My wife and I did an early dinner for ours anniversary. It was amazing I must say, we enjoy cooking together at home so needless to say we had so much fun being our own chef in the restaurant. Per my request is wanted roses and rose petals on our table a ling with candle lights. The staff was friendly and professional, the drinks can use more liquor. But our overall experience was amazing we will definitely go back with a larger group.

Lovely ambiance and great food. The staff were friendly. We took a four course for two people and it was quite filling. The dessert (s’mores) was very delicious.

The ambiance is lovely, drinks and food were great. I just wish the portions were more for the price you’re paying. But other than that, from service to the food dishes everything was good. My favorite part was the dessert. We got the S’mores fondue and it was soooo good. I think it’s the best that they offer on their chocolate fondue menu.

Had a great time for our 6 month anniversary! Everything was lovely. The meal was a little pricey for the average/basic atmosphere, but overall we enjoyed it and ate until we burst open because I couldn't stop eating the Wisconsin cheese fondue (my goodness i wasnt wxpecting it to be THAT good). Food and drinks were delicious!! I don't suggest going here if you're looking for a super fancy date night but totally for something laid back and casual.

Always a great time. Love to treat ourselves and do a cheese, meat and dessert course. Always leave stuffed! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and ensured we made our show on time.

This is a nice place to dine basically you're boiling your own food in a pot of broth. The front desk attendant Zerry escorted the table. The server didn't engage much until the end although I did hear her converse with another party. This was my first visit I was expecting a warm welcome, friendly communication and smiles the only person I encountered that seem to have great customer service which is the main reason gave a 4 was on behalf of the guy Nathan his spirit and concern to ask how is going so far? Are you enjoying your experience? Can I get anything? The last time he walked by he said I glad that you came. We need more of this kind of vibe in the field dealing with customers. Kindness , great customer service and quality products will always keep customers growing and coming back!

Setting is nice. Food is meh. Maybe I chose wrong cooking style? Got a mojo broth so basically I just boiled everything. I think batter fried or grilled would have been way better. Dessert was prettier than it tasted. Would've been better if pastries were warm.

We went to The Melting Pot in Midtown to celebrate a birthday as a group. I made a weeknight reservation for 7 PM. When we arrived we had to wait a little while to be seated even though the restaurant was almost completely empty when we got there (at our reservation time). They did put our party in a private room though without even having to ask so that was a nice touch! Overall I was pretty underwhelmed. I enjoyed the food and the experience of cooking the fondue was a fun change of pace, but the service was comically bad, especially given the price point. Some of the people at our table didn’t get their water refilled the whole 3+ hours we were there. The food came out so slow which didn’t make a lot of sense considering it was delivered raw to our table for us/the server to cook, so I’m not sure why it took so long. We were sitting unattended for long periods of time having to ask for refills and the check. We probably could have left a whole hour early if they were more attentive. Also on top of the spotty service, they charge an automatic gratuity of 20% for large groups. I totally understand auto tips for large groups, but industry standard at most nice places is 18%, and it’s a little much to ask for 20% for bad service AND cooking for yourself. Probably won’t ever come back but I guess it’s fun to say you’ve done it, maybe try a different location with better service though!

Our waiter "Bryan" (hope I wrote his name right) was amazing!! I do recommend him and The Melting Pot!! I never knew of the location till a co-worker recommended it... I will go back again sometime! Since we traveled a good bit to get there. "Bryan"!!! Continue doing an amazing job!! Thank you for being cordial, awesome and thoughtfully! I recommend you!

Food was delicious. It lasted longer than expected (4 hours) but we enjoyed it greatly! They’ve added so any new options since my last visit. It’s nice to see their commitment to growth and the gluten free allergy options are so impressive!

We went for a triple date for their Thursdate special and we had a wonderful time. It is a 4 course dinner for 2 and cost $55 per person. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. Our server gave us great suggestions and was very informative. It was the first time for everyone in our party and our server patiently explained how the process would go. The four course were absolutely delicious. The Quattro Formaggio cheese was amazing. And the dark chocolate with the dippers were great too. We will definitely be back.

If you’re going to spend anything over $30 a head, don’t waste your money. The food is lackluster and the atmosphere and service is horrible. Honestly, a shocking dinning experience for such a well known spot in Atlanta. I’ve never had slower and worse service before. I felt awkward and unwanted in the restaurant and will likely never dine here again- not even for free (waste of an evening). Save the time and miss this Atlanta eat.

I haven't been to The melting pot in 20 years. I took my wife or three year anniversary to the Atlanta location and it was absolutely magnificent. My server Brian was attentive to every need and I didn't have to ask for anything. The management can came by the table and introduce yourself and ask if we needed anything else for the evening. It was well worth $160 I dropped with tip on dinner.

The service and quality of the food is great, and the drinks are okay. Great ambiance and a good place to try something different. However, the portion size of the entrees are very, very, small; and the drinks are a bit thin on liquor.

This place is nice and all but I normally don’t leave a review but I think I won’t be returning back here. It was me and friend birthday and The Salad’s were small, You don’t get much food for the price, our waitress was acting money hungry and didn’t fully explain everything to us about the price all he cared about was the tips. When we about to pay he put it on 20% tip before I knew it was about to sign and pay and my friend left him 5 dollars even though she wasn’t really happy. He lied and said she didn’t tip him which she did and when I put the tip to 0 and paid a price that I think I shouldn’t had to pay, he going to ask “ what was wrong ?” I said nothing we was in a hurry to leave and he knew that and thought he was slick and I was about to leave he said “You didn’t tip” I said I know I didn’t, and he said well put your card back in and tip like what?????? Never again

It was a nice experience as before covid. From the cheeses to the chocolate, it was more than enough as usual. The one unfortunate part about my visit was that our server was also attending to a table of 20. So our courses were slightly delayed and our broth and chocolate were drying out. I gave it a 4 because the food was fresh, the drink was good and I got a chance to catch up with a good friend without being interrupted. Glass half full experience.

Good food, expensive novelty. Full dinner for two costs around $100+ but it is a unique experience with good food to go along. I don't see myself coming often due to my budget but as a fun experience this a great choice.

Delicious dining experience in a very nice setting. Was a wonderful romantic dinner for our 1 year wedding anniversary. The Smores dessert fondue was amazing! So smooth and creamy with lots of dipping options including pieces of sugar waffles, brownies, and of course strawberries. You really can't go wrong with any of the selections! I can't wait to go back and try the other amazing fondue options.

Our service/server was extremely slow and overworked. We could tell she was weeded. We sat for our 3:30 reso and was not greeted until 3:41. By 4:20, all we had was a single round of drinks and salads. We received the house mule - but not in a copper mug, in a glass. I can't say the entire restaurant was swamped though because the table next to us had a very attentive server that I saw every 15 minutes versus only seeing mine 3 times in the hour. Our food was fine once it was re-plated because it had shrimp on it when it was not supposed to. Our server brushed it off on the kitchen, okay, but check the food you're running. This was only a big deal to me because of a shellfish allergy. By 5 we ordered dessert, so did the table next to us. Guess what table was delivered first haha. We got ours 14 minutes after them although we ordered before them. I'm going to brush it off as we came on a bad day for our server and not call her name out but start to finish the visit wasn't great. It really sucks to feel like you have the weakest server on the floor whilst the table next to you is really having a great time. Go for dessert if anything, it won't disappoint! And the blackberry lemonade is great.

Here celebrating with my family their 21st anniversary. The ambience was very nice, the food was great, our server was wonderful as well as the staff. The thoughtfulness displayed to make their evening more special was "on point!" Definitely, I will come back. Thank you

We visited this location for a late Valentine's Day dinner. Neither of us had been to The Melting Pot in ages. We chose to get the Bigger Night Out meal. Overall, we had a fun and tasty experience. Our server was friendly and helpful. Surprisingly, one of my favorite food items was the Caesar salad. And, their house wine and garlic seasoning was very flavorful. It is a nice spot to celebrate a special occasion.

We had an amazing time here! If it’s your first time visiting, just know you will have to cook your own entree right at the table. Cast iron skillet is the way to go if you have never done this before. So yummy!

Came here while staying the night in Atlanta. Had a really good dinner and nice drinks. Food was very good. Interesting idea to cook it yourself but made the experience more unique and enjoyable. All of the meat was very fresh and tasty. Lobster tail was great. So was the fondue and chocolate fondue.

My husband and I went here 2 weeks ago for our 1st time. The food was very delicious, but it took a while for our server to come to us when we got seated. Drinks took a long time to get to us. But other than that our server was good to us. Showed us what to do since we've never done it before.

We came out for our anniversary and spared no expense. The Alpine cheese was delicious especially with the prosciutto on the charcuterie board. We followed that up by the big night out, cooked in coq a vin and vegetable broth. Coq a vin was a favorite, didn't care for the veg broth. Next time will go for the oil and tempura as a second option. Finished with yin yang chocolate that was delicious. The only criticism, one of our party has a shellfish allergy and the staff was courteous enough to move us to a table with multiple pots to prevent cross contamination. When the food arrived, however, shellfish was touching every other protein, I had to remind them of the allergy and they did remake the protein plates and separate the shellfish. Otherwise it was a romantic night out and will consider coming here again.

Very nice place. Outstanding food. It isn't cheap but the quality can't be higher anywhere else. The staff was stretched thin so the manager was waiting tables and ensuring everything happened smoothly. The meats and fish and veggies were amazing and the kids chocolate milk was the best I have ever seen. If you can afford it I would definitely recommend this place.

The Melting pot is a lovely restaurant for a nice, enjoyable fondue experience – and is especially popular for a romantic dinner couple date too! Reservations is advised, as this place gets very busy and booked fast lunch and dinner times. From when we arrived here, we were greeted by the front desk lady. All the servers and employees here were very knowledgeable and attentive to their customers, and I definitely felt this first-hand. Our 2 servers knew everything from the menu, answered all our questions and explained how the process worked for each step of the meal. The menu can be quite overwhelming with the amount of options they had for the sauce and cheese, but we were well-informed of them all and given recommendations on what to choose based on our taste and preference. The dessert meal was the best part for me, of course, as we had the opportunity to dip fruits, marshmallows and other sliced snacks into melting chocolate – Yum! There is also unlimited refills and seconds too, so eat as much as you want for what you selected! The environment was dimly lit, which made a very calm and relaxing atmosphere with it’s neat and tidy decorations. The only downside is that eating here is pretty pricey. The 2 person dine-in combo costed us over $100. Nonetheless, it is a must-try for any family and couples wanting to try the fondue dinner experience!

Great experience and wonderful food. Came for our ten year anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had to wait about 30 minutes past our reservation time but everything else was smooth sailing. Our waiter was knowledgeable about all our options and we enjoyed everything.

I had such a fun experience here celebrating my birthday with friends! Don’t listen to the reviews saying that the portions weren’t big enough, it all depends on how much you’re used to eating on a regular basis. We couldn’t even finish it all. Our server Robert was awesome, he was attentive & gave great recommendations for all the courses. The restaurant is pricey but totally worth it.

Four of us came here for our Daughter's birthday. We ordered one cheese fondue, and were charged for two. Ordered entrees, no problem. Ordered one chocolate fondue, were charged for 2! When we brought this up afterwards, we were told that sharing was not allowed, and since the cheese and chocolate can feed two, we were charged double for each. We were never told that we were not allowed to share (which is RIDICULOUS, by the way), and that even though it did not say that one the menu, it was "understood." By whom???? They did end up taking off the double charges though. Also, the menu says that an automatic tip of 18% is included on all bills. But when we received the bill, it was 20%. Not that much difference, but when we mentioned it to the manager on duty, she stated that the menus are printed up by corporate, but they can charge what they feel they need to! And in the end, they still charged us tax and tip based on the bill BEFORE taking off the double charge!! We ended up recalculation it and paying the CORRECT amount. The manager argued with us that we can't do that. I said to do the math, that they charged us incorrectly. And she just kept saying, "No. Nope." She wouldn't even check it out herself, just ignorantly said no. All-in-all, such a disappointing end to what should have been a joyous occasion for our Daughter's. We will never be back.

We love to come here for special occasions. The atmosphere is perfect for an intimate dinner date to truly connect with your loved one. The staff is always friendly and helpful with the menu. The only downside of our recent visit was that our favorite dish, the quattro formaggio, is no longer available. However, it was made up for by strong drinks and excellent service by Ms. Charlie. She even brought us a special dessert to celebrate the occasion.

I have never had fondue but the melting pot made sure that my first time having it would be nothing but unforgettable! The food was outstanding and our server was beyond great! Her customer service was outstanding! She walked us through the process and every step of the way she had a smile on her face and kept us laughing making sure we had one two mind you it was only her second day! If she didn’t tell us that I would’ve thought she has been there for years! Thank you for the BEST birthday dinner I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to be back!

Parking is not on the premises. You would need to seek parking and various lots change various per hour fees. The selection of food and choices of herbs, spices to cook or fondue is good, non and alcoholic beverages are served.

Came in with the family for my brothers birthday. Staff was incredibly patient, and explained things well(many of our group hadn’t been before and wasn’t sure how the menu worked). Everything was amazing, and the experience was incredible. A staff member even took our picture for us outside the restaurant. Would suggest for anyone looking for a way to celebrate a special occasion(with money to spare).

Absolutely enjoyed myself! We had a wonderful time! The food was delicious, the experience was lovely and our server Mike was the best... even tho he's a Leo 😂. We were the last ones and we weren't rushed at all. Instead, we got to enjoy our evening for it's entirety. Definitely will be returning. Thank you to everyone for ensuring we had a great night!

We went to the Melting Pot recently just before going to the Fox Theatre to see a show and we were very impressed with the entire evening. I was not sure about the whole concept at first but once the four course meal began I was much more comfortable with the process. The food was great and the atmosphere was perfect. We will definitely return soon.
