Lovely coffee to go from Kaya. Hidden in a shopping district as a hole in the wall gem. Staffed by one barista who made me a delightful freddo cappuccino. Smooth, silky, superb!

Maya reminds me of an old school, no frills coffee shop but it has taken it to another level. Offering a true third wave experience with style. If you want to have some of the best coffee in Athens but don’t like the pretentious artisan scene then this is the place to come. The staff are just cool, I wish every baristas were like this. The aesthetics are perfectly chosen as well. Coffee - 8.4: I would highly recommend the espresso over the milk-based drinking. They’ve chosen beans for full strength and wonderful flavours. It’s somewhat a shame to waste it with a milk blend. I tried their flat white and it was a solid 8/10.

This is outstanding coffee. If you are seeking Australia style coffee this is it. It takes about 10 minutes to make a flat white when they are quiet so give yourself extra time.

Maybe one of the top 5 places in the city centre to enjoy a very sophisticated blend. A well-hidden place but totally worth to discover. Friendly staff. May take some time to be served your coffee, usually has a handful of people waiting for their coffee.

This was my favourite coffee shop in Athens (with strong competition from Taf), part of the blooming Athens specialty coffee scene. They have a wide range of rotating single origins from roasters around Greece, a slick set up and were extremely friendly.

Very good specialty coffee shop. Their bean roasts are excellent and it reflects in their coffee. I would recommend warm cappuccino: The best I've ever had. In my opinion, their forte is warm coffee; for espresso/cappuccino freddo I would look elsewhere. Nice street vibe to it, too. No sitting, just sipping on the go! Totally worth it, though. The staff are very professional and a pleasure to watch churning out coffees.

This is a neat coffee shop, hidden in the shopping centre near Syntagma. They cater for all your coffee needs on the go. Various beans and extraction methods available. I grabbed long black and it was well balanced and pleasant brew. Kaya is working with local specialty coffee roasters, so you're guaranteed to get fresh beans all the time. The coffee shop. The staff are very friendly and happy to talk about their beans and coffee in general. All in all, great coffee on the go.

Possibly the best espresso I've ever had.

Had freddo espresso. Loved the glass view and watching the owner making my breakfast of choice. Neat slice of Athens.
