My review is for the humidor only. It was a small long room that smelled of slight mildew, something I've noticed in several stores. The selection was standard but did have ample signage with is always helpful, but the staff was not knowledgeable about the cigars, but despite that fact, they were still helpful in answering my questions in general. So, it was mostly a disappointing experience. Especially, since there aren't other premium cigar options in the area except Top 10 cigars.

I didn’t post any pictures because you know the place and I do not feel like providing them any free advertising. Spec’s wines, spirits and fine foods in Atascocita and unfortunately other places have provided me a very mixed response when spending my money their. Sure, they have a large variety of wine and spirits no doubt. Since I don’t need some rare wine that is made from pigs blood and only made twice a year in the Himalayas. I typically buy the common vodka, rum and tequila it really doesn’t require a warehouse size store to satisfy my liquor needs. In fact I drive by two or three other liquor stores in my 5 mile journey to this specs that I could’ve easily stopped. In the future I probably will. Today’s experience with one of the cashiers let’s say her name was Monica was sort of indicative of the experience I have all too often at spec‘s. I step up and said “hello”, she says “cash or credit” in response . I repeat “hello” . she repeats her “cash or credit” response. Perhaps I should’ve given up my efforts of civility but my old East Texas up bringing states that before business is transacted there is a minimum amount of pleasantry. I repeated the third time “hello” then she finally says in the most dismissive way “hello cash or credit”. Now I can get disrespected any number of places I really don’t see why I should pay almost $70 for the privilege. The Specs commercial says “we treat you like family”. I don’t know what family treats their other family members like this but I pity the person who is a member of that family.

If you advertise delivery services, then follow through and communicate about the order. The employee not being there isn’t a good excuse. Someone else needs to be handing the orders on a revolving basis. Otherwise what’s the point. Two stars because the employee that informed me my order was not being delivered was the only helpful information I received. Overall 0 stars for not doing what you said you could do.

Good location and organized and staff was helpful asked if I needed help only down fall was only 1 register open more staff on the floor than the register.

Different varieties of alcohol. However beers are pricey here. Employees are nice and helpful

Professional opinions and suggestions from staff. Great tasting to assist in selections. Great choice of mixers. I would recommend to anyone new to Specs.

Stopped to pickup Crown Royal, great deal on the 1.75L. Just about $12 more than the 1L for almost double. Happy customer! CS always great...

The line was long, but it moved fast! There was lots of staff helping customers. The store was well stocked.

A pretty good selection, but lots of salespeople walking around giving their opinion and talking WAY TOO MUCH about their recommendations even though you didn't ask. 🤬

My specs I love going here. Just a bountiful of good things. Mainly the bourbon lol. Also if you go make sure you get the pecan pie just awsome I get one every year. 😋 Happy holidays everyone.

I typically come for the small sample-like sized bottles, and they're decently priced. If I can't find a wine or something I'm looking for, staff are pretty knowledgeable and guide me to where they are. There's a discount for paying with cash/debit, which is nice!

Spec's is the only liquor store that I go to, they have a wide variety of different liquors and great gourmet foods. The staff is always friendly and if you start a key club account you will get big discounts! To all my fellow veteran brothers and sisters don't forget to mention it at the checkout you will get additional discounts!

I don’t appreciate that your employee Jana refused to take my valid and non expired California ID only because it was folded. I felt embarrassed in front of all the other customers and she only stated “I am not taking this” . Of course I had to get my passport from my car and she still second guessed if she should take it. Please work on your employees, I never had a problem with showing my ID anywhere else including this location at other times.
