The Barber of Seville was exceptional! The theater a classic.

Second time after a long period of no visit. The theater is good, well equipped stage with great sound and the whole atmosphere takes you 40-50 years back in time, Well I suppose that is the age of the theater as well but I may be wrong ☺️ The piece we saw was not great though. "The Barber of Seville" was somewhat less than what I was expecting. Maybe next time I shouldn't expect, but that's what I always tell myself 💙

5 stars for the performance 3 stars for the quality of the theater... it is old, but it is also neglected, with limited space for spectators, unless you are below 1.5m tall, and without a foyer. On the positive side, it gives you a warm feeling of being back to the 1900s !

Beautiful theater hosting great shows. In the heart of Athens easy to reach. Didn't like that the smoke from the smokers was everywhere during the break.

A great Athenian theater with unique actors in an all time classic play. Thank all of them (including musicians - Mr Kraounakis songs- and the rest) for giving us such an amazing experience!!!!!

This is an iconic theater. One of the oldest theaters I'm Athens. Every year stages popular theatrical acts. Should be on your bucket list.

Having visited the same theater a few years ago, I couldn't wait to be there again! The space is very well maintained, respects the historicity of the building and meets some basic criteria of a good theater, such as being able to see and hear sufficiently from all points of the square (however, I have no opinion on the exterior). However, the main complaint is for two things: first, the inappropriate behavior of the 4 taxi drivers who were caught by one of our conversations and then made fun of us in front of our faces, completely indifferent to whether we realize it. Second, even though the show was late to start in normal contexts, they still let people in an hour and a half after it started. In other words, we should pay the tickets punctually (because it is an expensive theater) and not respect the one who is on time and wants to enjoy himself in peace. I'm sorry you really lost some of your credibility this time.

I saw hairspray musical there. small room but really well done and organized. the musical was nice and funny good actors and dancers.🙈popcorn was amazing!!!loved all!

Excellent performance! The live band was a great addition! The costumes were also lovely and the humour throughout the whole play had me laughing every 2 minutes!
