A hidden gem in the city, this privately-owned, but publicly-open garden safeguards some of Atlanta’s oldest trees. Recently, the garden club worked with Tilting Windmill Landscape Design to clear out the non-native invasive species that were beginning to overrun the undergrowth. The garden now feels much more natural, open and inviting. Take your kids, dogs and a picnic, though remember to stay on the trails, as there can be copper heads in the more naturalized areas.

The perfect ruminating mosey, or a tadpole creek if you have any young ones. This is a beautiful little spot to wander around if you need about a half hour of fresh air.

Cute little park between two streets. Nice trails although at some parts the trails are a little grown into by bushes.

It's a cute little park if you'd like a quiet place to read. There's no visible parking areas except for roadside or street parking. There are some overgrown bushes and fallen trees but, there are a couple of open areas with a gazebo and benches provided. A small trail is found in the center. Only takes a few minutes to complete it.

Great park on Emory Campus where you can feel like you're escaping the city without leaving the perimeter. Lots of paths to walk or run. There's an old mill, lake, river, bridge, and open grass to explore. Nice place to read a book or take a stroll.

Incredibly lovely place. Be mindful of copperhead snakes. Smells like weed at times.

Wonderful little natural park with a creek tucked away in the Druid Hills Neighborhood. Great for a restful stop on a walk through the historic neighborhood, and might see some interesting birds during migration season.

Gorgeous and serene. My buddy and I watched a couple storks fly over the lake for about an hour. ❀

Small park with short trails around Peavine Creek. Quiet and peaceful. Benches in park make it a nice place to sit and read. No parking lot. Park on road.
