Meno Male is a small and cozy restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere. If the weather is nice, you can sit outside on the sidewalk and enjoy the people-watching. The menu's no innovator - just comfort classics: pizza, pasta, and risotto. The food is well-executed and honest, but nothing special. The service at Meno Male is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive. Would I go back? Yes. Meno Male is a great option for a casual Italian meal with friends or family. The food is good, the service is excellent, and the prices are fair. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy Italian meal.

Overall, we enjoyed dining at Meno Male on a Friday evening. Service was the best we had in Athens and the space, although small, is well designed and cozy. The food is good. Some dishes are better than others like the zucchini, focaccia, and salads. The risotto was good, but not the best we had in Athens. Our six-year-old daughter loves the cheese pizza. Their drinks are amazing! We got a passion fruit drink that was a balance of sweet and sour. At the end, they brought us each a shot of limoncello.

Once again fantastic treatment at Meno Male! Great pit stop for refreshing local Greek beer on draft, great pizza* and pasta right behind acropolis metro station! Exceptionally kind, professional, carrying and happy staff (smth rare in athens)- superb service, delicious food at good prices! Casual atmosphere at the lively Veikou str! *Thin dough, quality over quantity! I recommend pizza tratufata bianco and green gin cocktails, Mamos beers for only 4 euros! Great experience every time! 😉☺️ Very clean and cared for place- joyous food! I wish to order everything there is in their menu …🙃😉

This place is sooo damn good. It’s underrated at a 4.6 Google review eating. We walked past the place twice during our stay and pinned it because we wanted to make sure and get dinner here before we left. So glad we did. It was pretty busy for late dinner so clearly a popular spot. Fortunately they were able to squeeze us in. We shared the tagliatelle ragu pasta and then a pizza with both prosciutto and salami. It was so much food for the two of us but so glad we did both a pizza and pasta because both were amazing. Loved the pasta. The meat was incredible and the noodles perfect. The pizza had great flavor and the crust was a nice cracker crust that was nice and light. The drinks are really good as well. Highly recommend this place and would love the opportunity to eat here again. Enjoy!

Penne tartufete pasta is out of this world!! So glad we ordered it. My kids got a Margherita pizza. We also ordered a caprese salad which was so good. The pizza dolce was very good as well! The focaccia bread with salt and rosemary was divine. Essentially everything was good! Prosciutto e funghi pizza was another one we ordered and just like everything else, delicious! Highly recommend!

I have nothing but good things to say. It's hard to express how much I enjoyed the pizza, it was so delicious. It's by far best I've tried in Athens, it tends to be difficult to find this style of thin crust here. You can tell the ingredients are high quality and the food is prepared with skill and care. I would recommend trying Pizza Meno Male, great combination of flavours! Overall the restaurant is small, but very comfortable and the atmosphere is spot on. I really enjoyed stting down here and chatting away. The staff was also very nice and professional.

I went with my two friends there for lunch, they welcomed us and found us a outdoor seating due to peak hours on Saturday. Despite the cold weather, the restaurant managed to get a heater operational so it felt good. We ordered Salat Romana, Risotto Fungi and Pizza Napoletana which were so delicious. The tastes, the quality - it all matched up to be beautiful meals. The staff was patient, accommodating and polite. They did not neglect to apologize for delay when the first dish was served a little late. All the time waiter was asking us if everything ok. I will definitely be back to sample the other tastes.

Spicy salame pizza is AMAZING! Me and my husband came twice. The second time they customized my half. We were doing laundry down the street and when we passed by with our clean laundry everybody eating outside had spicy salami pizzas and gnocchi. Perfection. Staff is nice. No complains.

We decided to eat at Meno Male because we were stopped in our tracks by the delicious looking pizza. We were not disappointed. We ordered the Meno Male salad, margarita pizza, and pesto spaghetti. It was all delicious!!! In fact, it was better than the food we had in Italy the week before. The food and service were wonderful. Thanks for a lovely Italian meal in Athens!

Excellent Italian flavors in the heart of the city close to Acropolis. Tartuffe pizza and pasta was amazing and caprese salad as well. Fresh Italian food ingredients. Cocktails list also good. Picante and green gin was fantstic. Dimitri on bar was one of the most funny and kindness person we met in Greece... Absolutely recommend!!! Update 10/22 amazing flavors same to our last visit. Sweet pizza was a poem. Update 04/23 Nioki and Bucatoni Amatriciana are the favs...

This place is probably not the best option for brunch. I haven’t tried the pasta or pizza so I cannot really judge on that. I ordered an avocado toast with scrambled eggs on the side , making sure it was ok with the waiter. They brought me fried eggs instead. When I asked about scrambled eggs , the waiter said I could scramble on my own 😂😂😂. Other than that, I enjoyed the place and atmosphere .

I had the artichoke starter and risotto fungi which were both delicious, however the tiramisu was quite tasteless and the risotto was priced €10 on the menu but I was charged €14 - that’s quite a big difference. Service was fine with one waiter but the other one was grumpy and unfriendly. The place itself is beautiful, centrally and atmospherically located and has a great vibe. Overall I’d say it’s overpriced in relation to the food quality.

Super cute, cosy, quiet place with nice ambiance. Very friendly staff. Delicious food. Pizza ( Prosciutto e fungi ) was excellent. Thin crust with evenly distributed ingredients. Milanese risotto was delicious. Everything that I saw coming from the kitchen looked mouthwatering. It’s a great place for a drink with a friend too.

Make a reservation if you want to sit inside but table outside are fine if weather is nice. It’s well worth any wait. Margarita Pizza with added mushrooms was outstanding as was the romaine salad and the pasta with some beef. All the good was extremely fresh tasting and even though it’s small inside, they didn’t cram in too many tables. Very highly recommend.

This was my second time at this place. It serves amazingly delicious pizza and today it didn't disappoint. I will visit them again for sure. The thing that was kinda bad was the attitude of our waitress. I get that she could have been tired etc but she could have been a little bit less snappish. Also, another waitress came and took the plates and everything away even though we were still chewing. Give us a bit more time next time, please.

If you know anything about me, it is that I seek out pizza wherever I go... Greece is no exception. I was worried because the box seemed light, yet for 9 euro I was not disappointed. This beautiful, thin crust, flavorful, Margherita pizza was perfect as a dinner for one. Now to find a beer to do it justice.

Great place, we went for the breakfast menu before heading onto to take a tour of the Acropolis. The service was quite quick, the food was very tasty - we had Greek scrambled eggs , a Caprese sandwich and a greek yoghurt, each of them were tasty and worth the price! The waitress was friendly, the ambience in the place is quite cozy! Worth the price, worth the taste, and worth for a quick stop en route the tour!

Wow! This place was very inexpensive and the food was very flavorful. The gnocchi was some of the best I've ever had!

Italian restaurant with special service. We wandered in with a big smile and ordered a drink until a place became available. A waiter with a big smile offered us the grounds of the restaurant. Excellent food and service at a different level.
