We made sure to order the vegan Moussaka and the generous serving was mouth-watering. Also the Soutsoukakia is definitely worth ordering. We visited the main restaurant first for evening meal / dinner and then the smaller outlet near the Acropolis for lunch and takeaway (to eat later on flight home) the next day. The choice, flavour and quality of food and drink at both sites is amazing and the price very reasonable. The main restaurant (Akadimias 84, Athina 106 78) serves a great choice of vegan dishes all made from natural ingredients and a good selection of drinks (alcoholic and non). The food and staff there were so amazing and helpful; so good in fact, that we walked 1.9 km (25 mins) from our hotel to check out the other diner in the Acropolis area the next day! The Acropolis diner is smaller and has less choice of dishes on the menu but is perfect for lunch when near the main Acropolis tourist area. The food and drink here is equally delicious, value for money and staff are equally very professional and friendly. We plan to visit both restaurants again some time in the future when we return to the great capital city of Greece which we love so very much!

During our stay in Athens me and my boyfriend visited Mama Tierra twice. We had looked it up before our visit and with it being a completely Vegetarian menu we knew we had to visit it. The first time we had the Mushroom Burger, you can add Patatas Bravas on the side, it comes with a pot of BBQ sauce which is delicious The mushroom burger is much bigger than Burgers we have in the UK. Its a Mushroom pattie built up of different type of mushrooms, with cheese, tomato, caramelised onions, mayonnaise and lettuce. It gets verrrrry messy!! I don't know how my boyfriend ate his without spilling, mine was all over the place The burger is so filling, the potatoes helped with that of course. It was the first time we have been full since arriving. The 2nd time we went, we both tried the traditional Greek dish of Mousaka (with a Vegan twist of course!) . We shared Potatas Bravas and Basmatic Rice. It was very soft and creamy, it was completely different to what we imagined. It is full of vegetables. With it being so creamy we were glad we had sides as it was our evening meal.... But oh my goodness it is also so filling! I kind of wish we had shared on piece as we felt bad leaving a little of it. It tasted incredible though but we left so full . Highly recommend if you want a Greek Meal suitable for Veggies and Vegans. I wanted to try the Chocolate Moose but we just couldn't think about eating more food. The menu here is amazing, I can't believe how many items there is on the menu! I wish you were open on Sundays so we could try one last meal!! The only downside is the area where Mama Tierra is located, we have found of all the places we have been the street it's on we end up either walking really fast or running due to lerkers/smell but that could just be us off course but we would recommend you go in the daytime/light.

Really nice vegan restaurant in Athens. We did walk a while to get there (was absolutely worth it), but there is a also a metro station close, in case you are staying in the city center. We did try one of the burgers as well as the mushroom melt wrap and were both amazed by the flavours and the great taste. Perfect meals if you are really hungry and are graving for proper meals.
