Still zero sense of environmental protection in 2023, unbelievable! Initially I asked if I can have the takeaway food in my own container, or if the bag can be reused by another customer if they can transfer the food to my container after the the payment. They were a bit annoyed and prompt me for the payment. After I paid, they were helpful enough to slide the food into my container, however the cashier lady threw the paper bag into the bin right away in front of me, and the weird smile on her face made me so uncomfortable. Here I hope those who forced a customer to waste an paper bag will be lucky enough not to run out of toilet paper one day, after they have finished their "great" business.

A very big sweets shop with great variety of tasty items. Looks kind of old, but is very very clean and comfortable. Most of the staff is friendly too, but the location, although a central one, is pretty unpleasant as a surrounding. I'd recommend consumption inside the bakery.

Iconic bakery chain (and more). This one is located in the Omonia square. We ate here almost every morning, since they have amazing sandwiches, coffee is really good and other pastry/sweets. The place is quite amazing since it has all the standard bakery products, but also pasta, pizza and some other dishes. The hosts speak English, menus are English, so it’s easy to order and get around. Prices are not the lowest, but very good quality/price ratio. Sandwiches are around 3.5-4€ and the cappuccino is 2€. Top quality bakery, which also did cooked food of a very high standard. Both my friend and I had the hot food selection one evening....... excellent service, very friendly and helpful. Tasty food, and an amazing selection of savoury and sweet delights.

A huge bakery with a vast assortment of different pastries from Baklava to hazelnut croissants. Their coffee is also pretty good. Further back you also have a pasta bar! The atmosphere is warm and cozy.

Really spacious bakery On Omonia Square, great selection or sweets: profiteroles, ice cream, pastry as well as pizzas, meals & coffee. Most of the staff aren't fluent in English, not even the basic communication skills were there, they couldn't explain the concept of the toppings and payment method. The guy making coffee was an exception, he was friendly and communicative. Coffee was good, profiteroles too.

Wow 🤯😳 With everything else that was wrong with our break, this place was amazing. So...to the young(well he was younger than me I'm 48) small moustache guy who served us, 6ft 1"... Outstanding service, welcoming and was always a delight to assist me and me family. To the young woman who served us hot chocolate, you are a star...always smiling, you knew the right dessert, the way you made the drink...may not be anything special to you, but there was care. The hot chocolate: let me start by saying... Do you remember when you had your first hot chocolate drink, thick, milky not too milk chocolatey, not too dark...it just, made you feel like Christmas all those years ago. One sip of this drink and you feel like it's your very first hot chocolate, hot... But not too hot, on a cold January evening...any stresses get washed away with a cacophony of memories back to when you sat in front of a fire and enjoyed your very first hot chocolate drink. The strawberry 🍓 pie /flan thing... Oh my, you naughty people for creating such a dessert. And then....they was the lemon meringue pie. I took one bite, the ecstasy was visible and the male baker smiled and clapped as in to applause my sheer appreciation of such a nice dish.... It's like the meringue you nan use to make "only on special occasions" then your mum made it and it was her "go to" recipe. Thank you, for your hospitality. Thank you.

Great variety of traditional breads, with great selection of coffee and coffee bean options! I was happy to have found this cafe while exploring the city. The staff and barista were very nice too. Crowd was a mix of tourists and locals. They also have meal options and I am hoping I could try them next time.

A nice corner in the middle of the well known district of Omonia! It is classy despite the location and the service is very professional. The products are very tasty and you have a wide variety of choices for your coffee. I recommend!

Nice bakery with sweet and savoury vegan options (pastries, cake, donuts, etc). Not marked as vegan (the labels with the ingredients are all in greek) but the staff is very friendly and will happily advise you on which options you can have

If there was ever a bakery that I might dream about, it would be this one. It's massive, filled with beautiful baked goods of all sorts, and affordable. We got 5 different pastries for €7 (currently $7.78 USD). In the states it would have been that much for two croissants. While we got cheese and meat filled boats, stuffed puff pastries, Baklava and little gooey donut things. We are planning more visits just to try more of the goodies. I will start uploading pictures on future visits Note: It is also a restaurant, so if you decide to eat there, go upstairs or outside and order through a waiter after getting a table. If you just walk up to the counter, they expect you to take the order to go...and not use a table.

This is a wonderful place. The cakes are delicious, especially the creamy ones served in a glass.The service is polite.

Amazing cafe with a huge variety of Greek treats to choose from, pastries, pizza, fresh juice, coffee & desserts. The 'Freddo Cappuccino' was delicious (iced coffee drink made from fresh espresso and frothed milk).

My phone got stolen from a homeless man while sitting INSIDE the restaurant. This is the second time my family and I got harassed by a homeless person while at the bakery. The manager refused to call police on the homeless guy. For how nice the bakery looks, their is not security to stop anyone from harassing people.

Clean, fast, fresh. I had breakfast there 3 times and each time got the same good service.

Went there at evening. Had a tiny chocolate cake, cheese pie, fruit shake, hot chocolate. Cake was fine, the "pie" cut in small pieces (why?), fruit shake ok, expected more from the hot chocolate - think it was instant. Prices we paid wherent the one on the menu, strange.... They serve the 500ml shake if you dont tell them which size you want. Prices were ok, but not for the hot chocolate 4,10€!! There is a security guard at the entrance due to the not so nice surrounding, but the bilduing/interrior is really nice.

Great bakery/cafe for a snack or affordable meal. Fresh sandwiches and pies, can't go wrong. The vibe is a big hall with savoury and sweet options laid out attractively in glass stations. You ask for what you want then take it outside to dine alfresco on some pleasant shaded seating outside, to enjoy the Athens downtown vibe.

The food was great, especially their greek pastries. We stayed at a nearby hotel and thus had the chance to try most of them 😀 The staff was absolutely charming : helpful and friendly at all times! Also, they spoke very good English, which made everything easier for us. Thanks to all of you!!!

This is the perfect stop for a delicious meal, sweet, or coffee. They have it all and an amazing staff as well. We stopped in ordered two sandwiches, two flat whites, two pastries, and two waters. Total was under $15.

I'm customer of this shop but last time, cashier woman counted a coffee 50cents more expensive than previous times and she did it deliberately. I wish she did just mistake and she is not racist.

The most tasty baklava I’ve ever tried. Huge variety. Many appetizing looking sandwiches, but I didn’t try. It’s a pity, that I’ve found this place at my last day in Athens. I think I would have been a good place for breakfasts.

Everything I tried in here was very tasty, they do use good quality products including president butter which makes the difference. You have lots of options from salty traditional pastry to all kinds of cakes. Also, if you want a good quality coffee, you have multiple choices, including organic coffee. The staff is very kind and welcoming, it is a spotless clean and luxurious bakery.
