The attack dog in cosmetics needs her leash tightened. She’s high on power and rude, to boot. She wears a yellow vest; no name tag visible, when I looked. She screamed “HELLO!” at me three or four times, before I realized she was screaming at me. I was exiting the cosmetic bubble (without the bubble bath I was seeking or any other cosmetic products). She felt that was the appropriate way of telling me that if I had cosmetics I had to buy them in cosmetics. I typically don’t get cosmetics from this Walmart, these days, specifically because this woman is so disrespectful. I should’ve known to not even try for the bubble bath there. She had yelled at me the same way a couple of weeks prior when I hadn’t even been IN the cosmetic bubble! I was passing and heard “ma’am, MA,AM!” as I was coming from produce. Turned to see her looking me in the eye, but I turned back around and kept walking to checkout because it didn’t make since for her to need me for any reason. Lady is off her rocker and needs to take it down a notch or ten.

What can I say? Walmart big box store and the waiting game. Went in intending to be a short visit to the air guns. Well, two other folks were already being helped at the counter. I walked over to see the air guns, went around the corner to the fly Fishing gear, then back to the counter. Everyone was gone including the clerk. Here I am looking for some one to help me with air guns and no one around. After a few minutes a clerk heading to another department said she would send the clerk right over. I thanked her. Waited, waited. No clerk. But here comes a guy pushing a loaded stock cart. Israel to ask if he could call some one to help me. When he rudely told me I don't have time to help you, and went on. Man what a attitude??? Followed behind him a clerk said, give me a moment to get you some help. He couldn't help you because he is a personal shopper and is timed! I said thank you. It was nearly 20 minutes later when the clerk for sporting goods came. She said sorry but they needed her at another department. What can I do for you, she asked? I would like to see two air guns and pointed to them. She would only open one of the boxed guns because it was taped closed. The other was stapled and I could only see the cover of the box. The first gun was all plastic, so I could only guess the same for the unopened box. A posted sign said no returns on firearms. I asked if an airgun was a firearm? She said yes. But still would not allow me to see the other gun because it was stapled closed (factory). This made it hard to know which to purchase? I thanked her and went home. Mixed emotions about Walmart's service? I think it was under Par! I ended up buying online from another source that allowed returns. If you were helped by reading my review please select LIKE. May GOD bless you.

Placed an order to be brought to my car. Followed directions and parked in pickup area and called to let them know I was there. There were a few customers ahead of me. Sat there for 20 minutes and no one ahead of me was receiving their orders. Have no idea how long they were there. Went into store and spoke with the manager and canceled the order. Have not been back.

I am rating a worker at customer service. I wanted to shout out Tiffany. I have to purchase gift cards for work every month and she is super helpful and pleasant. I know its a lot but she is so patient every time and i appreciate her assistance.

Big store, but are never stocking shelves. Don't believe it is lack of stock or employees. I will say they are doing online order picking, but nobody to help regular customers. I'm old and shelves are very tall but nobody to help. Online order pickers will not help. But when you spend $300 they sure have someone at the exit to ask you if you paid for the $5 case of bottled water. And I don't think I look like a thief. Why would I buy $300 of products and steal a $5 case of water. It's Humiliating!!!!! Enough Said.

Walmart is the worst and most aggressive store ever. I've never been a fan and never will be. They came in, ran other much better stores out of business, and somehow brainwashed a lot of people to think they were saving money by just walking into their stores. The stores are filthy with mostly rude unhappy people working in them. Most of the employees act like they would rather be anywhere than there and I don't blame them. They and their customers are there making the billionaires who own Walmart richer. Their merchandise is of extremely poor and cheap quality. It's simply a horrible store and company. Their day will come though. Eventually people will tire of them and we'll start seeing stores closing and liquidations much like we saw from their former competitors. They actually deserve 0 stars.

I love my Walmart trips, but this is definitely my least favorite store. It's ok if you just need to run in a grab a specific item ( hopefully it'll be in stock ) but not if you like to browse new it's at your leisure, or take advantage of the clearance isle. This store is hardly ever stocked, much less with any new inventory. However, the staff is nice and the store is clean.

Dear Walmart Shoppers, Do you realize who actually works at Walmart? Kids do. Kids are fulfilling your online orders and helping you through the checkout process at whatever registers are open. If it isn't enough to go to school and navigate being 18-21, these kids also are told to get a job, be productive. Most of them are experiencing their first jobs. Management can only hire kids because the pay is too low and adults think they are entitled to more so they won't work there. How is that management's fault that they only hire kids? When you place your ridiculous online order, whether it's 4 items or 40, think about how that system works. An overloaded internet system sends the order to a kid who has to figure out exactly what products you want, they have to find the exact match and on busy days those items may not be in stock on the shelves. So just as you would not be able to find it yourself, they cannot either. They don't have a magic bag they can just grab your stuff from, they are shopping on the floor just as you would be. Yesterday I witnessed a mob of people screaming at these online shopper kids, one man even threatened physical violence. Are you people insane? If your legs are not broken, go park your car and pick out your own stuff. Now Walmart has even less kids working there today because those kids who were attacked by a mob went home and told their families about what happened. Their families felt like that was an unsafe situation and told their kids not to go back. Which who can blame them? Thanks for those of you who actually take the time to appreciate everything other people do or try to do for you.

Worst experience with online ordering. As an artist finding time to shop can be impossible. I tried placing an online order and could only choose 8pm or 10pm pickup. I chose 8pm but as I arrived at 8pm I got a message that it wasn’t quite done yet. So I went to pick up food and was going to come back after dinner but then I received another message that it was done as I was about to hit the highway. I turned around found the pickup area checked in on the app. Say the sign to call and so I did but received no answer. In fact it took an hour to get anyone on the phone andItowas toldt45 minutes to close so my order wouldn’t be ready until tomorrow. He told me it would be ready first thing in the morning so I arrive at 7:10 am and it is not. At this point I’m about to be late for work and I don’t even know what of my items I will be receiving. The nonchalant of the workers was an added frustration because it was no concern of there’s that their business was behind. Worst service experience in my life; top it off they substituted 13 water cases into my order of just 3. Charged me for it (I didn’t take them) and told me I would have to call to request my refund on the waters. I should have just gone in and shopped, no I should’ve taken my business elsewhere and will do so in the future.

Accused me of stealing a bike that I was buying for my son's bday. Showed my receipt, put the bike in my car, continued shopping and was approached by the same plainclothes security woman but this time she brought a cop and told me she had me on camera not buying the bike. Showed her my receipt AGAIN and had to wait with the cop while she went to verify it! She came back and apologized. Apparently she talked to the cashier that rang me up. This all started with the elderly greeter who was eyeballing me when I was paying for the bike and had notified someone. She stood right there when I showed my receipt the 1st time and ROLLED HER EYES!! Took my business elsewhere and told everyone I know what had happened.

I had a brief opportunity to work 3rd shift here as a contractor. The work was very labor intense and not financially rewarding to continue doing it. I enjoyed the people and appreciate all the help and information the staff and company employees extended to a "contractor"..

Things that I had shopped for online that were in the store were much more expensive, like by 30-40%, just a few items though. That's how I prefer to shop usually. Didn't realize that it tells u online price only in the app until I asked an employee. She was friendly and even showed me on her where to see that info. I found everything I wanted by previously storing my order(before I purchased it in the app) and using the aisle numbers. It went so much faster because I just went straight to it. I enjoyed shopping like that. I went to the self check little cubicles and I successfully moved right along no complications. Definitely user/shopper friendly! It was very busy today, Sunday 10/29/23. I had to search for parking for a bit, but not to bad... All in all it was a good shopping trip

The employees will do everything they can to avoid you. In-store, I've had employees walk away from me or pass me by, acting like I didn't just wave and call to them for help. And every time I reach them on the phone, I'm stuck on the line for ten minutes before I give up. The only thing good about the place are the prices. The customer service is awful.

Great place to shop if they have what you're looking for and you can find it. I spent almost 20 minutes and talked to 5 staff looking for water softener salt pellets and gave up. They have the best prices in Asheville for it, if you can find it...

They have everything you could possibly need. I haven't seen Peter Pan Peanut Butter in forever! Speaking of peanut butter they have Reeses Snack Cakes and I recommend those...get you some. Treat yo self.

While in-store shopping seems adequate, the online order and especially pickup service is completely worthless. Walmart management needs to either discontinue this offering in total defeat or adequately staff it to deliver on what is promised. I realize I should acknowledge that it is Black Friday but I sat in pickup spot for four hours between last night and tonight and still did not get my four item order brought out. Few orders appeared to be coming out the door and at one point when I looked through the door there was no staff in sight. I do not fault those missing employees but rather the management that prevented their success by neglecting this part of the store’s business. I am glad I cancelled the paid membership months ago due to incompetent picking and other pickup/delivery failures. Paying for this mistreatment would be stupider than waiting patiently for hours as I did for nothing.

The greeting guy at the door is the coolest breeder I have ever seen! He makes me not dread going through there. He is always super friendly and knows who you are and will even remember what you talked about last and ask how you've been! And you don't get that much anymore he is a gem! And EVERY1 knows who I'm talking about when I describe him. He's so sweet and ALWAYZZ GIVES 110%

Day 1 and no call from store level about the embarrassment, degrading, mistreatment of a 23 year old woman looking to get 1 tire. The person (won't use the word associate, that would mean they belong working at your store) was mubling under his breath and giving her a hard time about the "trim level" of her car. I will tell you the person at your 1-800-WAL-MART didn't know what that meant either. The person should be helpful, is representative of your store.... he is not. I will see if day 2 gets a call, there are options for this btw the Thanks Tim for stepping in

Bought an item online for curbside pickup (this is my first time doing this). I get the email that it's ready so I head down to Walmart, park in a designated curbside pickup space and check that I'm there and mark which spot I'm in. 20 minutes go by and I see no employees. I call the number on the curbside pickup signs to see if I missed something/check on how long this should take, no answer, goes to voicemail, which is full. Call the regular walmart number and select the option for online order pickups and it just rings with no one answering. I sit there another 15 minutes and try calling several more times before giving up and leaving after 35 minutes of seeing no employees come out, and them not answering the phone, and cars coming and going from the curbside pickup spots and no one ever came out to any of those cars during all that time either...... Why offer a service that you have no means of fulfilling? If there's no one to handle this at least give some notice on the app or have someone to be able to answer a phone. If you value your time at all, DO NOT GO HERE.

This review pertains to the TIRE DEPARTMENT at this Wal-Mart location. We regret that we have to give them any stars at all. Sam Walton would be furious if he were alive. So.... residents and travelers BEWARE. We were traveling and had a tire issue. Needed to replace one tire. So we go to Wal-Mart....they are probably just a professional as the one at home. <eye roll> All Wal-Marts are not equal! The sales person tells us that they don't take appointments, but if we come back early the next morning, they will install the tire then and will have it in stock. Then we can be on our way. Next morning, we arrive promptly at 7:00 am when they open. Different sales person....we tell him why we are there...and this guy tells us that you have to have an appointment and they don't have anything available until later in the day. We tried to reason with him and explain we were from out of town and were there the precious night and were told ...yada yada yada....this man could not have been more unprofessional and completely disinterested in helping us. If they said that we needed an appointment, we would have gotten one. DUH! We reminded him multiple times that we were there because one of their staff actually told us to come in and we would be serviced. Didn't care. And then ignored us. We left, of course. No manager on duty. We went to National Tire and Battery as received the best service, and a much better deal. We even bought TWO TIRES! No, they didn't up-sale us. Name brand tires at a reasonable price. The ones Wal-Mart were pushing were a no-name brand. Good quality Customer Service is a dying art. Few people seem to know just how to treat customers. But National Tire and Battery does. Whohoo!

I recently visited a typical Walmart store, and overall, I found it to be a fairly typical experience. The store was large and well-stocked, with a wide variety of products available for purchase. One thing that stood out to me was the competitive pricing of the products. Walmart is known for its low prices, and I found that many of the items I was looking for were priced well below what I would have expected to pay elsewhere. Additionally, there were a number of different products available, which made it easy to find what I was looking for. On the downside, I did find that the store could be a bit overwhelming at times. With so many products available, it could be difficult to navigate the aisles and find what I was looking for. Additionally, the checkout lines could be quite long, especially during peak hours. Overall, my experience at Walmart was fairly typical. While it may not be the most glamorous shopping experience, it is a reliable and affordable option for those looking for a wide variety of products at a competitive price. While the store can be a bit overwhelming at times, I would still recommend it to those looking for a convenient and affordable shopping option.

Prices are good but checking out takes a long time. Also, it has become an area for becoming a victim of crime or witnessing a crime. The elite is allowing this to go on to eliminate all in store shopping and have only two or three delivery outfits like Amazon. Gangs are walking out with arm loads of goods but workers are being fired for trying to stop them. The world has gone crazy. People soliciting in parking lots and stores closing in poor neighborhoods leaving the people almost helpless. Walmart has been a good store except to many items come from our enemy communist China.

This store has the most beautiful hedges outside along the storefront. Went in for flowers for a friend. Selection was awful and most were limp and dead. Finally found these and hoping they hold up.

Worst experience with a walmart ever. First I tried walmart + to have groceries delivered. They waited until close to delivery time to notify me they had no driver. Contacted customer service. They said it will be here by end of day. Waited then again no groceries. Then made a pick up order. Waiting patiently for it. It too got delayed. I am so done with walmart!

  • 1/5 Lea P. 1 year ago on Google
Delivery orders are consistently delayed with zero communication, substitutions are nonsensical, and paying for Express delivery seems to ensure your order will be returned to the store for no reason (yes, we tip). A store associate is supposed to reach out to reschedule delivery if there are delays, which never happens here.

The Walmart in Asheville on Bleachery boulevard leaves a lot to be desired. I understand that it's not the employee's fault that they're short staffed but you can't get what you go there for because the boxes are in the middle of the aisles unpacked and because they're so close to the shelves you can't even get anything off the shelves because the full boxes are in front of the shelves. If you're not going to empty the boxes don't put them in the aisles. Then there was an extremely rude employee at the entrance the last time I was there. It's not what she said to me, it was the way she said it.

  • 4/5 Benjamin D. 1 year ago on Google
This is unfortunately the best Walmart close to the city. Good amount of parking, easy to get to, lots of self checkouts. Just don't expect to get anything from behind a case door without having to call the store while your in it so someone can be paged to the department you are in. Not unique to this Walmart, but there it is.

  • 3/5 Donna B. 1 year ago on Google
As far as Walmart goes this was a nicer one. The store was pretty much stocked and the staff was (don't faint now) friendly. It's big!! So I got a little turned around but it was worth the stroll.

I was trying on dresses and asking the 2 women working at the fitting rooms how they looked on me. They were so sweet, and the best part, is that they advised a smaller size. Sammy (Samantha) went well above and beyond...I needed a different size and could not find more of that particular dress. She went hunting, and found them. I was ecstatic! Brandy was the other lady that jumped in to help. Please give them a pat on the back and let them know they are greatly appreciated
