Woofs is a great place to hangout, watch sports, and eat some delicious food. I was there recently and ordered the blue burger and it came out perfectly cooked. The bacon on top of it was nice and crispy but not too overdone. The tater tots were also crispy and there were a lot of them. If you’re looking for a gay friendly place to hangout with good food, check out Woofs.

It's mostly a gay and lebsian sport bar, it's a great place to watch sports. The staff is great, and the food is really good.

I'm not sure if we came on an off day but there wasn't much gender diversity that I could see and no one seemed interested in serving us it seemed because we were women. Like I said, maybe an off day but we had to leave because no one wanted to serve us and they were serving every male group after us. If you're going to make a queer space, it has to make ALL queer people feel included. I was very disappointed since we were very excited to check it out since we were women of an lgbtq sports club

Had dinner at Woofs for the first time this week. I never expect much from bar food, but Wow! Woofs is a step above average bar food. Delicious! I had the Cuban sandwich with Cole slaw and Caesar side salad. The salad was amazing. Dressing was strong, garlicky in a good way with shaved parm. One of the best Caesar's I've had. Cuban was fantastic! Love the vibe. Gay friendly sports bar. A lot of bar seating with lots of TVs. Staff is friendly and the drinks are heavy pours! Roy is the best! Lots of regulars. Pretty spacious inside. The amount of cars outside made me initially think it would be packed, but it wasn't. Definitely busy but no problem getting seated. Will definitely go back. Can't wait to try different food!

This is an exceptionally well run bar/restaurant. The owner/management should be giving Ted talks on how to run a sports bar with vigilant customer service. It’s in a bit of an obscure location, but just may be one of the best places in the South.

Don’t eat the food! I’ve been to Woofs multiple times, even back when they were at their old location on Piedmont. However, after my most recent visit this weekend I won’t ever eat there again. While using the restroom and while I was washing my hands one of the kitchen staff came out of the bathroom stall after flushing the toilet and just walked out without washing their hands. First we’re in a pandemic and second that’s just disgusting. Period. Even if you’re not cooking the food, wash your hands after using the restroom. Not to mention that it’s a clear health violation. Disgusting. I’m okay drinking here again but I won’t ever eat the food again.

The host at the door was very nice. I didn't catch his name but was a older black man. He told us about the new location. Told him I hadn't been here in years. I liked the new location.

The atmosphere was so calm and spacious (I went at lunchtime) and the mixed Blackened fish and jumbo shrimp was divineee. Total was $19.25 (they charge extra for sauce). Sides are roughly $1.95-$2.25

I have really bad social anxiety and I can say the atmosphere really put me at ease and I had a great time tonight. I sat at the bar by myself and I didn't feel like I was out of place or like anyone was judging me. Everyone was cool and friendly and the drinks....tuh..they understand the art of the pour. Highly recommend 😎😊

Always loving coming to Woofs. Always friendly servers and bartenders. Drinks are great, awesome selection. Parking is a bit of a mess, get an Uber/Lyft or carpool. If you park at the gas station next door it's not a problem, just remember to lock your car and hide your belongings. Great place for gays and allies. 🏳️‍🌈 Recommend the shrimp basket!

I shouldn’t have to wait 10 minutes after being sat to order a drink or have someone come great you period. And oh, BTW don’t bother coming in with a service animal because this place makes its own rules when it comes to the ADA. Super funny considering it’s a gay bar.

This place is a little slice of heaven. Everybody is so nice, the food is delicious, they've got tons of games on, including a few women's games which I hugely appreciated. Awesome, awesome joint!

Used to love coming here weekly. The food was always on point and the service super welcoming. However the quality of the food has noticeably gone downhill the last year, and me and my friends have all noticed it. I used to love their tenders and now they’re paper thin with a horrible breading, the food overall is greasier than it used to be. The prices have remained pretty much the same despite the inflation of the last couple of years, so I get that it’s a choice they have made to prioritize price over quality and I can understand that. But, honestly guys - increase your prices a buck or two or three and bring back the ole woofs quality! Still love the servers but it was great having a host before handling the tables, now it’s seat yourself which on a typical busy night is not the easiest. Sad that this place isn’t really an option we consider anymore.

I wish there were more establishments serving up the same atmosphere as Woofs. For someone not really into the standard bar scene, Woofs was the perfect medium for our group of friends. The vibe is laid back with no obnoxiously loud music blasting- you can have conversations with your group at a regular speaking volume. The host gave a great first impression and our bartender was friendly and prompt with service. Can’t wait to watch all of my favorite games here!

  • 4/5 Peter P. 2 years ago on Google
Had all the games on. Service was exceptional definitely will go back on a big game day. Can get busy come through early! Parking gets tight

We were only there 15 minutes and it was the worst. We order to go and the bartender Dan rushed us out and it’s 1 in the afternoon. We paid for food we did not receive, when we realized it we didn’t even want to go back because he was rude.

  • 5/5 Hunter H. 2 years ago on Google
Great place with a casual atmosphere plenty of sports on TV and a good selection of bar food. The staff however is what really makes the place terrific

  • 4/5 L. B. 5 months ago on Google
It's a LGBT+ sports bar, so lots of points for having an inclusive bar for the community. As for service, food, and beer selection, it was a bit disappointing by Atlanta standards. I'd give it a second shot though.

  • 5/5 T S. 3 years ago on Google
Excellent experience. They checked our temperature at the door and the seating was spaced safely. The food was excellent and at a great price. Fresh, hot and fast.. The drinks were strong but good. (No, seriously, they don't skimp). Excellent service and multiple parties took care of us. Our server, Johnny, was attentive, funny and very helpful. There were multiple tvs. If you're a real sports fan, you are going to have choices. I am not a real sports fan but I still enjoy the vibe of one. We really enjoyed ourselves. I will be back!

4.5 stars. Initially I had reservations about what I was going to encounter, entering. Firstly, the parking is not enough for the amount of people who visit. I parked in the Shell gas station so not much of a walk. I've seen people parking under the bridge on top of the curve or further down parked on the street. As I entered, I enjoyed the buzzing of conversation and the multiple tvs for sports. Since I was a party of one, I'm always feeling awkward about seating. I was able to secure a bar seat on the far corner right next to the game that I wanted to watch. The bartender, an older male, took care of me although I was quite low maintenance and he even gave me extra tater tots, guess I didn't have many to my meal to begin with. I appreciate that gesture because they could have not even bothered. The value of the meal was spot on and plenty for me. The drinks, competitively prices compared to the area, had a generous pour. Honestly, I liked the clientele. They were mostly older and coupled up. Unassuming. I'm actually more at ease with older men than men my age. I liked fading to the background and was checked up on at the right time to request my bill. I would visit again. Thank you.

Got a good sneak peak at their kitchen and I’m ashamed to say that it is roach infested!! I don’t think these people are gays and take the least care of us since their kitchen is toxic and refusing to feed me after getting me a lil drunk and kicking me out on the way to the restroom

I was so pleasantly surprised by their food. Most of the time sports bar food is just OK but their food was very good and fresh. French dip was GREAT :)

  • 5/5 Ariel T. 3 years ago on Google
The beef philly cheese 🥩 is fine and the sweet tea is really sweet. If it wasn’t the call for my supper hunger and the high E.Q. service of Mr. Taylor, I would probably give the food three stars. I see his compassion by the way he moved and treated me like a friend by adjusting in my situation and checked my sanity from time to time 😹. People are nice in there and I felt I wasn’t been insulted with my gross snobbish gayness. I have never heard someone says, “fag” or “gay,” which I pretty much encounter in parts of Georgia. Come back to restaurant? Definitely! 😸

Servers are rude and only cater to the white gays. When you ask for information all you get is attitude. I went here to celebrate my bday weekend and watch the football game. Will not return. The only nice thing about this bar was the bartender. There are better bars to go to than this place. Go at your own risk, but don’t be surprised if you get nothing but attitude.
