My wife and I stayed at Athens Diamond Plus hotel for four nights on December. On the positive side, the hotel staff was very nice and welcoming, our room on the 3rd floor was very large and mostly clean. It also had a large balcony. The location is great, just 5 minutes walk from Syntagma square and right at the corner of the lively Ermou street. On the negative side the room needs some maintenance. Breakfast was brought to the room every morning an included sandwiches, bread and jam and honey, hard boiled eggs, yogurt with granola, fresh fruit and cornflakes with milk. Overall it was a good stay, and good value, but not excellent.

Great location and nice room. Surprisingly effective at keeping out the noise from the city. The bed was very large as it was two individual beds pushed together (but the gap was barely noticeable). There was a fridge and a safe, good shower and two sinks. Most importantly the staff were polite and friendly and ready to offer any help or advice that they could. A very pleasant stay in the centre of Athens.

Great place to stay. In the middle of the center 250 mtr from Syntagma Square, so easy to reach with bus X95 from the airport to Syntagma . All sightseeings are within walking distance. Very clean and breakfast in a basket in the room is great! I can recommend this for your visit to Athens

Terrific location. Nice boutique hotel in the center of Athens within easy walking distance of everything. The room was spotless and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The front deak staff were friendly and helpful. This isn't a resort hotel or something unusual; perfect when you need some place stay on vacation and intend on spending most of the day outside. Fly in, take a cab here and you won't need a car for the rest of your stay.

I stayed here twice. The first time the room was superb. Breakfast in the basket was really an experience for me. They can stow your luggage for free and it’s totally safe as they have a tagging number system and only handover your luggage if you give back the number to them as I was also monitoring my luggage as I place airtag in it as well. Only the room on our second time not that sheen as shower door cannot close properly but overall it is still ok for me. The staff is friendly. The location is good as it was just a walking distance to syntagma bus station at othonos road bus X95.

Lovely room (205). Stairs directly outside and lift 3 footsteps around the corner. Huge bed. Chaise longue sofa. Bathroom with two hand basins, waterfall shower, toilet. No bath. Forty nine steps if you take the stairs rather than the lift. Two balconies with opening doors. Double glazed reduces noise. Fridge. Central location just a stones throw from Syntagma Square on a side street so away from the noise of the main shopping street. You get a card key so you have access 24x7. Why only 4 stars? Prime reason is breakfast is delivered in a basket from The Marbolous Hotel so no choice to decide what you want from a laid out selection. Not made clear when booking! The WiFi can be temperamental leading to buffering when watching Netflix because the TV channels were not connecting. The safe is great but it is not secured to anything so if someone managed to get access they could simply lift it up and walk off with it!! Reception Service from the Marblous Hotel was excellent and they were even kind printing out our two boarding passes - that’s a big plus! Yes I would recommend Athens Diamond Plus but be aware of the weaknesses so as to embrace them.

Good service and very clean. Only downside is that the breakfast selection is a bit limited. Would stay there again though. Great location!

Central location next to shops, tavernas everything . Very helpful staff! Also i was very suprised becuase i had to do an early check out before breakfast, they prepared me a small breakfast package to take with me to the airport. Surely i will stay again!

Warning everyone don’t stay at this hotel! The room is hot like oven and I request to change room the reception women is rude and said there is nothing she can do and said that you can open the window and it’s not that hot ? Are you serious kidding me or what ? If not that hot then you come with me to the room, then she said I’m not free and I’m busy. Think twice before you book this hotel.

Omg so cute! I love the design of the room and how it’s decorated. So clean and bright. Good toiletries and easily accessible! The location is by all the popping spots. You call in the morning and they deliver a breakfast basket 🧺 I would definitely return🥰

Nice boutique hotel Small moden lobby, but the rooms are amazing large. Love the decor The electric sockets are in strange places and it could use the better deep cleaning and some little repairs. However, I can Overlook that. The beds are comfortable and clean with a great balcony Central located, you do not need a car and grocery stores and shopping all around you. We went to the local grocery store one block away and were able to buy smaller items and snacks and put them in the refrigerator. I would would definitely come here again

Good location. Check in was quick and easy. Super clean. House keeping was amazing. Super attentive. Great complementary breakfast.

Great place to stay! Perfect location, easy to get around to see all the sights and shopping area of Athens. Good size rooms. Friendly staff and a great breakfast, highly recommend. You'll really like it.

Very good location and affordable price. The AC in our room was very quiet, so we could leave it on while we slept during the night. We also really liked the brealfast baskets. The only cons are: the hairdryer barely worked, could use more counter space in the bathroom.

Location is wonderful at this hotel, close to the train station and in Plaka. The bedroom was very clean and updated nicely. The bathroom was clean, but there was mold in the caulking of the shower. Hopefully that caulk is replaced soon. If you are a larger person, this shower is not for you! I had no problems with it, but I'm a smaller person. As it is the trend in Greece, you have to use your card key to start electricity and the AC unit. This wouldn't be a problem if the AC unit was remotely efficient. Our trip was in the middle of June 2018 and the heat level never became comfortable. The breakfast is lovely and the staff is very professional and kind.

Great little boutique hotel in an excellent location. Just minutes from the main train Syntagma station so easy to take the train from the airport. Breakfast has a good variety and is cooked fresh on site by a proud team.

Loved this hotel! Was right in the centre and everything was in walking distance. Room was spacious and clean. We were on floor 3 which had a balcony. Breakfast is delivered in a basket every morning which was cute and you can enjoy it in the comfort of your room. Service was great from the staff we met. Would highly recommend this hotel

Excellent location. Old fashioned hotel renovated. We got a big, neat bedroom. Shower clean and large enough. Every day there is a change of towels, cleaning and arranging the room. The staff service is excellent, so is the breakfast on the sixth floor. A rich and tasty meal. When weighing all the above, we will return to the hotel.

The rooms are decent. The showers are a little small, but big enough to do the job. Wouldn't consider it a 5 star hotel, but again, decent.

Cute room in an amazing location (local metro hub) for a great price! What more can you ask for?
