up some chocolates and they are very scrumptious! Would definitely recommend to any chocolate lover!
