I
would
like
to
share
my
personal
experience
with
Hotel
key
12.
Important
to
note
this
is
describing
my
own
point
of
view
only.
I
live
in
Israel,
a
war
broke
out
here
in
October
and
so
I
planned
to
fly
with
my
husband
to
Athens
to
get
away
from
the
war
zone.
My
husband
and
I
decided
to
fly
to
Hotel
Key
12
in
Greece
for
two
weeks
and
we
were
really
looking
forward
to
this
break.
The
vacation
was
booked
for
November.
Unfortunatly,
and
as
later
pointed
out
to
the
hotel
and
to
booking
(through
which
we
have
made
the
reservation),my
husband
was
called
up
to
reserve
duty
and
there
were
concerns
of
flight
disruptions,
so
I
asked
to
cancel
the
hotel
reservation.
When
we
informed
the
hotel
and
to
Booking,we
we
told
that
we
would
have
to
pay
the
full
amount
of
the
vacation
to
both
of
these
entities
(4,000
NIS),
and
that
they
have
no
intention
of
coming
towards
us
at
all
:(
We
asked
Booking
to
help
us,
but
after
weeks
of
trying,
they
claimed
that
the
hotel
manager
is
refusing
to
come
towards
us
in
any
way.
We
are
aware
that
the
cancellation
policy
is
7
days
in
advance,
and
we
canceled
about
5-6
days
in
advance,
but
it
was
due
to
force
majeure
and
not
of
our
own
free
will.
We
were
really
looking
forward
to
this
vacation.
We
also
tried
to
talk
directly
with
the
hotel
manager
(Manos).
It
was
hard
to
get
hold
of
him
but
in
the
end
we
succeeded.
I
pointed
out
to
to
him
that
the
cancellation
was
made
the
day
after
my
husband
was
called
to
reserve
duty,
and
that
there
were
flight
disruptions
and
we
did
not
know
if
it
would
go
through
in
the
end
and
we
turned
to
him
with
a
request
if
he
could
be
considerate
and
give
even
a
voucher
for
future
redemption..
we
were
not
even
expecting
to
get
money
back,
we
just
wanted
to
have
the
opportunity
to
enjoy
the
hotel
at
a
different
date.
We
offered
the
voucher
solution
-
I
pointed
out
to
him
that
the
vacation
was
booked
for
two
weeks
and
from
our
side
we
would
be
happy
if
we
get
even
a
voucher
of
4
days
(even
though
we
paid
for
two
weeks)
that
would
be
great
for
us!
Minos
claimed
that
the
cancellation
policy
is
one
week
in
advance
-
we
pointed
out
to
him
again
that
this
is
a
situation
that
is
not
known
in
advance
and
depends
on
force
majeure
and
we
would
be
happy
to
come
and
stay
with
him
and
even
recommend
him
-
Minos
claimed
he
would
get
back
to
us..
some
time
has
passed
and
we
realized
that
we
will
not
see
the
money,
not
half
of
the
amount,
not
even
a
voucher
for
a
few
days
on
a
date
he
would
allocate
us
in
advance.
So
it's
a
shame
and
really
disappointing,
but
I
would
like
my
Israeli
friends
to
hear
my
experience
with
the
place.
In
summary,
the
author
of
this
text
had
a
negative
experience
with
Hotel
Key
12
in
Athens.
She
and
her
husband
booked
a
two-week
vacation
at
the
hotel
for
November,
but
they
had
to
cancel
it
due
to
her
husband
being
called
up
to
reserve
duty
and
flight
disruptions.
The
hotel's
cancellation
policy
is
one
week
in
advance,
but
the
author
and
her
husband
tried
to
explain
that
their
cancellation
was
due
to
force
majeure.
They
offered
to
compensate
the
hotel
by
staying
for
four
days
instead
of
two
weeks,
but
the
hotel
manager
refused
to
budge.
The
author
is
disappointed
with
the
hotel's
lack
of
understanding
and
compassion
in
this
situation.
I
hope
this
translation
is
accurate
and
helpful.
