All we wanted was a late snack after arriving from the airport, but we were told the finger food for 2€ a piece was all sold out and that we should “just get a big plate”. In the end, we paid 22€ for a Greek salad, a gyros plate and 2 soft drinks. Supposedly the card reader was broken (we had to pay cash and didn’t get a receipt) so I doubt that order shows up in the books lol. It was good food, we just feel slightly ripped off.

So after arriving late, I was looking for a good fast meal. This was a nearby walk. Was pleasantly surprised at not only what I got but how good it was. Each bit was just rewarding. Like a food critic told me once, "do you find yourself going back for another bite" Then your palet must be still interested! Yeah, my taste buds were still interested to the last bite. The crust crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Like a perfectly toasted English muffin. Each piece of meat had a crispy skin from the spit. Proper Gyros!

This store had really good pitas, and I highly recommend their chicken options. Their porks to souvlaki was also very tasty. It is very convenient to sit out on the patio as there is there are fans with water, a great option on a hot day.

One of the best value meals I've had in Athens, similar traditional foods that you get in other places but for a fraction of the price. From memory, Lge beer 3.90, Greek Salad 7.50, fried feta cheese and fried zucchini balls 6 euros each. 👍🏻 For example, I've seen Greek Salads on menus around Athens for 12 or even 14 euros which personally I feel is taking the piss.

Wanted a pork gyros but told they don’t serve snacks in the evening. Fair enough so we had pork in pitta x 2 and beer x 2 which came to 21 Euros. Not bad. It was very tasty. However only one waiter so we had to wait a long time to get served. Once he took our order, food arrived fairly quickly. They also forgot our honey feta but that was a good thing as we were stuffed. I would return but maybe for a daytime snack instead.
