What a great playground for toddlers on up, the neighborhood is amazing and quiet. This playground is just part of a very large recreational area and extremely impressive. People are kind and so many kids get to play together l. I’d recommend watching the levels of how busy it is, at peak times it can be very hard to find close parking.

Wow! So beautiful and so much fun!!! I think they’re still adding to it, it seems as though there’s some construction going on slightly. However, the park is beautiful and full of fun activities for this kids. They have musical instruments, a slide that’s not your typical slide, they also have regular slides available, and some odd avocado looking swings 😂. I loved every second. My niece and nephew also had the time of their lives too.

Nice park but sad that we came for tree house and it was burned down. Hope they can restore it soon. Beautiful area, clean, green and hilly. Best for kids ages 1-7years.

Great park with great views of the city. Kids loved the rolling slides and tree house the most. Parking is limited so try to go during the not normally busy times. Saturday and Sunday at this place is a mess to find parking I'm sure.

Little park loaded with fun play equipment for kids of all ages. Car Parking area was full and found hard to find a parking spot. Restrooms were on location and were maintained clean. There was open ground by the play area, which is good for picnic or play ball 🏈 ⚽️

This was a great park! We are on a road trip and it was a perfect place to play and stretch our legs. The kids loved all the different areas and things to do. Definitely will stop here again if we come through this area

Chastain Park is a remarkable destination in Atlanta for those who enjoy walking, playing sports. One of the park's most notable features is its extensive walking track, which provides ample space for visitors to stroll, jog, or run. Whether you're looking to get in some exercise, clear your mind, or simply enjoy the fresh air, the track is a fantastic option. It is well-maintained and scenic, offering a beautiful view of the surrounding greenery. Another highlight of Chastain Park is its massive golf course, which is one of the largest in the Atlanta area. The course is well-maintained. In addition to the walking track and golf course, Chastain Park also boasts a wide variety of other sports facilities. Visitors can enjoy playing basketball, tennis, on one of the many fields and courts located throughout the park. Overall, Chastain Park is a fantastic destination for anyone looking to get in some exercise, play sports, or simply relax Chastain Park is a must-visit destination.

The park was a great size. very open concept with an area for tounger kids with smaller slides and a 2 tiny house play areas. lots of plaxes for parents or caregivers to sit. The swings were very modern and large, plus the giant jungle gym was popular with my daughter and niece. This park even had a metal slide that was very unique indeed, that inhavent seen in cobb county. This park is also right across the street from the newly developed softball field. Great gem for kids and parents. Only issue is there is no clear path to leave, no walkway or gravel🤔. you just walk on the grass. to the street.

This park is really nice. A lot of things you see in the older pictures posted are no longer at this park, I was pretty bummed about that. Trail for walking/jogging plenty for kids to do. The only con is they don't have big kids swing set and only 2 seats of the baby swing, not enough in my opinion for the size of this place. Bathrooms are decent plenty of free parking. I have 5 kids ages 3 to 16 and I feel like children ages 7 and under would benefit and enjoy this park the most. YouTube- Momochronicles IG- XmomochroniclesX Facebook- Momochronicles

This playground is niiiiiice. My kids had a blast here. I even enjoyed it a little bit. Playgrounds were not this sensory and interactive when I was growing up. They even had decently clean restrooms. Do go here and take your kids with you so it’s not weird.

My son adores this park. The area is amazing as well. Horse stables not to far. Recommend they add a splash pad.

Great playground with a lot of good equipment for all ages! Centrally located near a lot of sporting fields. Seems like the spot for Atlanta nanny's to take the kids. Bathrooms could use better upkeep. Overall a good playground!

Very large playground in a nice area, very close to other kids sports fields. Large variety of play equipment. Fun for toddlers and up. Very unique play structures as well.

Came here after dinner with my husband and toddler. Park was great! The playground has areas for all ages including for my toddler. Plenty of playground space and even had interactive instruments you can play with. Plenty of space to sit as well as picnic. Will be back again!

Chastain park has a huge playground with a lot of unique and fun attractions (I seriously love the roller slides!). There is something for kids of all ages and the play area is surrounded by picnic shelters. It can get very crowded on a pretty day, but overall it's a super pleasant place to spend the afternoon. I do have two gripes (I mainly include these in case the parks and recreation department reads these reviews): 1) Most of the park is in full sun for the majority of the day, which isn't ideal....especially for younger children. 2) One of the older portions of the playground has some rotting wood that is a trip/splinter hazard. These boards could easily and cheaply be replaced if someone took the time to do it.

This is one of my favorite playgrounds in the mentor Atlanta area. There are several different zones in the park with different play structures and slides and swings. Each area has a different theme or purpose. And there is an area for every age group.

Nice park. Great play areas for kids of all ages. Plenty of seating for tired adults. Well shaded. Clean bathrooms. I knocked off a star because parking is difficult on busy days. We went on a Sunday early afternoon.

The Chastain Park playground is tucked in a shady corner of the park grounds off Dudley Ln. It has a wide variety of play stations and things to do. There are restrooms located here as well as open shaded lawn areas to roam and play that surround the mulched playset equipment area.

This park has always been a family favorite but even moreso with the renovations. It's a park that keeps everyone entertained with its varied activities. It also has shady areas to sit and watch the kids play. Frankly, I like it as much as my children do.

Great park, so many things to do with kids. Public restrooms, kid friendly slides and musical instruments.

The biggest and best playground I've come across in Atlanta. They have bathrooms, picnic tables to rest or have lunch with your kiddos, a large grassy area and a lot of fun games for kids. They also have a smaller kid's play area, for like 1-2 yr olds.

Amazing place that my kiddos love. Always meet cool parents to converse with while our precious packages have fun!!!

Super impressive playground. Something for all ages and abilities. Expect to use patience finding parking, but it's worth it.

  • 4/5 Mel W. 2 years ago on Google
It has roller slides, multiple xylophones, play structures with slides (one for bigger kids and one for toddlers), swings (both for toddlers and older children), and a Bocca field!

Very nice, well kept park. Large. Two sections. One for younger kids (<5yo) and one for older kids. My kids played here for an hour and a half before it got hot and more people showed up. If you get here before 9 it’s pretty easy to social distance. Most people that did show up were not wearing masks. Oh and the rolling slides bruised my bottom so parents, be warned! 😂

I really love this park. The kids has so much to play with. It’s very clean and friendly environment. I took my kids there from 11am to 4pm and they still had not finished exploring. Keep an eye out for your kids cuz they can easily get lost. It’s really a nice place.

Truly the best park in Atlanta for families, it's beautiful, great facilities, the grounds are picturest. There's a great golf course, playground and paved walking trails all around the park, one lap around is about 3.6 miles give or take. They have picnic tables all around, baseball fields, tennis courts, handball and racquetball court, they even have a small tennis court for the kids !

Best playground in the the area. There are lots of climbing toys and swings, and some of them have shade. During the summer it is a little harder to play here due to high temperatures, but overall it is great. There are bathrooms around and picnic tables. I definitely recommend coming with the little ones.

It's a lovely, well-maintained playground with fun equipment for all ages of young children. Limited parking with difficult access to the playground. Good restroom facilities. Lots of picnic tables and adequate seating around.
