I saw Halsey: The Love & Power Tour here on 06/30. Relatively easy to navigate venue, great sound, premium parking was $50 but worth it to avoid parking in sketchier areas. I really couldn’t have imagined parking anywhere else. I didn’t worry about my vehicle being broken into during the show (or having to walk back to it after the concert) in the premier parking. Very pricey, I’ve never paid that much for parking anywhere in my life, but I’d do it again. The show itself was incredible. We had average priced seats that still had an awesome view. A thunderstorm started about halfway through the concert and the venue handled it very well, moving people from the lawn underneath the amphitheater just long enough for it to pass, and then moved people back out to the lawn for the show to go on. We weren’t kept waiting for any longer than necessary. Least favorite part was trying to leave. Traffic was an absolute mess both at and directly outside of the venue. There was absolutely no direction and it was a free for all, everyone trying to leave at once and getting stuck in traffic right outside the venue for well over half an hour. I felt like security was pretty standard but nothing exceptional.

Had a great time on 6-30-22 seeing Halsey. There were plenty of staff and security around, I felt safe. One tip is to park in the venue FREE parking lot. It's not a far walk and you can bring some chairs and hang out and have a few drinks before you go in. I will definitely do that next time. Drinks are very expensive inside!! I just put in Lakewood Amphitheater free parking into my GPS, it took me right there and there was plenty of space available and we were late getting there.

Concert was great. Saw Fall Out Boy and they put on a great show. But we have been sitting in the shown position for over an hour now and simply haven’t moved. Simply try to avoid coming to shows here at any possibility.

Probably the most disorganized venue, specially for ticket entering. Waited over 4 hours, just so they could open the doors and let everyone run in like savages. I do, however, love this venue. It’s very small and general admission lawn tickets are really good. Sounds amazing even from outside the venue (for the people who waited hours after gate opened and still missed part of the show) There plenty of parking.

Wild N Out Tour - first time here and there’s many concession stands to buy drinks and food. There’s even some on the lawn. You can rent chairs for lawn seating. Had a great time!

Visited here for Post Malone s concert. Love how organized the check in process was. It was clean and had sanitization stations everywhere. The restrooms got really crowded though. The lawn area seemed nice. We opted for seats 5 and 6 in the 207 section and had a great view of the stage. The only reason why I gave 1 star less is that in spite of the no smoking sign, a lot of them were smoking.

Attended the Royal & The Serpent, Bring Me The Horizon, and Fall Out Boy Concert last night. I was impressed with the security staff as they were well trained on how to assist the disabled community, process me in through security, provide assistance and support, and went out their way to ensure everything was accessible enough so I could enjoy the concert. I will say if you have a service dog its not ideal to bring them to a concert here as its very crowded, its very loud, and its hot. However, there is ample room in the accessible seating should you decide to bring them. Also, be forewarned you are required to have vaccination records, etc. just as if you were traveling on an airplane. I did not bring my service dog with me to the concert and was glad I did not as he would have been miserable the entire time and likely would have been stepped on when traversing the open areas. Suggest bringing a friend or family member with you instead to render assistance as needed. There is ample handicap parking, but you will need to purchase Reserved Parking and then notify the parking attendants and security attendants you need handicap parking upon entry to the parking lot (Gate 1 on Pryor Road). There is ample food and drinks available for purchase, ample bathrooms, and emergency staff is onsite to render aide if needed. Pictures shown are from the accessible seating area in Section 207 which is under the canopy of the amphitheater and just behind the VIP Seating.

Great venue. Nice amphitheatre. Saw incubus and sublime. Wonderful show, sound was awesome. Seats were a little restrictive in the covered section. Made it difficult to get to and from your seat. Glad we were closer to the aisle. Very enjoyable show overall and will return to the venue when another good show comes along.

The sound and bands were fantastic, the VIP area is a waste of money it is just lawn seats that aren't even that good. I had bought general admission lawn seats myself and it was an amazing venue to watch a concert, the sound coming out of the amphitheater is beautiful. I recommend buying a seat up near the front if you want to see the band really well you are a little far away from the lawn. Everything is extremely expensive but that's the same at every event.

Went to see Simple Plan, Sum41, and The Offspring. For a little extra, we got Premium Seats and Premium Parking. The extra ended up worth it to us. STAFF TREATED US GREAT! The bands were all good, and the weather ended up perfect! We were under cover with huge fans providing good air movement, and the temperature started in the low 80's and dropped to the mid to low 70's. Crowd really was into it, which definitely add to Everything!

The R&B fest should have been a celebration of culture and companionship but instead was an exercise in capitalism (AND PATIENCE). We pre-paid for VIP parking, but it costs just the same on arrival. The lines for concessions were not only long - to be expected - but incredibly slow. Staff weren't knowledgeable about seating arrangements, but we walked around until we figured it out. The show was more than 2.5 hours behind! Throughout the show, there were multiple instances where the audio abruptly cut or was incomplete (missing drums, singers, Etc). Intermissions were upwards of 30 minutes in between sets. Then after waiting for hours for the headliner THEY ABRUPTLY ENDED THE SHOW IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SET!! Traffic exiting the venue was not managed by anyone. It was completely jammed for far too long.

Epic failure by Cellairis and Live Nation on VIP Parking presales. Was in line two hours to get to VIP parking. Not enough staff to handle the influx of traffic. Missed so much of the concert. The amp is old, no upgrades to the facility, still utilize port a potties, and more. Will not be attending any future concerts at this location. Sad.

Great experience for shinedown and papa roach last night. I recently torn my Achilles Tendon and was in a wheelchair. Thank you to all who took great care of me. My only complaint was the over priced parking. Especially after paying for a premium ticket.

Great experience paid for parking online it was easy great experience only thing is the food and drinks were crazy expensive. No cash, bring a card. If you did bring cash though, they do have a place where you can give them cash and they can upload it onto a prepaid card for you to use in the venue

the staff here are very neglectful. my mom had fainted earlier due to dehydration and the ems were the only helpful people there but while she was in first aid the staff there were making fun of her and taking pictures/videos of her?? a lot of crazy intoxicated people in the pit hitting each other and the staff doing nothing about it despite everyone asking for them to be removed multiple times. not enough water given out and nobody seemed to care either. at one point one of the openers walked into the crowd near the lawn and staff allowed people to run up to him and follow him and touch him which caused a lot of unnecessary confusion and stress for a lot of people because someone could have gotten seriously hurt.. worst concert i've ever been to and it's all due to the employees and their lack of concern and attention to detail.

The food and drinks aren't even the problem here. The seating is extremely outdated. They give you cups with no lids but the seats don't have cup holders. And what's the point in having seats if you can't see because people in front of you are standing up the whole time. The seats to slop more or something needs to be done. Also when the concert was over at 11pm we were stuck in grid lock in the parking lot for an hour and a half. Nobody was helping nobody was directing traffic it was terrible and unprofessional. I would never comeback here again unless it's literally my only option to see something I won't be able to see anywhere else.

Nice outdoor venue with a large lawn area and a comfortable, covered seating area closer to the stage. Acoustics are great and plenty of concessions and restrooms are available too. HOWEVER... During a recent visit to see an A-list band, the parking situation was an absolute nightmare. Prepaid "premier VIP” parking guests actually had to sit in traffic the longest and park farther away from the entrance gate than everyone else. The long wait and longer walk actually cost us more than general admission parkers. Even some of the staff acknowledged that is was ridiculously mismanaged. To compound the problem, ATL police partners did very little to alleviate traffic near the venue. A nice couple next to us arrived outside an hour before the show started but sat in traffic at the venue for more than two hours, missing everything before the first set break. Lots of other frustrated guests stated that this has happened here multiple times in the past. Adding insult to injury, the bag policy was not posted anywhere online - which the staff acknowledged - but it was still strictly enforced. Trying to plan in advance, we condensed our stuff into a small bag that would be easy to search. However, after walking a long distance from premier parking and waiting in line to go in, we learned only transparent bags were allowed. They gave us a choice...walk for a half hour round trip to put the bag in our vehicle or throw it away. We were very fortunate to find a kind staffer with a golf cart willing to give us a lift. Unfortunately the experience will prevent anyone in our group from ever returning to the venue. It was not clear if it was the Amphitheater company’s fault or the on-site venue management company, but either way Cellairis needs to do much, much better to earn our business again. Sorry for the bad vibes in this review but hopefully it will prompt the venue to provide a better experience to future guests. Please be kind always! ☮️

The amphitheater is such a fun place to see a show, but the parking situation is a completely different story. We have been sitting parked in our spot and watched 3-4 cars drive by us in the last hour+. For $40 to park, you would think there would be a better planned entrance and definitely a better exit. Drivers are laying on the horns, tempers are flaring.

Large purses not allowed! Tiny purses/bags/waist pouch, or clear bags only! CLEAR BAGS maximum size =12x6x12 VERY SMALL PURSES or waistpacks Maximum Size =4.5" by 6.5" (Trying to make sure other ppl don't have to walk your stuff back to the parking lot like we did, or if you take Uber you'll have nowhere to check your bag) Had a good time at Black Crowes/Dirty Honey. Nice friendly staff.

Saw Post Malone here 💗 told my sister that every Posty concert is always a great vibe & happiness to it. It did not disappoint. Loved the venue, from parking, tickets, security & other concert goers it was a 10 of 10. Did premiere parking to not walk a ton. Love ❤️ highly recommend going to this venue!

The venue was great! Amazing lights! Amazing, awesome, friendly staff. Good ADA section for the lawn. However parking was awful. Not enough parking attendants to direct traffic. AND the ADA lot was GRAVEL. Ever tried to push a wheelchair through gravel?

The show was amazing. These are pictures from my phone from the worst seat in the place. I was against the back wall and still could see and hear the show and have a great time. For being one of the most rundown venues in the metro Atlanta area the prices can be some of the highest. The prices at concession are worse. Trying to actually get here because of traffic was a nightmare. For some reason the police will send you to illegal parking lots before the concert when they are directing traffic. Leaving... even early, took us an hour to get out of the parking lot. The police will direct traffic before the show but not after. I guess the don't get a kick back from the parking lot for after the show.

Had a great time here for a show, was convenient to get in and out of the venue - place was clean and well staffed, felt safe but we were not barked at like cattle - a big win for a 30,000 person event! Smooth operations.

Wonderful wonderful venue!!! There are covered seats and uncovered seats. The venue is accepting no cash at all. So be prepared for that. The staff were super helpful and friendly and patient with all the shenanigans they had to deal with. I would definitely come here again for another concert.

We saw Earth, Wind, & Fire and Santana play here. It is a great venue! We got VIP tickets and it's worth the upgrade. Waiter takes your orders and you have room to get up and dance by your seat. Seats are nicer too and because you sit up higher, the people in the crowd standing in front of you don't block your view while you stay seated. I recommend paying for parking as the parking situation outside the theater is terrible.

Kansas and Lynyrd Skynyrd for my first visit to Cellairis Ampitheater. Great layout for the concessions and merchandise booths. Bathrooms are decent and crowds were able to move quickly through them. Great view of the stage from section 205 and I feel I can still hear. Looks like it would be a great view from any location including the lawn.

Saw Fall Out Boy and the venue was so cool! We sat under the covered seating and the sound was great! On the website, it says you can't bring in unsealed bottles of water, but they let me bring mine so that was cool.

My favorite outdoor venue. Long lines to enter but they move pretty quickly. Longer lines at swag counters and vendors for sure. They have both open lawn as well as seating under a large overhang closer to the stage. I highly recommend the pit if you’re seeing one of your favorite bands, you won’t regret it.

This place is AWESOME! We were there to watch KISS and we had VIP seats which included a waitress and let me tell you that that is the way to go! The bathrooms are not hard to get to at all! It was a great experience and I would love to go to more concerts there!

Went to attend the Maverick City concert. The performance was exceptionally good and it was such a wonderful, spiritual experience. However, the security there at the time was uncoordinated and disorganized, as we were told to wait by the entrance, only to be sent back to another entrance further away to stand in the hot sun for about an hour.

The staff was AMAZING. My experience was just that much better in Atlanta because I felt that we were Welcome. The walk in from lot A to lot C going around the venue my favorite, but I love the smell of the air and it's pedestrian friendly. My second time here and I'm leaving for home happy

The venue has been around for a very long time and you can tell. I would love to see some acoustic upgrades for the lawn with cheaper price on the beer. $17 for a tall seltzer beer is way too much. It would be great to have some external screens as well directly for the lawn... Weather it be on top of the amphitheater or on the sides.

  • 4/5 Merrilee R. 2 years ago on Google
The venue was really nice. We sat on the lawn which was pretty good seats. I gave it 4 stars because they have a covid policy that you need a negative test result within 72 hours of the event if you haven't had your shot 2 weeks before. This is not easy to do. They offered test on site but they were not prepared with enough test at the gate we were at. This cause a bit of stress wondering if we would be able to attend the event.

It has been a long time since I last came to this venue. The sound is still great bouncing off the high walls. The concession area was ok. The bathrooms aren't great but understandable considering how long these facilities have seen use. The main stage is a little small. The isle seat only had cup holders. Security is relaxed.

This venue is the WORST. We got I. Line at 6:30 for a concert we had at 8:00. The line grew and grew and we never moved. They started letting people in at 8:00 and delayed the concert 30 minutes. There were MANY people, including us, that did not get to see the full show. This was very unprofessional. I will never be returning to this venue. The professionalism was absurd for a venue that knew the show was sold out. We did not enjoy the experience and left feeling extremely angry, annoyed, and sad. We had been waiting to see this band since we were 12, very disappointed in the staff managing this venue. I will never be returning.

NY STATE OF MIND TOUR: Everything I hoped for and more! First time seeing NAS, Wu-Tang & Busta Rhymes and it will not be my last!!! The seats and atmosphere was great. Parking was a beast, but that was to be expected. Great experience, and I would definitely come back to Lakewood Amphitheater.

Awesome experience! Been to Lakewood for a few shows now and have yet to be disappointed. Merch/concession lines were quick. Men's bathroom might could use an update, but that's about it. Great venue! Can also recommend premier parking and fast lane tickets, may have been part of my reason for short lines inside the venue.
