In
my
lifetime
I
have
stayed
in
many
places
that
were
considered
low
quality,
trashy,
and
not
real
safe.
The
roadway
inn
West
Asheville
beats
all
I've
ever
seen.
My
mom
and
I
got
into
town
real
late
that
night
and
everything
was
booked
except
for
the
roadway.
We've
stayed
there
about
a
year
ago
and
it
wasn't
this
bad.
It
wasn't
good
but
it
wasn't
this
bad.
The
minute
we
opened
the
door
to
room
118
we
should
have
turned
around
got
her
money
back
and
slept
in
the
car.
The
smell
of
mildew
and
mold
was
so
strong
it
would
take
your
breath.
the
beds
look
like
they
had
been
slept
in
there
was
stains
all
up
the
walls
and
mold
on
the
ceilings.
We
went
back
to
the
front
desk
to
let
the
desk
attendant
no
about
this
room
and
it
did
not
seem
too
shock
him.
So
he
puts
us
in
room
117.
The
smell
wasn't
as
bad
in
that
room
and
the
beds
looked
a
little
better
and
we
were
exhausted..
I
did
not
sleep
for
fear
that
someone
was
going
to
come
through
the
window.
This
motel
used
to
have
cockroaches.
I
did
not
see
one
cockroach
all
night.
That's
when
you
know
it's
bad
is
when
the
bugs
are
afraid
to
even
come
in.
Disgusting
is
an
understatement.
I
do
not
suggest
even
walking
in
that
place
without
a
hazmat
suit
and
all
your
shots
up
to
date.
The
drug
users
and
homeless
people
in
the
parking
lot
did
not
scare
me
as
bad
as
what
was
inside
those
rooms.
