Worst hotel ever, Do yourself a favor and don't go there. Me and my husband wanted to celebrate our anniversary and we paid €135 for 2 nights. When we came they said it's €10 per day for parking, After we checked In, The room we received was with 2 separated beds when we specifically asked via the reservation for 1 single large bed because we are a couple, Also the room was old and not nice at all, We asked to move us to another room so they said they can add a mattress on top of the bed and when we refused the reception said we are not the first couple and that's what they have, And then she mockingly asked if it's our first time in a hotel , So eventually she said if we want she can upgrade our room for additional €20 , After all of that we we wanted to go see the view from the roof top but the rude waiter said we can't enter without explanation. And the cherry on top, at our new room the window is leaking, and from 135€ we paid 182€ (+6€ city tax) Thanks for the "pleasant" stay.

Completely disappointing hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Very expensive for the facilities and services offered. Paid 143 per night for a mold smelling, non renovated, small and blind room with a noisy AC and plumbing. After I complained for all these I changed to another room but with no luck. The smell of the air freshener which is used to cover the bad smell of the rooms leads to a sore throat. The “cleaning” takes place up to 16.30 which means no rest in the evening because of the furniture dragging around by the cleaning people. Also around 00.00 in the night I woke up by the sound of a vacuum cleaner coming from another room. I chose this hotel by luck because I was in the need of a room to stay during a heat wave in Athens and I was glad I booked it for only one night. The price they charged me at the check in (with a fake discount from an employee at the reception who was not clear about what are the prices for one or two nights when I asked him) was more expensive from all the Titania hotel online platforms I checked later. Note that the room they gave me was nowhere posted. The pictures generally are misleading. The non renovated terrible rooms, they exist and are overcharged. Do a search before going there…. I didn’t….

What an experience here in Athens. The hotel was so sweet. The room was quiet and comfy and the food here was great. Nothing can beat the daily and nightly views of the Acropolis! It was simply heavenly. I recommend this great hotel to all viewers.

The best part of this hotel is the beautiful view of the Acropolis from the top floor and the lovely breakfast. Rooms are dated and could do with an upgrade although clean and spacious. Corridors smell musty. Staff are unfriendly and inhospitable. Convenient location for getting around Athens.

The hotel's only positives are the view of the Acropolis from the rooftop restaurant and the convenient location, especially by car (but not higher than 1,80 m). The rooms are narrow, low, with extremely depreciated and old equipment, it's like going back 40 years. The windows did not in any way insulate from the noise of the ventilation system that ran from the outside along the wall, the bathroom was extremely narrow, the tub and shower damaged. I would not repeat a visit despite the beautiful lobby that initially welcomes the guests.

Amazing hotel for great value! The rooms were perfect and very comfortable. The location is great and it is easy to get to metro stations and taxi ranks. The area is a little bit sketchy at times, but the hotel is very safe. The staff was great and super nice and helpful. Our favorite part was the breakfast and the roof top restaurant it made our trip so enjoyable!

No AC in the rooms, or in the hotel. Told to open our windows for air. Opened the windows and mosquitoes come in attacking us all night. No iron or ironing board in the rooms, bring your own steamer. It’s a nice hotel but extremely disappointed with the nonfunctional air conditioning.

The front lobby is beautiful. As was the rooftop view from the restaurant. The overall experience was good. However, the room was extremely tiny. The washroom looked like it was falling apart. Especially the ceiling in the shower. The staff did not do a good job tidying the rooms - left cups and plates in the room. Dishes weren't cleaned properly.

Great place, the installations are really good, comfy bed and good bathrooms. The breakfast is served in the rooftop with amazing views of the city. The location is also great, few minutes walking distance from the main touristic spots.

Worst experience in Greece and definitely not worth that price point (230€ per night). In my opinion the only 4 star thing in this hotel is the lobby. I was in a "renovated room" but you couldn't know it by looking at it. I booked an executive room with Acropolis view. Not sure from the other floors but from the 8th downward you will have little to no view of the Acropolis. When I arrived there were no towels, I had to flag down housekeeping for them. The minibar only has water. I asked for a double bed and got 2 single beds rolled together. The overall decoration is well below average for a 4 star in Greece. I had a bath so wanted to use it after a long day of travel. 1st of all the water pressure is ridiculously low and 2nd the drain would not lock so the bath was useless. The TV has no smart option so you're stuck with mostly greek channels. I had paid for breakfast but it wasn't possible to have it cause all the restaurant was full and had to leave early. When I asked to have it in my room they said I would have to pay for the room service breakfast which was like 15-19€ more and not just the difference. A waste of money...

This hotel is located in a GREAT location for walking around the local area. Has great views from the roof top of one of Athens landmarks. Has old world charm and well kept! Food was an Athens experience, after a long day of walking the staff was accommodating and delivered whatever our group needs or wanted.

Great location, Good breakfast lots of choice. The lobby of the hotel is wonderful to look at. We were upgraded to a family room from a triple room which we had booked. The room was spacious and clean but very dated definitely needs a face-lift. The bathroom was clean but the shower/bath was so small and the shower screen was very hard to keep in place. The water in the shower went from.boiling hot to lukewarm constantly and the shower could only be positioned in one place so you have to stand in the corner of the bath to wash yourself.

My stay at Titania Hotel in Athens was made truly remarkable by its outstanding staff. Located conveniently in the city center, the hotel's real charm lies in its team. From the warm welcome at reception to the attentive service in the rooftop restaurant, every staff member went above and beyond.

Great location to hangout in Athens. Good dining services, wonderful view of the city at the restaurant. We missed having a queen bed and settling for two twins. The service was excellent and staff extremely helpful for getting around the area safely.

I was here with a group of 38 for 2 days. I'd like to underlight: Room very clean, breakfast fantastic and in general good quality of the food. I read some low opinions about the elevators: there are at least 4 fast elevators!! What else do people want? Forgot to remark terrace at 11^ floor: a must of the hotel

A fantastic hotel, situated not far from the city center. The rooms are quite nice, but the best part is the awesome rooftop, with the best view to Acropolis and the rest of the city. Beautiful by day, lovely and breathtaking by night. The food is delicious, and the breakfast is quite nice. It's a shame that the bar closes at 12.... The elevator is also a joke. It's a long wait for the elevator.

The location is great. In the center of Athens close to malls and attractions however the rooms weren't comfortable very small bathroom no views, no natural light. The service was very good. The olive garden rooftop has amazing views to the city you can see the Acropolis

Beds and pillows I found hard, although bearable. Air-conditioning will not function if windows not CORRECTLY closed with magnets aligned.

The hotel seems a bit run down and could use a facelift. It is a great location for tourist attractions. The staff were fine but nothing special. I found it interesting that the reception when asked did not recommend the restaurant in the hotel to us. Breakfast was fine but nothing special. I can’t give this hotel an incredible review nor a bad one. It was just fine and I slept here, ate here and don’t ever plan to return.

Amazing hotel. Good location. View of the acropolis at night with lights on is also nice. Rooms are big. Breakfast spread is amazing too. Little on the expensive side but worth the money. Staff is helpful. Recommended

The hotel has an excellent service, location and esthetics. The personnel is competent and very friendly. I was negatively surprised by the room size. For the 100€ range you are getting an acceptable small room, so I would definitely suggest an upgrade to a suite. The breakfast was more than perfect! Don't forget to visit the rooftop bar

Hotel is nice, quite and clean, staff very polite. Our triple room was better than expected, with 2 separated rooms. Our son could sleep by himself. Restaurant view is amazing, but too expensive for what it offer.

Hotel is centrally located. Rooms met my expected from a 3 star hotel. Pillows are firm. Showers are kind of small especially if you have broad shoulders like me. Breakfast has numerous options. I would stay here again,

Clean and nice atmosphere. Shower drains were a bit slow. Food was wonderful. Rooftop breakfast with a beautiful view of the Parthenon

The rooms are very small and the bathroom was even smaller. Renovations are needed. The only thing updated is the rooftop terrace. There must be a shortage of ice cause that is scare throughout the entire hotel. They don't even allow outside bottle water up there. Save your coins. Look elsewhere.

The facility is not bad from out side and for the first look, but my experience was very bad, as my SUPERIOR room was without working AC, and the wall toilet flush button fell down on my daughter. The duty Manager saw it and accused us of that and they want us outside the room to fix the AC… The Duty manager was not polite at all

The cheaper rooms can be quite "below average". Apparently there are better rooms but they are not family rooms so they were not available to us. We left. View from the restaurant is great but it doesn't make up for a poor room.

Location of the hotel is nice. There are two metro stations omonia and panepistimiou nearby within walking distance. There is also market and plenty of nice eateries around. The rooms are comfy and air conditioned. There is also nice american style buffet breakfast at the rooftop with amazing views of acropolis. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for stay on visit to Athens.

Very large hotel with roof top restaurant that looks into the Acropolis. We stayed on 7th floor but did not have much of a view from room, but the roof top area was very nice. Very clean and comfortable. Wide array of breakfast items. Easy access to the core of Athens.

  • 5/5 Marcello B. 8 months ago on Google
Very nice hotel in central Athens. Few minutes from Omonia metro station. Impressive view of Akropolis from the roof where we had an excellent and quite rich breakfast. Nice and available staff at reception.

The lobby area and the reception were lovely, same as the restaurant on the 11th floor. That being said, the rooms on the 3rd floor were atrocious. The furniture were worn and old, and the room itself was incredibly small (for a triple especially). The walls were so thin that we could hear everything going on next door, and the smell was awful. It felt like the last time there was any renovation/refurnishment done on the floor was 15 years ago. The room was €125 per night, so I didn't expect perfection, but it was truly disappointing. I can't say the same about the higher floors, but my experience was unpleasant, to say the least.

  • 1/5 Kyle 1 year ago on Google
Seems like all the hotel profits go into the lobby because the room was terrible. The furniture seems like it was pieced together from various scraps of wood found on the road and nothing looks modern.

We stayed for 7 days there for b/b in the standard triple room. I will state the good and the bad. Good: location is perfect. Almost walking distance from everything in good weather. Breakfast was the same everyday but it contained most things you can wish for in a breakfast Room not spacious but ok Bad: room service. the water glasses didn’t get changed on daily basis. We had to call every 2 days to get it done. Also the bottles of water, we were provided only 3 bottles the whole 7 days! When we asked the room service, they said coz it is paid but when checking out we discovered it was complimentary which means that we didn’t receive our daily water bottles as in any hotel!

If anyone is looking for deals for hotels go over to ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ made a reservation for a hotel room on there and these guys had the best rates worldwide! A nice and luxurious hotel at the center of Athens. The roof garden has great views of the surrounding areas. Also there is a breakfast buffet at the roof garden, which turns into a regular restaurant later on.

The Athens location of Titania was our home for almost a week. What an amazing stay, great service, beautiful rooms and the view. What a view it was. Highly recommend whether you are a repeat visitor to Athens or it is your first visit. Ideal location.

Recommended by a Friend who had previously stayed there. I loved my 2 nights stay at Titania and will sure to be back when in Athens again. The hotel is nice and large, lots of character and super comfortable with an impressive large foyer entrance and large indoor and outdoor rooftop patio where you can see the whole of Athens and the Acropolis. Great breakfast there. The Staff were super friendly and helpful. A problem with the shower was immediately resolved. The bed and bedding were the most comfortable I have used in any hotel for a long time. Great location near Omonoia Square which I actually really liked. Not far to the other way to Syntagma, Parliament and Ermou. All my relatives knew my location. Even a pre-arranged taxi call for pick-up through reception, to go to the Airport was on time and went flawlessly with Tasso, the super nice taxi driver (only 35E) - exactly half an hour if no traffic. Amazing and memorable end of week short stay to a great 3 week holiday in Greece. Will be back. Greetings from Toronto, Canada ! Thank you...

A mixed feeling. The hotel is centrally located, the lobby and the roof top restaurant are top notch. Breakfast is OK but you actually don't care about what's in your plate because what matters is the 360 view you get on the city and the Acropolis. I put 3 stars because of our room, if you want to sleep, earplugs are a must have. The main street is busy 24/7, the walls are thin so it feels you are sleeping with your neighbors.

We stayed there from the 18th-23rd of October and loved our stay. The hotel is close to two subway stations and bus/bus trolley stations. It is not far to walk to Monastiraki for example. The location is great! We found our beds to be comfortable and clean. The breakfast they served were varied so we had a lot to choose from. The view from the dining area is great, the acropolis can be seen from there. The staff were helpful and kind.

Exceptional services in all areas. The rooms are renovated with good quality of bed mattresses and minimal decoration, safe in the cabinets , ergonomic design, plenty of choices in TV channels and foreign channels even in Japanese. Bathrooms are very good. The stuff are always very polite kind and with a good spirit. The view of Acropolis from the roof garden is marvelous. The breakfast is served at the Olive Roof garden and that makes a difference. It is recommended by all means

Great location, right in the heart of athens, and walking distance from everything you'd like to see in the city. The hotel itself is great, with spacious and clean rooms, comfortable beds and a very nice restroom, and the staff is on par with everything else I said. Definitely a 5 stars from me

The manger of the restaurant Anna Tsarkani and her team are excellent. Anna provided excellent service for dinner to please the need of her customers. She went the extra mile to provide different choices. She is very helpful and cheerful. We would like to recommend her as the best employee of the hotel. Thanks to her we had a wonderful dinner and we enjoyed our stay.

In the pictures it looks great, but I got a very poor small room and the window is clogged in another building and I was shocked when I arrived the booking does not include breakfast, you have to pay 19€ for breakfast per person and for the balcony you have to pay 50€ per person. I am never satisfied.

Really beautiful ambience at the entrance. But very small rooms for a 5 star and the bathroom is very small too. Could barely move my hands in the shower. Some third party sites don’t give the correct room and photos for booking too. Great rooftop view of the Acropolis and nicely located !

Very nice hotel beautiful lobby rooms are clean close to the transit system and friendly staff. Can't comment on anything else since we didn't eat in the hotel or have room service for anything but as far as a nice hotel in the area goes I think it's one of the best.

Horrific experience! We stayed at the third floor the rooms there are not renovated our room smelled mold ! We couldn’t understand what is going on ! In our last night my husband pull the bed sheet and we found out I was sleeping in a mattress full of mold !!! I’m allergic especially in dust mites and I was sleeping on that mattress ! They changed me room on our last night I filled a complaint cause it’s a matter of hygiene they can’t play with my health if they can’t do the basics how can we trust they do what they need to protect us from Covid ! And guess what they didn’t even bother to contact me !!!

Difficult to rate this hotel as we had two stays a few nights apart. During the first stay we had a room where the air con didn't really work at all and the room was very smoky, despite being told it is a no-smoking hotel. Other members of our party also had the same experience. During our second stay we were in much better rooms with ac that helped a bit and no smoke smell. Finding a tick in one of our rooms was unpleasant but this could happen anywhere (though the acceptance of pigeons on the rooftop restaurant can't help). However, it was dealt with swiftly, professionally and apologetically and I was, throughout, impressed with the excellent service and nice food. So if we had had a better experience in the rooms the score would be higher for sure. The hotel is centrally located with superb views of the acropolis from the rooftop restaurant.

As an event agency, our team had the pleasure of collaborating with Titania Hotel recently, and we were thoroughly impressed with the exceptional services provided. From start to finish, our experience with the hotel was nothing short of outstanding. The hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and ensure that every aspect of our event ran smoothly. From the initial planning stages to the execution of the event itself, their professionalism and dedication were evident every step of the way. One of the highlights of our experience was the F&B services provided by the hotel. The catering service exceeded our expectations, with a diverse menu featuring delicious options to suit every palate. Our clients and guests were thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and the impeccable presentation. In addition to the impeccable service and beautiful venue, the hotel's location is also worth mentioning. Conveniently situated at Athens center, it was easily accessible for our clients and guests, making it an ideal choice for hosting events of all sizes. Overall, we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience at Titania Hotel. The professionalism, attention to detail, and exceptional service provided by the entire team truly set them apart. We look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with them again in the future.

We were a group of parents with children having a wonderful trip in Athens by visiting Acropolis and other sightseeing at the capital city of Greece. The day was perfect until the moment we arrived at hotel Titania. Greek authorities have to check the hotel as the 4 stars doesn't appear to stand in the rooms as you can clearly see in the attached photos. Old unfashioned furniture and broken. The door hardly opened to go in. But this wasn't the case. At the moment we arrived - parents with children - the personnel of the reception denied us to enter from the main entrance and they suggested to go by the right side door which was a few meters away. But this wasn't the case too. When we went from the right side and tried to get into the hotel - tired from the whole day - they denied again the entrance. Case has been started. They insisted to pay the accommodation tax fee which was 3 € per room (we had already prepaid all rooms costs), otherwise they wouldn't give us any keys to go into the disgusting by the smell of humidity rooms we saw afterwards. We politely requested to let us go into the rooms as we had luggage and several other stuff on hands and we couldn't wait outside for as long as they were asking one by one the parents (Group of 100 persons) to go pay the 3 € and afterwards to give us the keys to go into the rooms. Then we requested to let us go into the rooms and leave the luggage, so the next minutes we could arrive at the reception desk in order to pay the accommodation tax. They denied unpolitely and didn't care if there were parents with children, some with infants on hands and several others with health problems. As we were a group of people - parents with children - they made us feel like prisoners waiting for their turn to get a plate of food for so long time. It took 50 minutes to let us go into the rooms to get a second surprise! Rooms had no balcony at all and the only 1 window was overlooking into a skylight. This was the reason of the smell of humidity. We are a family travelling all over the world and this attitude has happened first time in our life and happened in a hotel located in our own country. Hospitality and kindness? These are words that don't exist at all in their vocabulary. It is highly NOT RECOMMENDED!!!! Find another hotel before book there. There are other hotels with staff who make you feel comfortable and happy in the city of Athens! Give your selves the opportunity to meet them and not the staff of Titania with the discusting rooms. Never again!! Terrible!! It's a shame!!
