Beautiful work that depicts the flame that the police have on their hats. Made in the eighties in memory of all the victims of the weapon, and in particular of General Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa, prefect of Palermo, killed by the mafia in that period.

Given its location and what it represents, it should be kept in a better state of conservation. The monument itself is in good condition although it should be cleaned every now and then but the small garden that develops around it would need more attention and maintenance, especially in the vegetative period. This does not go unnoticed, especially by the numerous tourists, who wandering around the Duomo point to the lack of maintenance.

Five stars for what it represents. Monument created in 1980 in honor of the Carabinieri who fell in the performance of their duty. It is located in Piazza Diaz near the Duomo. Work commissioned by General Carlo Alberto dalla Chiesa (later appointed Prefect of Palermo where he was murdered in September 1982). The monument represents the flame present on the cap of the Carabinieri uniform. It cannot be defined as aesthetically successful but as far as I'm concerned, its beauty lies in what it represents; two plaques are visible, one from the military association in memory of all the fallen Carabinieri, the other from the City of Milan in memory of the aforementioned Carlo Alberto dalla Chiesa. New lighting has recently been installed which makes the flame even more visible in a square surrounded by decidedly sad structures.

Beautiful illuminated monument depicting the grenade explosion as depicted as a symbol of the Carabinieri military corps. The Arma dei Carabinieri is one of the Italian police forces, with general competence and in permanent public security service. At the same time it is part of the Italian armed forces (since 2000 with the rank of the armed forces), under the Ministry of Defense, with operational dependence on the Ministry of the Interior. 0 Vittorio Emanuele I of Savoy, at the beginning of the nineteenth century issued the royal law "Regie Patenti" of July 13, 1814 by which the Royal Corps of Carabinieri was founded, with Joseph Thaon of Revel as their first general, On June 25, 1833, with decree of King Carlo Alberto of Savoy, the colors of the plume (red and turquoise) were adopted.

It is a monument to the Carabinieri who have been protecting us from crime of all kinds since 1814: furthermore, we cannot forget that General Dalla Chiesa died in Palermo precisely because of his loyalty to the Italian Republic.

Sculpture from the 1980s by Luciano Minguzzi dedicated to the Carabinieri, their commitment to Italy and the memory of those killed in service. The work, which is inspired by the flame on their cap, is beautiful. Of course they could have dedicated a better square to the monument and to General Armando Diaz

(Translated by Google) I too see this monument every day when I go to work and then I go home, it should be visited more and it is very reminiscent of the symbol that all the members of the Carabinieri have on their caps which this year celebrated the 204th anniversary of its foundation right at the Palazzo del Quirinale with the President of the Republic to thank everyone for their daily commitment against crime, terrorism and malfeasance both inside and outside Italy.

With immense joy, I grant a five-star review for your extraordinary performance, which exhibited an excellence of truly bourgeois character. The experience provided was as refined as it was sumptuous, and every aspect of the interaction was executed with a mastery that lifted my spirit to an aristocratic dimension. I felt like an authentic bourgeois, surrounded by unparalleled luxury. Your dedication to perfection is truly noble.
