Highly recommended restaurant !!! A good food Good Ambiance is what it serves. Tried Bombil Fry, Garlic Prawns, Modso Masala Fry, Veg Crispy, Solkadhi. Would like to try Thali there as lot of people there were having the same.

Visited this place after reading the reviews and getting the recommendation from Google. Not disappointed at all and this will be a regular visit when near Vagator for us. It's a beautiful family run restaurant that dishes out beautiful seafood. Alcohol options are limited but are enough. This place has waiting almost all the time so better to call ahead. Parking is also tight.

Love the experience here. One of the best restaurants mainly for sea food. The tandoori dishes are also so flavorful. Something very different from other places. The quality n quantity is very good. This place is little interior from the beaches in North Goa.

I recently visited Vinayak Family Restaurant during my trip to Goa, and it's undoubtedly one of the busiest establishments in the area. On my first attempt, the long queue and over an hour wait time made me postpone my lunch plans, but persistence paid off the next day.Arriving just 10 minutes after they opened, I managed to secure a seat for lunch. The restaurant is a bustling hub, renowned for its wide variety of delectable seafood. The menu offers a splendid array of choices, catering to the diverse preferences of its patrons. What struck me most about Vinayak is the quick and efficient service. Despite the constant flow of customers, the staff remained attentive and ensured a smooth dining experience. The old Goa ambiance adds a unique charm to the place, making it more than just a dining spot – it's a journey into the cultural and culinary heritage of the region.

Quite frankly it could be way better. The waiters attitude can improve. Be more friendly and polite. The waiter couldn't even explain a smallest difference between the different dishes. Also, there are no details about what you would get if you were to order a thali. The food was very very average. Ambiance not great. Prices. Higher that what is deserved. The only thing I liked is good number of prawns in curry. Taste of clams was also very average. Good fish fry.

A wholesome thali experience. 1 Chonak thali, 1 surmai thali, chicken starter. The thali was made up of rice, a local Goan gravy with a few small prawns, a kokum vati drink, kismoor, a vegetable, small clams masala, a fried fish of your choice. The quantity is large and more than adequate for a single individual. It could be rated as medium on the spice scale, however, my spice tolerance is much higher than most. All the ingredients were fresh and had a home cooked feel to it. Beer is a requirement with the thali and I personally recommend ‘People’s ‘ beer ice cold as an amazing accompaniment .

Good place to visit if you're in the mood for the quntessential Goan Thali. Ambience: Pretty simple arrangement, nothing fancy. Service: Average, nothing out of the ordinary again. Food: Pretty good, but I've had better at other places. Bombil restaurant in Panjim has spoiled me, perhaps. However, don't get me wrong. The fish thali was pretty good here too. They also had diet coke - if that's important for you :P If you're close to this place, go try it.

The Thalis are amazing ! Great area for large groups. Be prepared to wait , there are long lines sometimes. There is a parking lot next door which is convenient. The food is phenomenal!
