The previous reviews DO NOT LIE this is a 2 star facility. Dr. Mahajan-Merritt is by far the WORST obgyn I’ve had. I was on time to my appointment I went to the wrong location (Kingwood) and was not notified that my location would be changed. I made it to the correct location (Atascocita) 8 minutes after my appointment (I wait 15+ minutes after my appointment every time I come to this facility) and they would not see me. The only way to reschedule is through your nurse. My nurse Toya is the only good thing that this facility has to offer, she is very helpful. Yet again I will have to wait 2+ months for a appointment when my doctor knows that I have been bleeding nonstop since December 2021. They do not care about you and the name is sickening “Care for Women.” I do not recommend Care for Women in kingwood or atascocita. Disgusting. Edit: I was rescheduled and then called back to be informed that I was terminated from both facilities after this review was posted. Why? Because I said that my practitioner sucks. And Mahajan-Merritt does indeed suck. I made a appointment the same week at Memorial Herman Medical group (Womens clinic) on West Lake Houston. They fit me in 2 days after I called. 3/24/22 and they were so friendly and caring! I could not recommend them enough. Do not waste your time (and you will wait months for your appointment) at Care for Women they do not care about you.

I had a horrible experience here. You are always rushed in your appointments they are always behind. Let’s not talk about how you can never speak to your Dr. I went with Dr. Adomako and had numerous out of pocket ultrasounds and she never took the time so see them and I ended up having placenta previa. At 7 months she tells me I would be a high risk pregnancy. My baby came at 32 weeks because they never saw that condition so I kept doing regular activities. Her assistant Traci is not friendly at all comes off rude. Honestly I would not recommend this facility or king wood hospital what so ever.

They should actually learn to care for women before naming their clinic that. It is very sad knowing these women doctors don’t care about you just your money. I literally felt like I was being treated like an animal and not a human being. Everything was super fast paced IN and OUT. I think they finish way faster than a fast food chain to be honest. Anyways, I went in for my very first Pap smear so naturally I had some questions about what the procedures are and things like that for Dr. Zavala.. and at the time I was also trying for a baby so I was worried it would cause some issues having the Pap smear done. She laughed at me and made a joke knowing I had no knowledge of a pregnancies and woman care. She did not answer any of the questions I had, she just left the room quick after the Pap and that was it. The blood work lady left me a giant bruise so obviously she was not good at her job either. I will never go to this clinic again even if they are the closest thing to my home. I would give 0 stars.

Walked into the office to make a new patient appointment. Was told they couldn’t make it, I needed to call and was given a card with a highlighted phone number. Called the number, was on hold in a cue for 31 minutes listening to information regarding care the office provided. Finally the call was answered, completed all requested information, was told couldn’t be seen until May, I requested the 2nd appointment to be made , for the BC follow up, was told she couldn’t make appointment for that had to wait until May. Okay fine, continues with making the appointment… she then states that in order to make the appointment I had to place a $25 deposit, okay.. I understand, however I’m at the gym on the treadmill currently and don’t have that information available…. She said I can CALL BACK…. To make the appointment… meaning be on hold for another 31 minutes prior to speaking with someone… No… I’ll find another provider. My suggestion to the this practice would be to have the information regarding your deposit request added to your automated repetitive message so that potential patients can have things needed to make the appointment. A complete waste of 45 minutes of my life.

This was my OBGyn during my 1st pregnancy. My Doctor was a middle eastern or Indian lady that was very attentive. You will be in an out of this clinic they have very fast services. I will say however if you choose Dr. Zavala don’t expect to get attentive care. My other 2 sisters had her as a Dr. and when one of them was in labor she had already been pushing for hours when they realized the baby was breach causing her to have an emergency Csection. How did this doctor not check the fetal position pure negligence. My other sister got her IUD a few years back and has experienced extreme heavy periods and is now bleeding randomly throughout the month years later she brought this up to doctor Zavala and her response was well do you want us to take it out. No concern what so ever. Please if you go here please see another doctor.

Dr. Was very rude only because I was her last appointment for the day! I felt sooo rushed that I couldn’t even ask a question. I have to get lab work done and a ultrasound and they gave me the date that is 4 weeks out and then won’t be able to see the Dr until another 3 weeks, what kind of service is that? This is my health and all I wanted was for the Dr to have at least some sort of sympathy towards my pain but it was really bad service. Would not recommend this place to anyone anymore!

Take it for whatever value it has. Your doctor may care about you but the office staff does not give a f^^k about you. I made my appointment months ago, for tomorrow.. They took my insurance info and told me they take my insurance. Today they call and say they dont take my insurance. I am upset because I am paying for insurance and now I have to pay 200 out of pocket as well, so I tried to ask the lady to spare future clients by checking their insurance. She said no. This was ultimately the clients responsibility. I work for United. Big company in Houston so lots of people with this insurance. She was heartless and cruel in our ten minute conversation even though I acknowledged that their checking in the future would not help me today..

I do not recommended seeing them if you are pregnant. My former OB has left practice and I needed a new OB as I found out I was pregnant. I paid my patient fee and set up my first ob for my 8 week mark. At 5 weeks pregnant, I began experiencing LIFE THREATENING complications. I had to be seen several times in the ER for ectopic pregnancy. Naturally, I attempted to follow up with my new OB sooner to save my life and provide options on doing so. The night doctor “TRACY” spoke with the ER doctor that treated me and provided strict instructions for me to follow up and be seen due to the issues being caused. The front desk would not assist in connecting me to Tracy and Tracy never returned my calls . When I asked the front desk reveiptionist to schedule me an er follow up appointment Trent she kept advising me it is against policy to see the ON as a new patient before 8 weeks. When I advised her that policy would go out the window if I am experiencing a life threatening emergency she declined to receive proper protocol’s for an ectopic pregnancy. I will not do ANY kind of business with an office that does not take their new or existing patients health as a concern. This would have been considered an ER follow up. Each professional OB I have advised this story to that has assisted in this unfortunate circumstance could not believe I was denied care this way. Unacceptable and will be following up on legal action on this situation. Time was of essence when my life was at stake. Thank God another OB took me in and was able to see me in time.

Was excited to have a midwife last year. this place ruined that. she lacked empathy and would make up conversations we never had. my husband witnessed this. what broke the camels back was when i was about 10 weeks pregnant, i was gushing blood. she brushed it off. called me hours later and said well i guess you sounded concerned so come in. i had an ultrasound. they never told me what was wrong, but that baby was healthy and moving. i bled for two weeks. it took me going to a completely diff ER to get answers. turns out i had a SCH and placenta previa and needed to be put on bed rest. i immediately switched to an OBGYN elsewhere and was actually taken seriously. i don’t recon this place at all.

Unfortunately I was never able to see the doctor, because they gave me the round around for going to the ER. I when to the ER because the doctor would not see me before I can give them the medical records. I just looked for another doctor and they where able to fit me into their schedule same day, because I was actively bleeding 11 weeks pregnant. Don’t waist your time with this office, there is better caring doctors out there.

I was slightly hesitant about coming to this clinic after reading some of the reviews but, I went with it because I've heard good things outside of that. I ended up being scheduled with Dr. Mahajan-Merritt. I absolutely loved her. I checked-in for my appointment on time and was seen on time as well. I was so happy that Dr. Mahajan-Merritt knew about my underlying issues during my appointment and spoke to me about options that other OBGYN's in this area have disregarded. I very much appreciate being heard. Everyone from the lab tech, to the front/back office checkout staff were absolutely sweet and attentive. I'm glad I came to the office and will absolutely be a forever patient.

Love love love Dr. Turco. I’ve been seeing her for 2 years and she’s truly great. Her NP is amazing as well. The office staff is nice at both locations. They make you as comfortable as possible and remember the little details.

I go in for my appt today I had already spoke to Erica about my balance & we agreed on a payment plan on every 3 of the month ok cool. Next thing you know I’m getting charged on the 7th? She called me telling me card was declined well obviously I asked for the 3rd of every month I left it like that I asked her if I can just go ahead & pay the 20 when I go to my appt I NEVER got a response. They tried charging me the full 200 balance up front I said “no it’s only 20 I have a payment plan” there was no notes in my chart she has to call Erica. Erica said I had to pay the full balance? like LOL WHAT I have the payment plan right here. I talked to the office manager she takes my $20.00 with NO PROBLEM. I also had to be rescheduled bc the DOCTOR said we had to reschedule even tho my appt was at 2:50 & I called the manager at 2:55 & they have a 15 minute grace period . Just crazy .

Started off going for my women exams, now 2 years later I’m on my first pregnancy Dr. Adomako has been amazing & super helpful !!! Yes she’s fast but always in a cheerful mood ready to answer any questions I have. **TIP: Write your questions down before you see your OB so you don’t forget anything YOU MUST ARRIVE EARLY OR ELSE THEY RESCHEDULE YOU!! & Yes, the waiting room time is long but it’s worth it. I see a lot of bad reviews about how they had to wait months for an appointment so did I & everyone else.

I have 3 girls, Dr. Adomako sees all of them including myself she is an awesome doctor I don't trust anyone else!

I have been calling for 3 days in a row to try and make an appt for birth control. No answer no call return. Then finally get someone to answer and she’s rude as hell and says their scheduling out into June. We are April. Girl come on it’s for birth control. Way to treat your patients. What a shame. I work as a nurse and I get we are all short staff but this isn’t the way to treat patients. Very disappointed. Will look elsewhere.

Very upset with my experience here. The OB I had rushed my induction at the hospital.. I turned to my back sonthey could rearrange the heart monitor after being on my side for an hour qnd the babies heart raced due to me switching sides and the OB said I needed an emergency CSection... afterwards we found out she didn't 8 csection that day with no normal deliveries at her request.. my first time having a baby was rushed for no.reason besides the OB didnt want to wait.

Except for having me fill out paperwork on a laptop on the front desk where EVERYONE WALKING IN could see my answers to my medical history, my well-woman appointment was good. Staff kind and professional. Next time, I'll go to their higher rated clinic up in Kingwood.

I'm currently seeing Dr. Adomako and I am completely pleased with the care she's given me. Not to mention I've had only pleasant experiences with most of the other staff. Always helpful and polite when I was switching over. They're pretty accommodating and I appreciate the experience I've had thus far. I must say I enjoy the Kingwood location better because of space and minimal patients at my appt times. The Atascocita location is a lot busier.

I had a fantastic appointment with Dr. Towns today! I’ve been going to her for two years for well checks and she, and the staff and nurses, are incredibly nice. I can’t understand the posts about rudeness, that was NOT my experience at all. She was kind and jovial, and listened to all my concerns. I waited about 18 minutes to be seen the dr., after only waiting about 3 minutes to be called back. I deducted one star because I agree with others that it’s difficult to talk to a real person or nurse when calling sometimes.

I would recommend Dr. Mahajan Merrit, she is knowledgeable and friendly. All of my questions were answered and she took great care of me during my pregnancy. 4 stars is for the clinic itself, I've never been to appointment where I didn't wait minimum 1 hour. Maybe that's normal? I'm not sure.

Dr. Champion is awesome. She is so sweet and knowledgeable. She always makes me comfortable.

Love Dr. Champion. I have had 5 kids and all through CFW. Although it does take a bit to get in as far as scheduling an appointment, but when I’m there everyone is so great.

I've gone to Care for Women for 8 years. Dr. Mahajan has been through three pregnancies with me. I trust her completely with me care and have no complaints. I have also had experiences with other doctors in the clinic and have no complaints.

This was my first visit at this location and with Dr. Mahajan- Merritt for an annual check up . Dr. Mahajan-Merritt and her nurse were very caring , efficient and thorough. I am impressed! Glad I found her and her team for my care .
