Lovely wide paths for walking or running. Charcoal Grills and covered picnic tables, playgrounds, Tennis Courts, and swimming pool. Make sure you come for the weekend Farmers Market.

This is a great place to go for a walk, run, or bike. My kids age 7 and 10 enjoyed biking on the paved sidewalks. That kept them busy about 30-45 minutes but after that they were bored of doing the same areas biking over and over. There is a pool and playground here. Both looked closed due to Covid 19. There were some people playing tennis. The bathrooms were clean. Overall we love this park!

It seemed nice enough. Unfortunately, we went for the pool, which was open, but had to leave and go to Memorial Psrk instead. I needed somewhere with walk-in pool accessibility, not just a ladder or jumping in.

Bishop Park has it all! As a visitor from CA, I’m so impressed to see a baseball field, playground & swimming pool all so easily accessible. Good job Athens!

Great place for playing pickup basketball, walking dogs around the paved trail, playing frisbee on the field, and plenty of other activities.

Bishop Park is one of my favorite parks to go to. Plenty of courts to play on, a walk track and farmer's market, make it a great park

Absolutely beautiful this time of year! I was so happy to visit it again! I'll have to get pictures next time because I was so busy visiting all the vendors! I love it!

Great park in Athens! Nine tennis courts, plus one covered I believe, and all of them are lit, which is really nice. Haven’t played the covered court, so not sure about that one. Basketball courts, softball field, football and a community pool. There is a lot of open green space and a playground for kids. The farmer’s market is located here spring through fall on Saturdays. Wonderful place to hang out and enjoy the outdoors! Always something going on!

Really nice park to visit pretty much anytime of year. They have a great walking or running track and also it's pet friendly. During the summer time they have a really nice pool with diving boards and of course a great playground. They also have full court basketball and really nice tennis courts. You really couldn't ask for too much more. The bathrooms are always clean and the park is always well taken care of. Highly recommend visiting and taking your kids or just enjoying yourself and relaxing at this park.

The park was clean and very nice. Pavillion was quite large. Only thing with the Pavillion I was at was the men's toilet had no door. Other than that it's an awesome place.

I love this park. There's ball fields, grassy areas, walking trails, picnic tables, and it hosts the weekly farmer's market on Saturday mornings. There's also a pool and plenty of tennis courts. Lots of parking and mostly dog friendly.

Great place to unwind and take in the outdoors. The wife and I have been going here for years. We really enjoy the walking trail which is all paved with little hills. There are plenty of places to have a picnic and even a playground for the kids. Pros: Well maintained Plenty of parking Tennis courts Ball fields Picnic tables Pool Cons: Fridays are grass cutting day. I don't mind much, and the crew is curtious.

FANTASTIC PARK ... GREAT PLACE TO GET GRANDKIDS OFF PHONE/TABLET/COMPUTER ... EXCELLENT TENNIS ( COVERED & OPEN COURTS)/PICKLEBALL/BASKETBALL/SOFTBALL/PLAYGROUND AND SWINGS FOR CHILDREN 1-10 YRS. ... and finally OLYMPIC SIZE SWIMMING POOL (ONLY OPEN SATURDAY and SUNDAY after Church) I wish it had SENIOR/RETIRED/DISABLED SWIM DAYS during the week... ITS HOT IN THE SUMMER, so, if I have to walk, it would preferably be to a 💦POOL OF🏊‍♂️ COOL🏊‍♂️ SOOTHING 🏊‍♂️WATER💦 rather than a POOL of SWEAT where my body used to be ... LOL😆😭🤣 R Wayne Beaty USAF/DAV/RETIRED

Always clean. Great tennis courts (even a couple of covered ones!) Basketball courts. There is a nice walking trail with modest hills but mostly flat and shaded. The park could have more grills and such (only one near a small pavilion). Playground is small to average but kids seem to enjoy it.
