On a block with several other cafes, Taf is the most inviting with a slick inside space that’s cold with AC and outdoor seating. My iced latte was good and the server even brought us glasses of ice water.

Best coffee I had in Greece. Highly recommend the rosebud blend, it’s a bit sweeter and mellower than the competition blend. Also recommend going hot cappuccino over iced/freddo, even if it’s a hot day outside. The flavors are much better and more pure without the ice

The Brand is strong. Set up inside is for selling merchandise and maximising the brand. Pleasant staff and plenty of seating to ease into and enjoy a coffee. Coffee - 7.6: the flavour is all there, subtle notes of caramel comes through the medium roast beans. It’s a shame the milk work was too thick at the top of the cup to properly appreciate smooth drinking. If you’re looking for an improved classic Italian “cafe” then this is actually one of the best. If you’re looking for solid artisan third wave work then it’s good but not the best in Athens.

Delicious coffee, nice service, very helpful personnel. They serve a V60 in 3 different shaped cups, making it taste in 3 different ways, which makes it an extremely pleasant tasting experience.

Such a charming coffee spot! We tried their competition coffee which is more roasted tasting, and rosebud coffee which is a subtle flavour and loved both! They serve water and had a perfect outdoor seating. Lovely area and highly recommend! Great service too!

A legitimate coffee establishment with a great variety of specialty coffee bean selection and a very attentive staff. The barista took extra good measures to tend my requests.

Fantastic coffee, great croissants, and excellent service! We had 2 Cappuccino one with oat milk which they charged extra for, which was okay for me. One chocolate croissant and one normal both were really buttery and delicious! We also got water and refill of it for free which is nice and welcome. Overall if you are into third wave specialty coffee this a place you can come to safely. Recommended!

One of the best speciality coffee spots in Athens. Offers a wide range of high quality coffees from all around the world. Tried a hand brew from Costa Rica and it was very well brewed. However I had a problem buying beans due to language barrier :) They had bunch of beans on the shelves however couldn't figure out which ones were suitable for filter brewing. (A quick solution might be; searching through their website, pick coffees for your liking and ask the barista if they carry the ones in the cafe.)

Lovely little coffee shop on the main street, tucked below the awning. Cool Athens coffee street. Tried the freddo espresso with their house blend and it was very good! The staff was super friendly, lots of coffee bags to grab off the shelves and the toilet was impeccable!

I bought their coffee beans in the airport. a bit disappoint their coffee beans. Every coffee beans are packed, so we could not smell and feel it. But I still decide to give it a try ... the tasty is not good in the end 🙃 Suggestion for brand owner: selling coffee beans in the airport is not like selling coffee beans in the coffee shop, it's better provide customer service to experience the coffee beans to manage their expectations.

Great staple coffee in city center. Recommend the local rosebud blend - great with cappuccino.

I found Taf Coffee on a list of 'top coffee places in athens' - it certainly lives up to that label! From the friendly staff who very helpfully guided me through the choices on the coffee menu (!) through to an expertly crafted cup awaiting me, the short walk out was well worth the trip.

Every coffee lover should try this at least once: competent staff and flexible menu. On top you have value blends, rosebud is less dark. If you want to go for a single origin, the menu continues with 15+ coffees, prices rise quickly but this is the recommended choice if you really are a coffee enthusiast. Plenty of merch inside, including 4 different types of coffee cup

Good quality filter coffee (small batches). Good cappucinno. Nice staff.

Amazing specialty coffee! Highly recommend if you are in the area and after some caffeine. The baristas and staff are very friendly and explained the three different shaped cups and how they impact your smell and taste. The in-house roasted coffee beans are amazing, and the baristas do an incredible job extraction all that deliciousness.

I had a cup of black coffee in this shop in the afternoon. I feel so happy! Silky mouthfeel and balanced coffee flavour. It is the quality that a cup of specialty coffee should have. And nice prices. I give it five stars. But when I went to the airport store, the same name but completely different quality. The coffee at the airport shop is expensive and terrible, with super high price and very poor taste. I regret my decision to drink this cup of coffee at the airport before leaving. How nice it would be if everything could only stay in the good memories of the downtown store!😭

So the coffee is okay, I wouldn’t rate it 5-stars. We got a cold brew, Freddo and two cappuccinos. The freddo was better than other places because they mix the coffee and milk. The cold brew was average. The cappuccino’s were like other coffee shops I’ve had.

A nice little Coffee Shop. The Coffee was great and the Batista was very Kind. It was kinda noisy outside, but it's part of the Athenic charme.

Quite a few specialty coffee places on this street and we are glad that we chose this one. You can choose beans (yay!). I had the more fruity beans and my husband had the normal beans. Both were delicious and the staff is also very friendly! Highly recommend 🥰

It is a cosy place, they serve good quality coffee and very little pastry or cakes options. Why my rating is only 3 stars, it is because I think, the coffee shop is placed into wrong location, outside view is not the one I want to see. The staff was kind!

Highly recommend for this coffee house ,they have high quality of coffee and beans specially flat white .

Great coffee place. The venue is located in the middle of a bustling street. In a busy area. You should not afraid to be seated in the terrasse and have the noise of the car engine in the background. The coffee is freshly ground, allowing a flavored cold brew. A typical Greek place, I recommend.

New discovery in the center of Athens, have visited this place during summer holidays. Tried flat white, coffee was very good for Greek standards, cozy and clean place, worths the visit. Only feedback for improvement would be to use appropriate flat white glasses as the one served was difficult to catch since coffee was hot 😊

Lovely! Very original and lightly roasted.

Clearly one of the leaders in third wave coffee in Athens, maybe the pioneers? The coffee is good, but there are also lots of good alternatives. The coffee itself is quite good, but the vibe could be better. It’s a nice spot on a key road in the neighborhood, you can buy high quality beans, and the service is professional. Worth going if you’re a fan of coffee.

Best cappuccino in Athens, hands down. Very reasonably priced, high quality beans, quick service. You must try it when you are in the area.

Fantastic coffee. Random little spot to sit and take 15 minutes out of your door to let the world go by ... a.k.a great people watching location.

  • 5/5 Sarah T. 1 year ago on Google
If you appreciate high quality coffee and espresso and do not prefer those sugary drinks they sling at Starbucks, come here. They serve V60 pour over and some of the best espresso we’ve had while visiting Athens. A true gem IF you appreciate the true taste of COFFEE that isn’t ruined by sugar.

This place is amazing!😍 The staff is very friendly, the desserts are tasty, and the tea that I took, White Pear, was superb. A great place to relax and work with a laptop. The interior is clean and neat. I love this place!

Super nice coffee. Absolutely tasty and a real gem to find in the city of Athens. The staff was also really nice and friendly and I enhoyed my stay here very much.

An awesome variety of coffee blends with lovely aromas, very much recommended. The coffee shop also offers its own brand coffee beans and combinations.

Lovely place with vast variety of coffee. But that day all we wanted is a cup of tea and fortunately here you can find good tea. Tea served in nice pot with a cup. Good place to make a stop for refreshment in between museums excursions.

The almond milk took over the coffee taste. Drinkable but too sweet for my taste.

  • 5/5 Jesús A. 1 year ago on Google
Decent enough. Athens is full today with shops with pretensions in specialty coffee but only someone bears the standards. Taf is one of them. They satisfy what is expected: reasonable prices and outstanding genre, you are getting what you pay for, by far.
