If you love quality coffee and design, order a drink to stay and sit outside on a chair attached to the small coffee shop or a wooden bench. My freddo latte was refreshing. The ice wasn’t overpowering and it didn’t even need sugar. The space itself is beautiful with a little loft on the second floor and plenty of outdoor seating.

Fabulous coffee. Sadly they didn't have the microlot in stock so will have to come back another time. The cinnamon roll was tasty. Iced cafe latte had the right amount of milk and the filter coffee from Burundi had a nice fruity nose. One worth a visit (or re visit)

This is where I tasted a "God shot". Their competition coffee, for those aficionados, are the utmost recommended. The staff and Barista were very warm, welcoming,and knowledgeable. There is nothing I could improve on here! Highly recommended

A perfect coffeeshop which serves his own roasted coffee and offers some speciality coffee. We visited the place twice and drank a very nice Origami Filter coffee and an americano. They sell their own coffee, some coffee equipment and have vegan options for a snack. We got served by a very friendly barista and enjoyed an awesome coffee time.

All the coffees we've tried were very good including origami hand brew, iced lattes and flat white. For buying coffee beans their selection was a little bit limited at their shop however they offer more through their website. One of the best third wave coffee roastries/breweries that I've tried in Athens. Highly recommended.

Stagnant Samba! After seeing so many independent coffee shops using Samba Coffee Beans, I wanted to come here and try it from the source! Unfortunately, the hype is more than the substance. Samba may have started a 2.5 to 3rd wave movement in Athens but it definitely hasn’t continued it. They’ve clearly gone corporate and neglected their cafes that should really be pioneering the 3rd wave movement even more. There are many independent coffee shops in Athens that are truly excellent and have left Stagnant Samba behind! Coffee - 7.8: a very average cup. The beans leave a little bitter taste. There is definitely strength in the cup but in terms of flavour there is very little. The microfoam is thick and collects at the top. Slightly better than the Athens average but not as good as the average speciality places.

Great coffee, can choose different beans for the espresso shot, customized options. Nice outside sitting area with high chairs.

2023. Same 5 stars review for summer of 2023. Was pleased to find the same professtional and friendly baristas. Competiotion level coffee! 2022. The absolute best speciality coffee shop and roastery Athens has to offer (me) in 2022! Welcoming and knowledgeable staff and excellent speciality coffee. Both light, but separate espresso and filter roasts. I only hope Samba will make available the great competition level coffees also to buy for home 🙂

Excellent coffee! Sympathetic atmosphere. Super affordable. Would totally recommend. Be aware that, when you order a take away cup you pay 0.05€ per paper cup + 0.05€ for the plastic lid. Also the non-dairy milk options are coming with an extra charge.

The coffee was good, however there is incredibly too much noise from the cars and scooters around, which makes it impossible to have a normal conversation. Hot chocolate was top.

I arrived at 2.45pm and waiting half an hour to get served a pork souvlaki wrap. Whilst it was tasty I didn’t think it was that special because I had had souvlakis in Athens that was just as tasty if not better. I certainly didn’t feel like the long queue was justified.

It’s the best coffee in Athens for sure 💯 Came here a few times during my trip to try the different single-origins and got to meet Kosta, the friendly owner on my last visit! Had a great conversation and he offered me a sample of the Rwanda Rugali, which was absolutely amazing!

Having tried flat whites at Dope, Kaya and all the places on Em. Benaki, the flat whites here were hands-down the winners, making them probably the best in Athens. Granted, Solonos is not the most beguiling street on which to sit outside and enjoy them, but you can’t have it all.

The coffee has excellent strong taste and those cinnamon rolls are to die for! Owner is really friendly and helpful!

You get coffee that is prepared the right way. The quality of the coffee is also very good. Sometimes you have to wait even for 20 minutes to be served but it is worth it.

Definitely a place for speciality coffee lovers. Pourover coffee was amazing! Lots of great beans available to choose from. Really cute setting as well and nice staff. Definitely a spot to check out in Athens if you love coffee!

Samba is one of the best places to get specialty coffee beans in Athens. I’ve tried all their Filter beans, each of them is fantastic. My husband loves third cold brew.

Except of perfect coffee and excelent brewing process, they are owners of extremly interesting espresso machine. There are just 3 pieces in Greece and not too many worldwide. I would consider this place as an hidden gem. Btw I stopped by just because I knew about this machine and I was shocked to see one in such a small, relatively hidden bar. Thank you!

Large menu with high quality specialty coffee and friendly baristas! I had to try the freddo espresso of course during the summer heat. There were many while bean and merch selections, as well.
