Just had similar experience as others. Selected their location as my dentist through insurance in July. It's now September. Just finished appointment with orthodontist. Called back to make appt for a cleaning. They wouldn't even give me a date. They said I wasn't on the insured "roster." Called insurance and spent 40 minutes on phone with them. They sent roster with my name on it to them. Called them back and they gave me a date that is 1 year away!! Not to mention office staff on the phones are rude. Complete waste of time. Staff not apologetic for not knowing how to read. They act like you are inconveniencing them by making them work. Girl on phone told me hardly anyone in area takes my insurance and that's why they are booked so far in advance. That is a lie. Just scheduled appointment with much more courteous staff at another dentist in the "area" 2 weeks from now. Carus Dental is trash. If they can't hire someone to answer phones and book appointments with basic customer service skills don't give them your hard earned money.

The actual wisdom teeth removal process was fine, BUT their scheduling system is absolutely horrible. For the initial appointment, they called me the day before and said they had to reschedule my appointment and couldn't get me in for another 2 weeks. For the surgery appointment, they called me a few hours before and tried to reschedule my appointment AGAIN. After getting obviously upset, they finally said they could see me that day, but I needed to come in a few hours later than scheduled. I got there at 3:50 (my appointment was moved to 4:00) and then I sat in the waiting room for ALMOST TWO HOURS. I understand that when you go into a doctor's office, there is an appropriate amount of time to wait on the doctor, but this was ridiculous. They have made this whole experience so much more stressful than necessary.

Everybody usually dreads going to the dentist. Everyone from the front office and all of the staff in the back was very helpful and accommodating. During my deep cleaning, even when I was tired from working a 12 hour shift and falling asleep multiple times. They were very patient with me and understanding of my long work day. So, thank you to the entire dental office, this is the best spot to come to for every Dental Related.

This dentist office is great from the front door to the dentist the hygienist assistance everyone is great it’s a friendly atmosphere very efficient very professional I give them five stars I give them 10 if I could have no complaints they truly have their patients best interest at heart they’ve got your mouth their first and only concern you’re a dental health so I give them all kudos

The staff at Carus Dental-Atascocita are very professional, friendly, courteous and calming! The office is clean and parking is abundant.

The staff is good however the scheduling is very frustrating. They have rescheduled my appointments at least 6 times throughout the years. Once I even showed up for my 7 or 730 appt only to be told it had to be rescheduled. I have to take vacation time for my appts and it’s not easy to get off work. Again I made an appt 5 months ago for my 6 month cleaning only to be informed it has to be rescheduled and the first avail is at least a month away. Don’t even bother calling cause the operator can never answer your question about scheduling and says she will send to the office. They call back 3 days later. Very frustrating and I will make it a priority to look for another dentist in this area.

Everyone is Always very polite and professional. I trust Dr Loren with my dental care and I have had tons of dental work there and very pleased with the outcomes. I can tell they truly care about my health and that means the world to me. My Thanks to the entire team!

I have never had such a good experience at any other dentist. I love Dr Whitehead. She did a root canal and it was painless. She made me feel comfortable. The office is clean and the staff are friendly. I even recommended them to a co-worker and her and her family love them.

The service and treatment here were excellent from start to finish! From the dental hygienist to the dentist to the secretaries, our experience was very positive. I highly recommend the office.

My experience was great. The staff was kind and friendly. The procedure was done with great care and my well being was the focal point at all times.

Everyone at Carus provided excellent customer service. I did not feel like I was being up sold at all. Instead emphasis was placed on the overall health of my teeth as opposed to cosmetic procedures. I will definitely be back.

This was the second time having Hena Patel as my dental hygienist with Carus Dental. She was encouraging in the improvements in my teeth since last visit and identified an allergy in the toothpaste I have been using for years. Hena provided education on my allergy, samples for alternative toothpaste, and it has already made a significant difference the appearance of my gum health in a few weeks. I really appreciate her thorough attention to detail and care! My dentist is Dr. Precious Lloren, she has filled many cavities for me and does wonderful work. Carus Dental administrative and dental associates are personable. In my experience, the administrative staff are excellent at discussing payment and insurance claims which allow me to be in a position to make the optimal treatment decision.

My sons and I have been coming to Carus Dental over 5 years. We love coming here their service is excellent.

Please don't go here. Someone else reported scheduling issues and I can attest to the truth of this. In the day and age we live in people get ill. But the attitude of the staff, treating my time as inconsequential is frustrating. I decided to go with a new dentist and requested my x-rays to be sent over. That same day I received an invoice from Carus for X-rays that were taken at least three weeks prior. They said the insurance wouldn't cover that portion of x-rays. I did not have the energy to fight insurance or Carus dental. I paid the invoice. When I called back because the coding seemed off, (I found more paperwork) I was told they couldn't see the invoices that was sent to me. When I asked more questions, they put Sarah on the phone who was completely unprofessional and obviously ready for a fight. To top it all off, all of the recommended dental work Carus said I needed was a complete joke at my new dentist. The hygienist at the new location was upset that someone would require a gingivitis cleaning on my teeth. She said "there is NO way you needed that!" All the problem area's Carus spoke about were not an issue or discovered at the new location. This is my only review on google, I had to express my deep frustration with this situation. I'm so grateful there were so many scheduling issues that I was moved to go to a new dentist it wound up saving me hundreds. I hope this helps.

Hena was a great Hygienist! Very friendly and professional. Her explanations of every step were concise and knowledgeable. Repeatedly asked if I had any questions and answered them accordingly. Dr. Lloren was very pleasant as well. I have been through many dentists in this area with no feeling of comfort, but I'm looking forward to going back to Carus! This was my first but as I have multiple dental issues, I'm confident they can handle them all.

I called on very short notice & they squeezed me in immediately to take care of a horrible toothache. The Dentist quickly diagnosed an infected tooth & prescribed antibiotics to treat infection. I was given an easy to understand treatment plan with multiple options. They were kind & compassionate & took great care of me. I would highly recommend Carus Dental.

I had a great visit! The office and clinical staff were so warm, genuine, and caring. They made me feel welcome. It was like being around old friends. 😃 Dr Bates is the best. I usually have extreme dental anxiety. He was very comforting.

I paid for a new upper denture there less than a year ago. I had an appointment today to see how much it would cost to have it adjusted and relined. I had no work done. They charged me $70 just to give me a price! Something I could have received free on the telephone! I'll definitely be going elsewhere for my dental work!
