😠 I have never experienced a worse stay. The only good thing of this hotel (or miniapartments, I do not know how to describe them) is its location. The rest of it is, pretty much, a nightmare. There is no service desk or counter, which means every time you have a problem (pretty often) there is no way... People often mention room, hotel, good, service, location, great, clean, stay, rooms, noisy,

I have never experienced a worse stay. The only good thing of this hotel (or miniapartments, I do not know how to describe them) is its location. The rest of it is, pretty much, a nightmare. There is no service desk or counter, which means every time you have a problem (pretty often) there is no way to solve it unless you wait hours until someone picks up the phone and comes by from another hotel to help you out. Moreover, the rooms and common areas are quite dirty, which attracts bugs coming out of the pipes of the toilettes in the rooms (including cockroaches). The access card was permantently broken, which meant that I was not able to access the building nor the room. Rooms are extremely noisy and you can hear the conversations in the hallways as if people was talking next to your bed. Besides all that, they would never accept card payment unless you book it through an external platfrom such as Booking, which I found quite untrustworthy. I really do not like to write bad reviews such as this, but I do not think any visitor in Athens deserves to live what I unfortunately lived.

Had a great stay during a long layover. The manager provided superb service and made our experience even better. It's close to all the spots, it's brand new and comfortable. It's a budget express hotel, so don't except full hotel experience. But for young travelers on the go it's excellent. Self check in and out processes, comfy, great shower and AC, 5 minutes walking to subway. Be mindful that a couple blocks in the wrong direction you end up in a sketchy neighborhood.

Nice room about a 5 minute walk from monastiraki square, I picked this place as they had 24 hour check in as it’s self automated and you collect your room key from inside the building, they send over instructions and there is a 24 hour phone line to ring (I did and very helpful), overall a nice stay and good price

The location was great, walkable distance from all center attractions, restaurants and bars. The room was small but pretty. Fresh linen, soaps, TP etc were provided. It was generally clean but our room had an ant problem. Other than that I have no complaints. Getting there and inside the room was easy and it even had some gym equipment on the ground floor if that's your thing.

The location of the hotel is good. Economy room: When we received the room, everything was good from the space and the things present. After 20 minutes, when we tried to sleep after a long travel, we discovered that the room is next to the elevator and the street, even whispers can be heard because there is no soundproofing in it. Sleeping in it was impossible, impossible, impossible We contacted the hotel and asked to change the room, and they agreed but they asked us to pay 50 euros to change the room with sweet room, we accepted because there were no other choice. In fact, the room was identical to the first room(the different part was that the room without noisy). But it was NOT sweet room. No service room to change the towels. A lots of mosquitoes in the room I regret booking this hotel

Horrible experience I've ever experienced before. They adopt an auto-checkin system which doesn't work at all. When we try to check in, there is no room key even though we followed what they guide to get the key sent via email. They in the end asked us to use another room for no explanation. In addition to the unfunctional checkin system, the room inside is underwhelming. No hot water and towel exchange service. I strongly recommend to avoid booking this hotel.

I was skeptical about the hotel being fully automatic. Since if something goes wrong, there is no staff around. But someone from the hotel met me to help me with parking in my arrival. Also, when I called for something else, the staff showed up within 15 minutes. My room had a window facing the main street. Big bed, good space in the room and bathroom. There is a safe in the room and all seemed clean. There is a private parking place right outside of the hotel. Being in the city center, you don't find it so easily. It costs 10€pr day. The hotel is pet friendly. That is also 10€ for the pet (i think it was the total cost, not for each day). Excellent location. In 2 minutes, you are in the heart of Psirri, and in 5 minutes, you are at the Monastraki metro station. it was the best choice by the time i booked the hotel. I definitely recommend it.

New hostel designed in loft character with nothing else but concrete walls and an android TV, safe and small fridge. Shower inside. Very clean. Highlight is the elevator that has a slightly irrational character and the rooftop view. Vending machines are empty.

Great central location close to Monastiraki, Plaka, Acropolis, and all the main sites. Located in the vibrant, lively, hip area called Psiri, with many choices for restaurants, bars and cafes. Room was clean and spacious. It had plenty of power points, good working air conditioning and fridge. Bonus is a roof top balcony with a view of the Acropolis. Great value would definitely stay here again.

We only stayed for a single night in Athens in order to visit the Acropolis. Finding a hote room with a view of the Acropolis was a real bonus - the roof terrace even more so. The hotel was excellent value, very clean and comfortable. An ideal base to see the historic parts of Athens. Lots of good places to eat a short walk away.

The Suite is spacious with great view in Acropolis and outer space! But as a Suite doesn't offer something else, the "jacuzzi" is just a bath tub and it is a little expensive 100€/per night for what provides. The w.c.has a glass wall which gives no privacy, the bed and pillow are great and the cleanness is medium. Another issue is that in the 4th floor there's no elevator, it's up to the 3rd. There's no reception and the lobby is messy .Also the location is totally central and walk everywhere! In general it was a positive experience!

I really wanted to like this place, for the price it’s quite good but some things that could easily make experience better. There are bright lights you can not turn off in the room, ie an exit sign? Which made for a difficult sleep, along with that it is very noisy on the ground floor. Easy check in and out process. Shower was a hand held without a wall fixture. Lobby is like a messy garage, strange. Bed comfy and good air condition and wifi. Decent without being great

When I arrived I was surprised by the building you don't know that this is a hotel, then I figured that it is an automated one. For me it was a new experience dealing with automation not good and not bad but a hotel without a reception and someone welcoming you isn't nice. Responsibles must know that there are uneducated people who don't know how ro read and wright and will always need help can't stay in such hotel, humans are necessary. As a location the hotel is perfect, 3 min walk from the restaurants and 6 min walk from metro everything is nearby, shower rooms are very tight but the rooms were renovated and clean, I give it a 2 star hotel

Easy check in and out, feels pretty clean, but rooms have no windows which is a little clastrophobic. The acoustic is very very bad, each door opening in our floor woke us up.

Fully automated hotel. Automation would not be a problem, but windowsless rooms were. Windows only facing inner space, Bathroom was as wet in the evening as I left it in the morning. Cleanliness was ok, although you have to request cleaning over the day. Windows to the inside also mean you get all the inner noise of the hotel. Wifi exists and works but moderately slow.

Dirty, smelly rooms. There are no windows. Extremely noisy area, room are not soundproofed at all. No staff at all and not available at all time like it says on their page. The idea of a self checkin-checkout is great but you can’t save on everything and give a better service. The location is very central, however extremely noisy and there were locals shouting every night. There is no security at the door and we saw people entering the building just to use the gym and leave, which means literally everyone can get in.

5 stars for customer service. Couldn't stay there, but they allowed us to cancel the reservation and issued a refund at the last moment. We had to cancel it because our ferry to Athens got cancelled due to bad weather. Much appreciated!

Fully automatic hotel. Room windows face inward to the hall or to some shafts with light two stories higher. Location very good. No service worked well. Cleanliness ok. Due to the room configuration some more air would be needed.

Our stay at Athensred.com has been rather disappointing, the room didn't have proper ventilation and natural light, it was like a capsule hotel (but more expensive). On arrival, no toilet paper was provided and we contacted the property and fixed it quickly. The housekeeping service has to be on request (opposite than advertised) and even after asking for it, it didn't happen until we complained again. The smell of the bathroom was awful. On top of it all it was super noisy
