My flight was canceled and I headed downtown to find something to eat for lunch and came across this wonderful place. It did not disappoint at all. Here are my takeaways. Environment Huge restaurant with plenty of dining space whether you want to sit at the bar, in their main dining area or have views of the street with huge widows for people watching. It's a beautiful space with beautiful art and I loved the art and the designs around the bar. Very welcoming and high energy. Service The service was great and my server was very attentive and nice and gave great menu recommendations. Food and Drinks They have a pretty good lunch special that wasn't expensive (for Aspen) but very filling and tasty. I had a fried chicken taco and two chicken enchiladas that also come with beans and rice. What can i say - the food was really good. I would definitely go back to try other things on the menu that they have to offer. I also got a margarita that was pretty good and very strong. I recommend adding a fruit option to the drink for better flavor. Overall Great place for dining. The food was really good and tasty and the drinks strong for a fairly good price for Aspen. I would definitely visit this place again to try other things they have to offer. Check it out!

Mi Chola is an absolutely beautiful restaurant. Whoever decorated the inside did an outstanding job. We had to kill about 45 minutes, so we stopped in for a drink and chips/salsa. While we didn't have a full meal, we were very impressed with the restaurant, the service, and the overall vibe of the place.

Pretty average Mexican food. The portion size of the tacos were quite comical for $25 but they tasted alright and thankfully had the nachos as an appetizer before which filled us up prior. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup and it was nice. Overall, okay for Mexican food but price wise not aligned with what you are getting.

Everything was so good. Mrs Bozeman didn't care for her beef rib enchilada but then she's never had one so I can't really blame them. I loved my food and all the sauces are made fresh. Atmosphere is amazing.

Popular spot serving great Mexican food in a nicely decorated space. A bit expensive but so is everything in Aspen. Came here around 5pm. They do NOT offer a happy hour (contrary to what some of the other reviews here claim). Ordered cocktails which were good, and a veggie burrito and quesadilla, both which were very tasty. Staff was very efficient but not friendly, service was quick but we felt a bit rushed to order and then wrap up.

Visited Mi Chola first time coming to Aspen from Denver. We had Beef Burrito and Relleno. The quantity offered for the price was a bit low- other than that the atmosphere was great and very ambient.

I have tried Aztec shrip, combo with 2 enchiladas (beef short rib, chicken molé), and pineapple flan. Food was fine, service somewhat below average (rushed and not attentive).

I came here with the wife for dinner and it was delightful. Despite the price, the guacamole was some of the best I have had anywhere. My wife enjoyed the salmon, while I went for the carne asada steak- which was excellent and nicely spicy. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and would recommend to anyone.

Mi Chola is by far the best Mexican restaurant/bar in Aspen. The vibe is great no matter what day of the week it is. The inside is super cute and chic. The owner made a few Mexicans feel right at home. I highly recommend coming here if you’re in Aspen.

The food was very average tasting. I got the street tacos and you get two small tacos with some bland beans and rice for $25. It was pretty expensive for what you get. The service was terrible. It took a while to get an order in. When our food was delivered the waiter never came to check on us or refill our drinks. We had to flag him down to pay. The atmosphere and decor were really unique. The patio and indoor/outdoor seating was nice.

The atmosphere is great! You can dine in or out. The outside has ceiling heaters which really made the late evening dining experience so enjoyable. The food came out very quick too.

A good idea for lunch. This restaurant’s environment is probably its most striking trait for me. The food was good but not overly great. I don’t usually talk about prices, but this was too expensive for its quality and taste. The food was well made, but again, nothing special. We only had one opportunity to try Mexican in Aspen, so I’m not sure if there are any other good options for this cuisine. The bar was well stocked, and passing by at night, we said this restaurant was full. The service was ok; not too much of a personality, but that’s ok when the timing is good and the ordering is as well. Overall, it’s a clean restaurant with ok food. I would recommend a night out while drinking. 6/10
