The toilet bowl was filthy but the rest of the room was clean. There was a soft spot on the floor near the window where rain water was coming in. Fortunately we noticed it before walking in it with socks on. The coffee was good. I would have rated better if the toilet didn't look like it had been soiled and then not cleaned for weeks.

We stopped here on the way back home. They are a dog friendly hotel. It looked like they were in the process of remodeling. Our room was excellent and the staff was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely stop here again next time we are in the area and in need of a place to stop.

Traveling home with our dogs. Needed to find a place as it was late. Called and they held our room. No extra fee for our dogs either. Nice remodeled room. Quiet! Staff was polite and friendly!

Motel sits back a bit off the road, the winding access road could have more or better lighting. Renovations are still ongoing at this location. I website I had viewed when looking for a place to stay gave it a better review than others in the Athens and Chattanooga area. The website (not a Motel 6 one) I viewed said there was breakfast, that information was INCORRECT.....only reg coffee and hot water. Our stay costs were highly inflated due to the Georgia vs Tennessee football game being held in Knoxville the next day. Desk clerk was friendly.

The only good thing about this motel was the service, and that it was clean. The guy at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Rooms are under construction or recently renovated, so they are very clean. The sound carries, though (im assuming carpet was torn out and replaced with the current flooring which is what left the gap. You can hear everything going on in the hallway. There is an inch of light under the door at night. The knob on the bathroom door in our room was put on backward, so the door wouldn't shut. The shower floor was clean, but the plastic part right above my head and higher up on the walls wasn't. Tv was really new but didnt really use it much because we were just passing through. I 100% get that it's a "budget" hotel, but we paid 99$ for a room (on a weeknight,) not 60, and i guess i expected a little more.

The motel and rooms are fine the management is the problem I was refused a room because I am a resident of Athens. I was told locals aren't welcome because they have had problems in the past. I used to stay there every weekend when I drove over the road and was here on the weekends only I didn't have a home but I have family here and I had an Athens Address then as well. But the new management would not even allow me to explain why I was in need of a motel room. I had a home but had a broken A/C and it was way too hot to stay there until the unit was repaired. Since then I have never stepped foot on their property.

The hotel was very clean. Our room was spacious and was perfect for what we needed. It had a new tv with a remote that was easy to use. The staff was friendly and attentive. The price was great. If you need to stop in Athens in get a good night sleep, I recommend. The bed was comfortable and the sheets felt very fresh and clean.
