I "treat myself" to eating out for lunch once a week. I had been wanting to try Loretta's for a couple of weeks but was waiting until they had their gyro on special. When I ordered I ordered "the special" and was charged $18.31? I never would have ordered if I knew a gyro, some potato chips (that I don't even eat) a pickle, and a sweet tea (that they didn't have to-go lids for so I had to carry and spill while walking) would be that expensive. Almost $20 for a "lunch special" and the food wasn't very great either. Not $18.31worth of lunch, very dissapointed.

The location is great, sandwiched between Broadway and Lexington, with an airy, eclectic interior and decent views out back. 🥪 Service was ok, somewhere between friendly and “I’m marginally busy, you really gonna interrupt me right now?” 🥪 Vegetarian selections are quite plentiful, which I appreciate. The Tempeh Reuben was tasty, served with decent chips and a dill wedge. I’d like to see a transition away from tempeh - a vegetarian protein whose time has come and gone - to any of numerous other better flavored, texturally superior, and more visually appealing options. 🥪 Loretta’s is an Asheville landmark, most def worth a visit. The menu is large and there are daily specials; you’re bound to find something you like.

Good soup. Blt soso. Good bread- cold bacon. Would try something else like a hot sandwhich nxt time.

If you worship the sandwich, this is the place for you!! Super friendly staff & fast service. I had the Italian Stallion and it was fantastic!!! The bread is delicious and toasted to perfection 🤌

I so loved the state and city plate decorations! This place is huge! Theres two dining area floors and two entrances that will either lead you in from the “basement” or the kitchen floor. Had their chicken salas sandwich since that was most popular and what they recommended. Bread was perfectly toasted imo

OMG so good! We got the Carolina burger and the pastrami Reuben.

Good food. Unique drinks. Very messy sandwiches, in a good way. Lots of meat on every sandwich. We tried the cajun blt, Caribbean Cuban, and the big bad wolf. All were very good. Staff was friendly. The outside appearance of the place doesn't look all that inviting but it was very clean and nice inside.

We used Loretta's today for our corporate birthday luncheon. It was delicious! Our sandwiches were fresh and generous! Ordering was easy and delivery for us is a must! We called last minute to order 6 additional sandwiches and they really came through for us! We will definitely use them again!

A groovin' place to kick back and enjoy a good meal for business or pleasure! Super cool vibe!

Very good array of sandwiches and soups. Had the Tuna Salad sandwich and Chicken Noodle soup. Both were great. I should have had the half sandwich and soup. I over ordered. Big sandwich, delicious bread and lots of soup. Very eclectic wall hangings, decorations. Kind of a smorgasbord motif.

Don't tell the other sandwich shops but Loretta's will always be my one true love. Thank you to the amazing staff! Their sandwiches are the width of Dan Brown novels and they're always fantastic!

Great deli. One of my staples when I visit Asheville.

Hearty portions. Cajun BLT was great, chicken salad seemed like chicken and a lot of mayonnaise. Cookies had unique flavors and were delicious. Iced tea was like water. Decor and ambiance are bizarre and off-putting.

HOLY MOLY! As a sandwich fanatic, this met my expectations and beyond. I was super indecisive between here and the Chip Company but I’m so glad I chose Lorretta’s. I got the Chicken Salad Sandwich and unlike most places it was served hot. Probably the best hot sandwich I’ve ever had!! Such a simple lunch meal and yet such a delight. Total mastery of a sandwich.

Large sandwiches with fresh ingredients. We ordered the Cuban, Pastrami Rueben, and Turkey Club and they all were some of the best sandwiches we’ve had.

Met friend for lunch. Very good soups and sandwiches. No sound attenuation so conversation difficult until it started to clear out. Friendly and helpful staff.

Love this place. I come here all the time for lunch during the week. I would love to expose friends and family visiting to the amazing chicken salad. Would love to see you open up for weekend hours.

The food was amazing! If they have it, I would definitely recommend the butternut squash soup! The sandwiches were huge and you definitely get your money's worth of food!
