Then Stray In Athens is a MUST visit. Avantgarde decor and unmistakably trendy, but it’s also not trying TOO hard, thanks to the “too cool for school” staff and unique drink combos. The “Hot List” cocktails are only available October-May and damn are they good. The “Burn My Shadow” is particularly unique—buttery rum and caramel tea with walnut bitters that make it feel like you’re eating the world’s best chocolate bar, melted and poured just for you 🥃 🎵 The music is loud but not too loud. The bartenders are friendly but distant. The lighting is sexy but everything is still visible. The art is street but curated. Everthing about this place is everything Noel and the surrounding hoity-toity bars are not; a fun, unpretentious experience with actually delicious cocktails. Chase the sun is officially my favorite cocktail and all of Athens. And while Les Djinns was not my thing, it was entirely because of the bitters, and not because there was anything wrong with a drink. And my wife completely loved it. When I heard that Chase the Sun wouldn’t be on the menu this summer, I ordered a second, without hesitation. The Love Rehab, a winter menu best seller, is “wow.” Truly unexpected—a spicy, complex, umami dream of strawberry and balsamic with chili and mmmmm. Bartender Giorgos is honest, unpolished, and damn good at his job. He stands by every drink on the menu because each were created with care. Come for a drink, stay for the night. Trust me on this one 😏 ♿️ Outside tables are high but not too high. Bartender will come outside to serve you. Bathroom is downstairs and not well lit. Two steps to get inside. Lighting is dim overall. Music is medium volume outside. They DO offer virgin non-alcohol cocktails 🍸🍹

Randomly came across this bar, had never noticed it. Pleasantly found out it opened recently, guess I found a new favorite bar for a night out in Athens.

We randomly crossed the neighbour street and we heard such a Good music, so we looked Where it comes from. This Bar has unbelievable cute Staff. We talked with the Manager and the blonde employee. Never Met so nice people! The Drinks are very good, the Toilets are hygenic and the vibe was cool. Thank you for this good night in your Club !!! If you wasnt there, you missed something.

We stopped at Stray on a Friday night. They had a DJ pumping great music, as well as a varied cocktail list. The interior is unique as the owner is a graphic designer and you can feel his touch throughout. We had great service and enjoyed each of the 8 cocktails our group tried. We’ll definitely visit Stray again when we return to Athens!

We came to this bar twice cause we loved it so much. Would come back 10 times more. The service is phenomenal and the drinks are unique and fun. So grateful to have found this place!!!
