Wow this is what I am talking about. Healthy and delicious food at reasonable price for the mass. This place needs to expand to more locations. Food - great selection of taste from Mexican flavor to Mediterranean focus. I will say it’s very simple and delicious. We have a few bowls to go and dine in. It’s better to eat here for warm food. Ambiance - imagine chipotle but very cut down version. This place isn’t that big There isn’t any line during lunch hour and I am surprised. Overall I will come back again if I live here.

Really wanted to give this place 5 stars. Food is delicious, healthy and quick. Portions are huge so you can eat off of one bowl for a couple days. However, about halfway through my bowl I crunched down on what I am hoping is a small piece of avocado pit but honestly feels like gravel… just happy I didn’t break a tooth. It may be a bit before I can give this place another shot… see photo.

Walk by this lovely place bright and colorful while waiting for the concert next door to start. Upon waking in a lovely lady name Keisha greeted me with a warm welcoming smile. She fix me up a bowl of food and got me hook on the coconut rice. We counted to talk, she's is what make small business restaurants worth going too. Thank you girl. "Emily" w/the blue hair 💙

My experience here was amazing! For starters I was greeted by Keisha and Allison. They both were very informative helping me decide which way my taste buds were aligning today. I ordered the “Don Diego” with my own little twist. There was enough food to share! Or maybe I just don’t eat much Idk but I’ll be eating all day! I always say the service of an establishment in a funny way makes or breaks the food! The way Keisha kept checking on me and her attentiveness was very warming! This experience was a 10/10 thank you Keisha and Allison!

Great food and great service. Highly recommend the Don Diego with Chorizo or the Dirty Bird. If you want something different, the Super Bowl with Tofu is phenomenal!

Tried this new spot in Buckhead. Easy garage parking just inside the Hanover building next to the Buckhead Theater to grab my food to go. Got the Notorious PIG bowl with chorizo. Really tasty and hearty. Lots of flavors and textures and enough food for two meals honestly.

I’m huge on leaving reviews and I have to say this place is the bomb!! The food is extremely fresh and VERY tasty. You get a good amount too very fulfilling. My boyfriend and I came across this place and it was so good we literally went back the next day. Keisha was amazing! very helpful and patient when I asked questions about certain toppings. The boss is extremely nice as well!! Definitely a 10/10. Will be back!

We came in Friday, July 7 & the food & atmosphere was very nice and clean. Keisha was very attentive & friendly. She was constantly moving and attending to customers both in person & for pick up. She deserves a raise for her hard work.

I just moved in near by and have ate here quite a few times, it has always been delicious when they prepare the food in front of me. Today I ordered Uber eats and it was not prepared the same as when you are right there. The toppings weren’t drained it was all watery and the chicken was one big clump with grissle in it. I had high hopes for this place but not tonight.

Saw this spot on an Instagram feature, have zero regrets about trying. Food was so good!! The bases are solid options and they don’t skimp on the meat like other bowl restaurants in Atlanta. The toppings are unique and so flavorful. I am not a vegan but am impressed by their vegan options. A solid to-go spot too. Will def be ordering here again soon.

I ordered takeout here the other night. I have Celiac Disease, so this seemed like a very safe option as some of their items are clearly labeled gluten free, dairy free, etc. I ordered the Notorious P.I.G., which tasted great, but caused me to have a really severe gluten reaction. This is a great place if you don't have any food allergies, but I'd steer clear if you have dietary restrictions.

Our go-to for delicious, healthy meals. The La Vega is hands down my favorite - the chicken is the absolute best chicken I've had from a restaurant like this, ever. The commitment to customer service is amazing whether you're ordering in the store or ordering delivery. We are big fans and so happy to support such an incredible restaurant!

Exceptional! The food is so fresh and flavorful. Wide variety of toppings for salads and bowls. I love to build my own bowl, but what they have on the menu is fire, too. This place is an absolute must! I’ve ordered it quite a few times on UberEATS, and it doesn’t lose its integrity during delivery. I visited the store in-person yesterday and Keisha was beyond delightful. She made my experience even better than I could have imagined! 12/10 for Recess and Keisha!

Recess consistently provides delicious, healthy food and wonderful customer service. My favorites are the Don Diego, Dirty Bird, and the spicy Brussels. Popped into the Buckhead location this afternoon— clean restaurant, great music, and Keisha was so friendly and helpful! Highly recommend.

Oh wow. Just had my first order here. It was “superbowl”. Very delicious! 🤤 Very fresh and each ingredient cooked with love. Big portions. You may have second meal with it. Gonna come back 👌🏻

Amazing food! Fresh, healthy, and unique ingredients with a lot of flavor! The service is friendly and welcoming. Great location for lunch on the go. Be sure to get some coffee on your way out at the walk-up window attached to the restaurant if you need a little afternoon kick :)

This place is so good. I found them on Uber eats one day when I couldn't leave work to grab lunch. I tried it on a whim, after spending a lot of money on a lot of disappointing lunches elsewhere. I was so pleasantly surprised. I tried the notorious P.I.G. with chicken and it was wonderful. The La Vega salad is also a favorite of mine. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for something out of the ordinary that is also healthy and delicious!

Came in to get some lunch and do a bit of work, and this was the perfect place! Food and service was fantastic, Keisha helped me decide (ended with with the don Diego and it was so good) and the atmosphere was exactly what I needed to catch up on work: quiet with a great playlist! Will definitely be back

Was attending a show at the Buckhead Theatre and was please surprised to find Recess. You can’t beat the location, service, or quality of the food. The resturant is extremely clean and inviting. Come eat here as soon as you can!
