Nice hostel, first in my whole life but I have really enjoyed. Staff is gentle and responsible, great hospitality and courtesy. The guests are from all around the world and is a great chance to meet new people and make new friends. They have a lot of activities make your staying interesting, you have to go there if you're visiting Athens, hopefully to comeback soon.

This place is great because if one guy and his name is Theo. ^_^ His smile is just infectious and makes you feel welcomed. Thank you so much for all the help during my stay. Most of the guest staying here are hostile. I attempted to talk and make friends but this place isn’t like other hostels I’ve stayed at. I felt lonely here, the reason why I come to hostels when travelling alone is to make friends. Someone to talk to whilst travelling solo. I also booked a all male dormitory, but I found out there was a woman in the room with us. Which is not good practice. There is a rooftop area which is lovely especially during sunset. I would go there daily to sit and have a drink. Great in the morning too to stretch and exercise. The dorm itself was okay, the mattress sheet was torn and the blanket too thin, it gets so cold at night. The pods are nice but some shelves would be good addition. Hooks in the room will be a good addition. You get a towel too which is great. Bathroom is inside the dorm improvements to make, the shower head could be on the wall as it would make showering easier. It was cleaned and dressed daily. There was a few days there was no hot water so I had to shower with cold. This didn’t bother me as was in the morning. The kitchen, it’s a really good space well equipped but a microwave would be nice addition. The fridge is disgusting it needs a good clean. I didn’t have breakfast (it’s 4€) it’s very basic coffee and pastries. There’s better places in gazi. There is a laundry service for 5€, you can dry clothes on balcony or the sun roof. If you need any help there’s lots of information at this place for sightseeing and tour. A lot of nightlife, restaurants and bars in the local are.

If you like noise until 6 am, dust and dirt everywhere and a breakfast that's basically toast and butter, then Ikonic should be your first choice. One of my roommates found bedbugs, too. Management seemed rather unconcerned, but considering the overall run down condition of what once must have been a nice Hostel, small wonder. Its saving grace was that it was very cheap.

Bed bugs huge ones made our stay so bad! I got serious health reaction from it ! First room big ones , they were eating us alive, 2 ND room after we required change bed bugs all size small medium etc...the worst part was not their existence but the staff behavior... No apology nothing, the girl with long black hair kept quite and the boy as well and they kept putting people in the 2 rooms in front of us!!! Which is not ok at all! They knew we showed them pic not only us but another lady as well...they saw our bites ..and they behaved as nothing is there just to get more Money...we just left disgusted they did not offer refund and we did not ask...

Great place to stay. The room was excellent and the beds really comfortable. What was the most beautiful part of the hostel was the rooftop. We hung out there for hours. Plus the night life of Kerameikos is really really awesome. Finally the staff people were really friendly and helpful and made us feel very comfortable. If you are traveling in Athens and you are on a budget, this is the place to live. I would totally recommend it.

Came here for just 2 days but ended up extending my stay till 5 weeks.. this hostel is amazing not only because of the location, but also because of Dimi and Theo two hardworking people:) They and all the other travellers you meet make this place a home.. I can’t wait to go back again, would definitely recommend to everyone

Wonderful hostel one of the best hostels you can stay in ..staff is super friendly and helpful, hostel has a cozy hanging out area where you can meet lots of travelers, there is a full kitchen and a roof top. Everything is supeer ,,Thanks Teo and Elina for hospitiality :)

awesome place, stayed in the 4 beds room, small but sweet, nice balcony and small and effective en-suite bathroom/toilet.... Kitchen well equipped for good meals and nice terrace upstairs.... wifi not perfect but workable.

The best hostel all around the Mediterranean! Never in my life I spent so many beautiful and lovely moments in an unbelievable place like this! Good feeling & vibrations every time time! You must to come & feel it!

I liked my stay in this hostel. You have to consider that it can be loud at the weekends, the hostel is nearby a lot of cafes and clubs. Staff was very friendly, especially Panos helped me a lot. There a good connections to buses and the metro (very nearby direct metro to the airport).

Great hostel for backpackers and travelers, pretty affordable as well. The dorms are good,the staff is amazing - really made good friends with them! They're extra helpful and considerate. Hygiene could be better, but you have soap and toilet paper in all the bathrooms, you get linen and towels, and they have a decent sized kitchen too. We came back several times during our trip, and they were always able to find options for free beds for us, even in last minute circumstances. All in all, would recommend for young travelers who want to make friends and new experiences!

bad value for money!! -one of the guys at the reception was really unfriendly and got annoyed by asking questions -unflexible, i wanted to move one night for later because of bad weather forecasts, it wasn’t possible, i will lose the night but can get a little discount for the next night i would book -the beds were super uncomfortable and old -the bathrooms were dirty and smelly, the showers didn’t have water pressure -the wifi didn’t work when i was in my bed -not social -really bad value for money, i paid 30 euros a night and it was one of the worse hostels i stayed at!!

Great location in Gazi. Very close to a lot of bars/clubs and the metro is quote literally 2 minutes away, and 1 stop away from Monastiraki, 3 stops from the Acropolis. The lobby is quaint, friendly people usually hanging out. The rooftop is very nice, you get a decent view of the neighborhood and it is nice to hang out on. There is a good sized kitchen available as well. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were private with a curtain, light, and electrical outlet for each bed. The bad part - the bedroom and bathroom were pretty dirty, even after being "cleaned". Nothing crazy, but enough to make me a bit uncomfortable, even as someone who has stayed in plenty of hostels of a lower caliber. There was no AC in the rooms, which was advertised. Very disappointing and frustrating when it was warm and humid outside, so sleeping was difficult. They also advertised washer and dryer, and there were none available.

Great hostel, perfect location at the center of Athens close to a metro station, and close to good areas with nice café and bars. Very friendly and helpful staff! I loved Thodoris, he made my stay very pleasant!!

Oh it was great! Rooms were clean. People working there really nice and helpful (special thanks to guy named Theo). The location is fantastic full of bars, restaurants, near metro! And all around one can spot wonderful graphite.

My stay: Feb,2023 Decent hoste, 5 mins away from metro, u can go directly form airport to the metro station and walk 5 mins). Quite neighborhood. Price is quite affordable. Simple. Breakfast is available at 4 Euros ( original price is 6). I stayed in room for 6 and room for 12. Room of 6 is a lot better and newer while the room for 12 ppl is older. Washrooms are available inside room, and toilets are given as well. They have kitchen but the Pans aren't in good condition. Fridge and freezer also available. No microwave. The staff are kind, especially Theo Suggestions for Hostel: 1) Get new pans 2) Get Microwave 3) better to have softer curtains so that it makes less noise. 4) the lights are too dim for room for 12, needs to be brighter.

Just two stars bc of the staff (so kind) and the location. Cleaning was not good, my bed bottom sheet looks really bad. Also, pls avoid the 12 ppl room, It’s a basement.

It is an amazing place very clean and with very comfortable beds. It is very close to the metro, supermarket, restaurants and has very kind and helpful staff. Also very nice rooftop and I met people from all over the world. Mariano you are the best !!!

Cosy and modern hostel. Perfectly connected to the metro and located next to Athens nightlife. I highly recommend that place!

Very cool hostel, nice design, beds are good and the location is great. Staff is cool, Abraham was super funny and cool.... Only thing not good is the wifi that seems to be quite bad, which is a shame, but everything else awesome.

BIG & Comfy beds, rooms with AC and good shower with lots of hot water.... Kitchen + great common space to do some computer work + 2 minute walk from the metro and cool cafes and cool staff

The location and price were great. It had a nice common area and lots of space in the kitchen of you wanna cook. It was overall a good experience.

As others have noted, it's an excellent hostel, with plenty of tables for working or chilling. However, be aware of a few things: 1. Due to the street noise, we slept with the window closed and the AC on. 2. The kitchen did not have a microwave or a toaster (but did have an oven). 3. The wi-fi is inconsistent, so streaming vids may be frustrating. 4. There is a minimarket around the corner for basics, but a "real" supermarket is 500m.

Very nice hostel! The price was great and I would stay again. Felt very safe as a solo female traveler (there's a staff member there at all times.) Bathrooms and kitchen were clean and the staff were very very welcoming.

Staff were very nice but it's hard to sleep with noise in the streets and parties across the streets in the bars all night long. NOT for the light sleeper.

The staff is excellent and there is a very homy feeling in the hostel. My room was clean and I got a towel (which is not always the case). It was very relaxing in a cool and not too busy area, but walking distance from everything you need. I could stay there for longer.

2 of the 4 people that works on the reception were rude to their clients, bathrooms are OK but not too clean. Very well located and easy to get to the subway.

Because first thing is staff are very friendly and second is The lounge downstairs is very quiet which was very comfortable for me.the interior was very attractive

We had a great stay at the hostel. Good vibes excellent staff. Totally recommend.
