About the only spot open on a Monday but what a great little cafe! Quick service and great coffee.

Lovely clean coffee/ tea. Cafe and we had a nice break here from our journey. The man who served us was polite and very helpful. We had lemon slices which were a little bit rubbery but their biscuit cake was delicious and their tea superb. Would recommend this establishment to anyone and it's on the square in Athlone and inviting to look at.

Just had 2 flat whites from here, some seriously lovely roast. Plus a latte for the misses! The young gentleman who owns and run its is the friendliest person you'll ever have the pleasure meeting. Clean well presented shop face, sweet finishing touches make it a pleasure to spend a relaxing morning (or anytime) in.

Ordered a mocha. It was tastleless and cold. Very disappointed. Not sure how they can have so many good review.

Stopped off on our way to Galways. Delicious coffee, yummy treats and extremely friendly staff! Will be back :)

Great spot for a coffee and toastie, the staff are amazing and are great for a chat. The atmosphere is super relaxing and inviting!

Great little cafe with a lovely atmosphere. Does the best toasties in town hands down and their coffee is up there with the best.

Nave is fantastic. I'm not sure what's best, their hot chocolate, their atmosphere, or their service. I also love the fact that they are a not a chain, provide space for locally made art, and have dairy alternatives. If you're in the area, checking out the castle, Luan Gallery, or the Cathedral; enjoying an afternoon down by the Shannon; watching the boats go through the lock; listening to (and tipping) our wonderful Athlone Bridge accordion player; or all of the above on a first date or 100th, or meeting a friend for chess, a hot drink from Nave will make it all the sweeter, warmer, and memorable. (I am not staff, or family of staff, and have not been paid for this review ;) )

Lovely brownie, coffee was delicious. Nice calm atmosphere with a nice view of the castle.
