😐 As a Viet person, I have had better banh mi and pho than this place serves. My grandma literally owned a pho restaurant in Vietnam for 30+ years now. I am not going to compare this pho/banh mi to what you find in Vietnam, but rather what they have here in the metro ATL area. Is it the best Vietnames... People often mention order, love, good, ordered, delicious, Vietnamese, taste, broth, meat, rice,

As a Viet person, I have had better banh mi and pho than this place serves. My grandma literally owned a pho restaurant in Vietnam for 30+ years now. I am not going to compare this pho/banh mi to what you find in Vietnam, but rather what they have here in the metro ATL area. Is it the best Vietnamese you can find on this side of town? Sure. Once you step into Buford/Duluth/Chamblee area? Not even close. Personally, the pho is very light flavored. The banh mi is super simple tasting. The tea wasn’t really sweet and definitely had more half and half than it normally has. Overall, would I eat it if I was hungry and in a pinch for Viet food? Of course. Is this my favorite Viet place to eat and recommend to anyone who wants to know what Viet food tastes like? Probably not. If you want authentic Viet food that is going to blow your mind? There are plenty of places around Chamblee and Buford that is perfect for you. If you just want something quick and easy on the way to class and can’t be bothered about taste as much, give this place a shot.

Food was sub par. I’ve been to their other location and loved it. The quality of the food itself was lower than I expected. I love Vietnamese good but I straight up didn’t enjoy it. We ordered to go so it might have had to do with it but the quality shouldn’t diminish because of that

Pho broth was excellent. Perfect level of spice with prepackaged condiments to add more to your heart's content, not too salty or too fatty. 13.95 got me a ginormous bowl of steaming hot pho with flank steak strips. Hallelujah there's still decent deals in this town. All dinnerware was disposable, I guess a good thing in these times.

Tasty food, cozy and clean shop, great customer service. The fresh lemonade was delicious. I ordered the well-done beef pho and it was also delicious. I'm happy I got to try this place.

As pho places go, this place is great! It’s got an awesome loft area and everything feels spaced out properly. It’s the perfect mix of modern with traditional styles. The beef pho is great too! Highly recommend, definitely a lot better than Dua’s which is further down the street. Plenty of noodle and meat for one bowl! Plus they got a student discount, so GSU students can have a full meal for less. The staff are super attentive too, and patient, really appreciate them. Overall I give this place a 10/10, would recommend and would come back!

Service was super friendly and inviting as I entered and asked about the vegan options. They do provide quite a few vegan options which I was really excited about; however, the food was bland and overpriced. I got the chili lemongrass tofu that was said to be spicy, but had little to no taste other than a slight hint to the lemon grass, which was extremely disappointing.

Today was my first time trying food from here. Didnt know what to get and I asked the young lady at the counter ( im so sorry I forgot your name)for a recommendation and she told me to try the P10 which was the pho combo. It's delicious. I love it love it. Would come again. Highly recommend. I wish I bought another bowl for later lol.

The lack of communication from the employees on when the order would be ready was beyond comprehensible I was constantly told "the order is coming" but no one would give me a definitive time frame. I finally walked back to the register to ask when my order would be ready and then one of the employees Goes upstairs and brings it down. It wasn't hot either. I am completely ok with never giving this place my patronage....EVER.

I wrote the below write up in a post on my LinkedIn, so I copied and pasted it below to serve as my Google review because it describes the wonderful experience we had at Pho King Express. "After we picked up our daughter from #morehouse yesterday, we were looking to eat savory food and we were torn between eating Indian or Vietnamese in downtown #atlanta. I opened the door to Pho King Express and was trying to convince Hubby and Daughter to come in. They were still undecided. The owner came to the door, greeted us and persuaded us to come in and eat. She encouraged us to sit and enjoy the food instead of getting a take away. She said "The food tastes better if you eat it here". We sat. We drank delicious Vietnamese iced coffees and boba tea.We ate our savory, delicious meal. When we were leaving I thanked the owner for coming to the door to personally invite us to come in. She said "Thank you. It's just that I know that we have good food here." I love that she knows how her business provides value to her customers. And I love that she knows how to make her customers feel valued."

I ordered on a Friday at 3:56pm & received my order at 4:38pm (I was staying 10 mins away) My order consisted of the "Pho Ga w/ Beef Broth" (+Tendon which was an additional cost) it was really good & I like that since delivered I was able to build my own as well as add anything I thought it may have been missing. I didn't get enough plum sauce, so it tasted a touch flat, but it was still tasty. The green tea boba I ordered was delicious, however it lacked the boba I requested. Instead of pork egg rolls, I got veggie. Even though they were not my preferred order, it was satisfactory. I additionally ordered a side order of fried rice that was a little bland but nothing a little seasoning and a boiled egg couldn't cure. A side of grilled pork that, when combined with the fried rice and egg rolls (3 count), was as filling as a full dinner.

Visiting from Nashville TN...the pho was okay I have had better but I was more concerned about the kitchen because when I walked to go to the bathroom it looked filthy and I was hesitant to eat the food. I just didn't feel right eating it. It looked like a dirty place.

Wanted to like it but pho broth was mediocre at best. I also got the pork chop dish which was overcooked and dry. I couldn’t eat it. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Pretty average Vietnamese food. Not a great example of what the food can be. All food is served in disposable plastic bowls / plates, pretty wasteful in this day and age. Seems to fit the office worker lunch crowd. Would not go back.

This place is very atmospheric but the food is not impressive. I tried their cơm tấm thịt nướng (broken rice with meat) and phở. The veggies part are okay but the rice, meat and dressing are not very flavorful. Had to add a lot of dressing on my rice. Similarly, the phở could do better. Their broth is definitely not the worst and the noodles with meat and well cooked, just not what I expected a phở would taste like. On the other hand, their green milktea is very delicious and sweet. They also offer a discount for GSU students. Would come back to try their other dishes but with low expectations.

The broth here to me is very good. However, the last two times I went, there was a strange stringy thick hair like string in my broth. Two times. Definitely messed up my appetite and I just stopped going for awhile.

I ordered online and what I got did not match the picture. I had also asked for no peanuts, but it still had peanuts in it. I had already left and then I realized my order was missing the whole grilled pork. I went back and the lady was nice about adding the meat back in, so I was glad about that. However, when I opened it back up they literally took one of the spring rolls back too, which is kinda like LOL dang. The taste was not worth the money or trouble of me to go back to correct my order. The meat was hard and lacked flavor. Most of the flavor came from the fish sauce. It was worth a try, but Duluth and Doraville area definitely have better tasting rice vermicelli plates. I can't speak towards the pho and their Thai tea was good. However, what I got was not worth my money or the calories.

I really like this place. The decoration creates a nice environment. And I love the fact there is an ingredients bar, I can put my preference of pho toppings without feeling like a pain. I also like that they have avocado smoothies, with I love!

Heard lots of good reviews from my friend and I’m truly glad that my expectations were full fill. Love the Thai Bubble Tea and the Pho. Excellent customer service, very clean and nice environment. You forget about the noise city! Keep it that way! is to close to the public parking

Friendly Experience. Their Banh Mi is a must try. Best for students trying to save money on food (around $7-$8), and they offer GSU student discounts!
