If
you
are
looking
for
a
place
to
socialize
with
other
travelers
then
this
may
be
the
place
for
you.
If
you
are
looking
for
a
place
to
relax
and
get
a
good
nights
sleep
then
you
need
to
keep
looking.
I
was
given
a
key
to
my
dorm,
but
I
got
the
impression
that
people
would
have
been
surprised
if
I
actually
locked
the
door
to
my
room.
People
were
walking
into
my
room
and
other
rooms
at
will
even
while
I
was
trying
to
nap
or
get
dressed.
The
implied
open
door
policy
was
not
the
reason
that
I
ultimately
left
in
the
middle
of
the
night,
though.
The
rooms
were
so
dangerously
hot
at
night
that
I
worried
about
heat
stroke.
My
friend
and
I
got
so
sick
that
we
had
to
leave
at
1am
to
find
a
room
elsewhere.
The
heat
was
a
serious
issue,
but
the
owners'
reactions
to
our
concerns
were
bizarre
to
say
the
least.
They
basically
begged
us
to
stay,
and
one
owner
even
implied
that
we
had
to
stay
because
it
was
late
and
there
was
nowhere
for
us
to
go.
I'm
unsure
what
their
motivations
were
for
desperately
trying
to
convince
us
to
stay,
but
it
was
off
putting
to
say
the
least.
My
friend
and
I
did
end
up
finding
another
room
without
the
help
of
the
owners.
The
owners
only
refunded
our
deposit.
Without
investing
in
window
units,
the
dorm
rooms
just
aren't
safe
in
the
summer.
There
is
no
fresh
airflow
even
with
upwards
of
five
fans
going
in
one
room,
and
with
five
people
to
a
room
it
is
impossible
to
cool
down.
The
owners
offered
ridiculous
solutions
like
standing
in
the
cold
shower,
but
none
of
their
ideas
got
me
any
closer
to
getting
a
night
of
sleep
which
was
my
sole
reason
for
being
there.
If
you
are
looking
for
a
comfortable
and
safe
place
to
sleep
while
you
stay
in
Athens
I
highly
recommend
staying
somewhere
else.
