Very beautiful park. The beach is clean with the exception of some very interesting pieces of driftwood that was intensionally left for aesthetics. They have a lot of fun playground equipment for the kiddies, picnic tables and a pavilion. They have a short but nice hiking trail surounded by bamboo and a wildlife preserve within the bluffs. It all depends on you but I'd say this beach has a lot of potential to help build lasting memories. I would recommend checking it out even if you only have a couple minutes to spare.

Clean park, free parking, kids had fun on playground equipment, benches and picnic tables available. Boardwalk to water. Pavilion has good variety on menu. Great place to spend the day!

The lake is beautiful. The beach area is nice. It has a playground, volleyball nets and tire swings. I think it has a small concession stand, but we went early so it was not open. We are from the Lake Michigan area, so we had to get used to the beach being rocky, but once you got out into the water it was fine. We had our kids 10 and 12 and they loved it. My picture does not show the large beach area, but it is good sized.

Nice beach, little rocky, but expected as Geneva is the same. They do have lifeguards during Memorial thru labor day. Also a great place to find sea glass.

I'd give it a 5...BUT water quality advisory is often up. It's sad that so many of Lake Erie's beachfront parks have poor water quality. That said, the bathrooms are clean, the garbage is removed fairly often and the views are great. There are no lifeguards on duty so you are swimming at your own risk.

First visit. Not many people but the most birds I've ever seen in my life in one place. Free parking and playground for kids. No lifeguards on duty on Wednesday when we were there.

Nice beach, a short walk to see the Ashtabula lighthouse from a distance.

Pleasant, clean and pretty quiet beach along the Erie shoreline in Ashtabula. Definitely didn't feel crowded when we went on a nice Sunday late morning, and my daughter had a ton of fun in the water. Food at the on site cafe was also quite good, with sandwiches on fresh bread fat superior to standard beach snack bar faire. A relaxing good time overall.

What an awesome place to go! Finished my race here on the beach and it was very clean and a safe place for everyone. There is a large parking lot, picnic area and bathrooms so you won't need to leave for anything. I wish I could have stayed longer to walk the area. If you are in the area take the time to stop down at the lake and check it out and see how clean it is!

Beautiful beach. There’s not as much trash as other beaches and it’s very well kept. I would 100% recommend coming here during the summer months!

Nice park. Boardwalk all the way down the beach which makes access to the beach easy. Lots of birds in the area, but they can be enjoyable to watch.

Okay so first time here and we absolutely loved it. The people we came across were friendly and many locals shared stories. Of course, we searched for the beach glass that washes up. It was a lot of fun and the area was quite beautiful, no trash or debris.

It was a very cold day with strong winds. Those winds made great high waves. Pretty clean beach for being off season. It has two nice roofed pavilions. It say food in Summer but I have not had any here yet. Beach is massive and lots of sand. There a beautiful native plant field, between the beach and parking. Handicapped parking in parking lot. No wheelchair access into sand area at beach. This is close to many nice places to eat within a mile and less. The Historic Ashtabula Harbor is a short walk or drive.

It was beautiful day. Little rough walk on sand but everything else is great. I was hope find color glass stone/rock. But I think it in different area. Lighthouse at different beach is cool too!

The beach is lovely, very clean and picturesque! Our kids loved it. We will definitely be back! Lots of garbage cans which I appreciate. A few tips: - Bring water shoes, the shoreline is rocky - Bring a kids potty, the bathroom is NOT CLEAN - very gross - We didn't see any grills, if you are planning to cook out - There are limited picnic tables, so plan for that

We were looking for a location on the lake that had several benches where we could relax and enjoy the view and water. All we saw was one that young folks had put all of their stuff on. Wished there had been more places to sit because we really had to leave with no where to sit. Otherwise it was clean and pretty.

This is a wonderful public beach that is family friendly. There is a nice wooden walkway to get out to the beach and a fun playground area.

Was my 1st time there looking for beach glass. Very nice. Found some beach glass. Can't wait to go again.

First time visit was a very nice beach clean and had a lot of people. The shoreline is very rocky so suggest water shoes if you have sensitive feet. They had a very nice restroom and a place to rinse your feet. We did find some sea glass but a lot of people were looking. Overall very nice place to get away for a day at the beach.

Nice clean white sandy beach. It is rocky though. Bathrooms are very small.

The beach was a lot nicer 15 years ago. The sand was sand and not mostly rocks. Which hurt by the way! There's trash everywhere. Usually isn't a lifeguard on duty. They wanted us usually nice. Not clean but nice.

Good memories here. I captured some incredible underwater shots of a native Carpsucker or “Quillback” here, using a submersible rov. This section of the Lake is a huge sand flat with massive submerged boulders.

It is a very nice beach has a play area and sand volleyball it has a concession stand has a place where you can rinse your feet off after playing in the sand and the water. Very nice Beach. The only thing I didn't like was all the rocks it had more rocks than breakwater beach. After about 8 ft at breakwater Beach got into the sand but not here at this place. And the waves were not as big as breakwater Beach. But all in all very nice family beach

👍👍 This historic drawbridge operates every half hour. It’s a fun experience to watch it raise for the different boats to cross through the river. 👍👍 Beautiful trail and very well maintained. It's mostly flat and rural, but important to note there are quite a few road crossings. The one in Austinburg was a little tricky to get across being a busy road, but otherwise they're generally quiet roads. As far as scenery is concerned, there's a few brid...
