very similar to tapas in Mexican restaurants for my American fellows :) you get to order a lot of different dishes to get a taste of the local and seasonal fare. The sea bream and squid were so pleasantly fresh! And you have to try the Cretan avocado dip… wonderfully different from the guacamole texture and taste I expected. Also the waitress brings little dollops of cinnamon pudding at the end of the meal which is adorable!!

Best food so far whilst visiting Athens, all the food tastes delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Portions are good size we ordered 4 dishes between two which was more than enough (although would of liked to of tried more). Atmosphere and service was good, easy to book a table via google chat too which we’ve not done before!

By far the best meal of my trip.delicious and unique dishes. Very good portions and interesting wine. Service was very friendly and on a nice street. I got the short ribs (beef railway) tomato pie and the salad. Would recommend them all.

Lovely sidewalk cafe with great vegetarian options and excellent value for money. Only a short walk from the Συγγρού-Φιξ (Syngroú-Fix) metro station. Their hot honeyed raki is also worth it, if the weather is appropriate 😉

We have a “no redos” rule - if a place is good don’t dare to go back because it’s never going to be as good the second time. We were here 3 years ago - in the peak of the pandemic and had such profound memories of the place that few places since have lived up to. The Sunday lunch crowd starts around 2pm and we were glad to barely beat the crowd and get a seat. As the light summer rain unexpectedly rolled in the tables were quickly and expertly rearranged to something more like a Greek wedding and we were pleasantly surrounded by the steady beat of the low murmur of happy diners. The cycladic salad - a cool and refreshing counterpoint to day with the crunch of fresh cucumbers and tomatoes and the tang of feta cheese was the perfect way to start the meal. The fava don’t even get me started. We’ve searched the world for better fava than this and if you can find a better one then hats off to you! Finally the grilled squid was a testament to the skill of the kitchen. The flavorful char on the outside gave way to tender juicy flesh bursting with the flavors of fire, squid ink and leek. The complimentary wine certainly helped us endure the last of the afternoon summer drizzle. If you're looking for a taste of Greece in the heart of the city, look no further—this restaurant has it all.

Poor quality food and dreadful service. If you know anything about good food avoid this place. Staff haven't a clue what they are serving and when the dreadful ....and i mean really Dreadful....quality of the produce was brought to their attention they proceed to blame the customer's taste rather than except the fact that they are serving "food" of an inferior quality. Such a shame as it was once a great place.

We ordered almost the entire menu and everything was great. They seemed understaffed but being on vacation you should slow down anyway. With a glass of Greek red wine we could sit and wait patiently. The fava with truffle oil is highly recommended.

This was our favorite restaurant in Athens. We were a group of 6 and ate there twice. Charred octopus with musk was the best, we also loved the fried large beans and fava purée with truffle oil. In addition, they had the tastiest Dakos salad we had during our whole two weeks stay in Greece. Very friendly staff, cannot wait to go back. Yum!

Let's start... Eatable food, normal prices, decent service, fair spot, interesting customers... probably no music or low ( not sure because it has next to it another food spot that plays loud music )... I could visit it again but for sure there is room for improvement...

Very small place, but large variety of Greek dishes cooked in a special way, not like the traditional tavernas. Very authentic and fresh bio food. Recommended 100%.

Amazing meal a short walk from the acropolis. Simple dishes but you can tell the quality of ingredients is high. Recommend the Greek salad and pork sausage.

I understand that they switch up the menu from time to time but what's there is very tasty. Portions are good for a light meal or sharing bites. We had the cauliflower tabouleh and lemon chicken in the winter. Plenty of other vegetarian options on the menu too like the gigantes beans.

Best food I've ever had in my life!! The menu is very creative, combining Mediterranean and modern cuisine together. It's absolutely delicious. I have tried a few dishes here and loved all of them. The best part of the night was the dessert - tsoureki with ice cream and cream cheese. I just couldn't stop eating!! 🤤 The service was amazing as well! Very friendly, social, and helpful. This is definitely my new favorite spot in the city!! Love it, just love it!!

Wow, that a find. Came here because another rastaurant that we'd wanted to go to was closed but thank god it was. Prices are good but that's not why you wanna come. The meze (like tapas but actually bigger) meals are great. Fish and squid excellent but it was actually the vegetarian meals that got us the most. If you have time or budget for just one thing, go with fava. It may not look all that great (it's kinda like hummus) but man, was it good.

Gave this place a go after walking past this place four days in a row and seeing it consistently full of people. Great quality food: standouts were the spicy chicken and fava. Sadly ran out of anchovies so we missed out but otherwise a great meal! Give this place a shot.

A very unique place like no other in the world. There is not a single dish that is standard or classic. They are all unique and different. What we had was absolute joy. Menu changes constantly and is seasonal

Local joint off the touristy track. Lovely local neighbourhood Koukaki. Place was bustling on a Saturday night. Don’t be mislead by the small plates name, the plates are huge and we ordered 4 between 2 people, way too much. They have taken Greek classics and put a twist in each dish, well thought through! Each was amazing but can recommend pork belly, fried giagantes beans and zucchini chips. With raki and wine it all came to 34 euro! What a find!!

A little place on the sidewalk. They set up an extra table for us and guests after us. Attentive wait service. We enjoyed mineral water, white wine, Cyclidian Salad (salad of the region), fried Gigante Beans, and Chicken meatballs over orzo with sauce. All were delicious and a little too much for the two of us (leftovers but no place to store them) . We had a little trouble finding the place because the sign was in Greek, so I'm adding a photo for future visitors. We have already recommended the place to people we meet on the street.

Found this special little place around the corner from where we stayed in Athens and went back twice because it was so good. Friendly staff, good prices and fabulous food! Standouts for me were the hot wine and the stuffed chicken breast, husband loved the fried beans and pork belly, but to be honest, everything we tried was excellent! Go there!

Hidden gem! Great food, great price and friendly staff. Glad we stumble across this little spot. The fried gigantes, anchovies, pork belly, and dako salad were all excellent. Avoid the tourist traps and head here for a good meal.

Came here after reading some reviews and wanting a taste of something local. A lovely little restaurant with mainly seating outside. When we came here, Athens was experiencing quite a cold period of weather, but there was a well heated and small covered area outside. This place was perfect for informal dining and served a great selection of small plates of Greek cuisine. The goat cheese balls with truffle oil were super tasty, along with the mushroom dish and the breads and dips that we ordered. The service was great too!

Good home made food with a menu that changes monthly it seems. We ordered 8 dishes for 5 of us, with a beer or two. All were delicious. Total bill was 93 euro. Would definitely go again.

Arrived when the place was already packed with locals. We asked if there was an option to sit outside. They set up an extra table and chairs for us!! Perfect!! We had 2x 400 ml draughtbeer, half litre red wine, spicy chicken, stuffed potatoe, pork meat dried and bread. Everything very tasty!! Paid 33 euro ( including tip!) Great cosy place to sit and Enjoy the food and watch people go by. A must go!!!!

The place was quite full at 10:30pm on a Friday night and I was impressed how quickly they found a table for us (we were a company of 4). The food was good, but the service not much as there were only two ladies serving, both of them really tired and because of that they were forgeting lots of things. However, they were both kind and smiling, which gives them bonus points. :) I recommend this place (if you have enough patience to understand how busy they are) for a nice dinner with friends if you are about to visit Athens.

Very tight inside the seating corner but doable. The food was delicious and the semi sweet rose wine, too. Service was a bit here and there (we had to ask for cutlery, dishes, glasses). Overall I would go again. Oh the greens were to die for ❤️

Very nice place with dishes to share, material is very good, ask for the day dishes is always nice! We came several times, always was good. Specially yesterday! I would say was specifically better than the other times. They have good raki, tsipouro...beer, wine is taverna style.

Ate here twice because it was so good. Discovered it by chance when everything else was closed on whit Monday. A small seasonal menu where everything tasted freshed and nicely done. Really good giant beans and really good fava. Just well done simple Greek dishes with nice subtle refinements. The seasonal greens was fresh samphire cooked well with lemon, mustard and olive oil and salt. Just tasty and simple. Staff also really friendly and tolerated our terrible attempts at ordering in Greek, hope they're treated very well because staff this nice don't come often haha!
