Entire staff is outstanding. The best eye doctors visit I have ever had. Peggy, Christina, Ansley and Dr. Poole were so kind and helpful from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. This going to be where my husband and I go from now on.

Had two routine checks over from them, and honestly it's just a nice and friendly place. They just opened a location on Gaines School Road which is closer for me that's great. - Ray

Dr. Poole is a great doctor and took the time to educate me on my eye health. Eye doctors, in my experience, tend to be a bit aloof, but Dr. Poole is clearly an exception to that rule! However, from start to finish the real MVP at this office for me was Stephanie. She was kind and patient over the phone as I scheduled my appointment, when I arrived to check in, and when I was checking out. I had a question about my contacts that she made sure was answered before I left. The folks at that office are smart to have her be first and last contact with patients!

Very friendly and professional staff in a clean new office! I was pleased with the examination and how Dr. Poole explained the results. The online scheduling tool worked great, which made it easier to compare availability to my schedule.

Dr. Chad Poole, Amber the tech and Rose at front desk are extremely awesome!!! Today was the first time my four year old child has ever seen an eye doctor. There was a look of worry on her face and they put us both at ease. It showed in the work they did, they truly care and enjoy what they do. They talked us through every step and gave a lot of information without me having to ask. I thank God for the experience we had today!!! Your work doesn’t go unnoticed and we are grateful for the encounter today. Good customer service is truly hard to find these days especially since Covid. Friendly, helpful, and clean. East Athens Family Vision staff are top notch. I am a new patient and I was impressed by their communications and urge for patient satisfaction. The morning I visited they were running behind due to system opportunities. They let each patient know what was going on and updated each of us along the way. What Dr’s office does this?!?? Despite their many challenges they continued to deliver quality care. Thank you!

What an awesome place. Ms. Ansley helped fix my glasses when they broke. I was so stressed because I couldn't see! But she dropped everything just to help me and it changed my whole day. I am so thankful that this establishment is here. From now on I will only purchase glasses from them/Ms. Ansley!

I got an exam there last year when it first opened and came back for another. Dr Poole was very kind and knowledgeable. I ordered glasses yesterday. The opticians were very sweet and made the experience quick and enjoyable. They even played with my hyperactive 3yo so that I could shop in peace. They were able to get my glasses completed the same day. I love them!

This place is stellar. My first experience was over a year ago when they fit me in immediately for a corneal infection. They went above and beyond to get me a pair of glasses made for me that visit. Today I went for a yearly exam. Same high level of customer service. They were engaging and profession even with my toddler who at times was apprehensive about watching what was happening to her papa. Entire staff is warm and welcoming. Thanks East Athens for making our visit an enjoyable experience.

Unfortunately I have to spend a lot of time at the Eye Doctor but East Athens Family Vision helps make each experience pleasant. They are attentive, friendly, helpful, and don't rush through the exam. They explain what they are doing, why they are doing, and they work well with insurance to avoid issues. I've been a patient at this and their sister office across town for over a decade and both have been very good to me.

I had a negative experience with East Athens Family Vision during, and after, my appointment last December. I made an appointment to get an updated prescription for my glasses and a new pair of contact lenses. Dr. Poole was 35 minutes late for my appointment. It was the middle of my workday and this put me under a time crunch. Despite that I was clear that I wanted rigid contact lenses, he spent 15 minutes attempting to talk me into daily wear lenses. This was frustrating as, 1) I was already pressed for time, and 2) I stated from the start that I wanted rigid lenses. When I told him we needed to move things along, he became defensive and rushed through my exam—the most important part of the appointment. When my glasses came in the technician who did my fitting was good. But I never got my contact lenses. I called to inquire about them in early March and was told a technician would call me back. No one called back. So, I now have to spend more of my time to go elsewhere to get my contacts. I will not be going back to East Athens Family Vision.

I'm a new patient and what a great staff! Especially love Jami and Dr. Patel. Kind, thorough and joyful. Dr. Patel is very knowledge and asked me to tell her my concerns, and actually listened! Rare gem for sure in this practice.

Today was my first time at East Athens Family Vision and Dr. Poole was great. He was very helpful. I liked him a lot, I will return.
