I was there for a live performance. The concert started 70 minutes later, than on tickets, trying to get people buy drinks from bar. Place is very shabby, poorly ventilated and smelly. Closed empty small hall, no sitting arrangement, bad acoustic, poor lighting, smoke of cigars everywhere, no ventilation.

This is one of the coolest bar/cafe concert venues I have ever seen. The vintage furniture and décor was absolutely beautiful. I want to return to Athens and experience a concert here. Coffee was excellent and the staff was great.

Stay away from this place at all costs. Last night, my brother was subjected to unwarranted harassment by their bouncer at this establishment. This occurred during a transition between events when the rooftop party ended, and patrons were asked to move to the basement stage. In a completely unprovoked manner, the bouncer openly threatened my brother in front of other people. It was not escalated, but the intentions were clear. Romantso is purported to be a safe and inclusive space, but this incident revealed a clear anti-LGBTQ bias, highlighting the flawed and insincere management approach. It's truly disappointing that such behavior is tolerated. Shame on all those involved for condoning such actions.

Good but pricey.8€ for a concert that started 2+ hours late. 16€ 1 mixed drink and 2 beers. Everyone smokes everywhere.

The place with it's old computers and screens adorning the walls, shows one how far we have come, the place offers great coffee and has a full range of drinks. The perfect place to spend a couple of hours getting some work done or sending off an email or two. The service is of a very high calibre.

Great local artists spinning dope tracks. Plenty of space to dance even when packed.The Funktion One sound system is a really nice addition. Also, there's a chill out area if you want to take a break but It's suggested you go out, since everyone smokes inside. Warm and non invasive people of all backgrounds makes for a diverse experience. Drinks are meh.. Entry Fee is OK.

The artists playing are very good. This place help aspiring artists, it organizes cultural events and exhibitions. It also need to be mentioned that when there are free exhibitions, they place pushy people at the entrance who ask you for a contribution almost as It is obbligatory. I was with friends visiting from Ukraine and the people at the entrance looked at them bad for 2 reasons: 1. They were not speaking un greek 2. They were not feeling comfortable with the minimum 5 euros donation. I put 5 euros and they looked at me like I was tight af. ADVICE: Remove these pushy people from free exhibitions and maybe you'll make more money. For nights in which music is played: I get the price of 10 euros for cover but then don't ask me 10 euros for a vodak redbull, when aircon is never turned on. Prices are high for what's offered, especially when only one floor it's opened. The crowd here is mostly queer and very welcoming, my trans friends felt comfortable and never felt unsafe. Unfortunately, there is no selection of people whatsoever, so they let in couples which will go in front of the dj kissing each others. PEEPS, IF YOU NEED TO KISS, HUG OR TALK DO NOT STAND WHERE WE WANNA DANCE, DANKE. PS. I'm a serial reviewer so please leave a like if I helped you out choosing or not this spot, cheers!

The place seems cool but why the heck is a basic beer 8.50€? This price is so unreasonable, especially given the local economy.

This place is amazing. All of it. Its stages, its terrace, its people. Romantso smells like Athens. Can't wait for the next amazing events there

Outstanding central Athens club with attention payed to the sound quality and the lineups. Beautifully designed as well. 3 stars go for the appalling bar service, people serving drinks need to get better.

Great meeting place and startup incubator in the heart of Athens, just next to Omonia Square. Have in mind that late at night, the are is not safe to walk the streets alone. Better take a taxi or be part of a group of friends.

After all these years, I give only two stars. You were there and you’re still till today providing a safe space for party but you don’t get out of your confort zone and you come off unfriendly a lot of times… you’re like a distant accointances that I’m happy to get news from aloof

Nice place. Their menu is not complete. For example they don't have cakes beside their coffee menu. And more important air-condition. Area is full of smoke of the kitchen.
