Update: Admission is now $20 Fridays. Last Friday even the cheapest drinks like Hennessy was $12, SMH. Over priced drinks and admission means I’ll now drink before I go if I go. Do to the raised prices for the little cramped space I’ll probably be going a lot less. I’ve gone several times and on more than one occasion I was served by a bartender that appear less than happy to be there working. In particular the bar closest to the bathroom. Last night the bartender wasn’t friendly, but stoic, uninviting, and seemed visibly agitated when I asked for a specific drink! Maybe he didn’t understand what I was asking. However, I was actually going to give him a $5 tip until I saw his personality or lack there of. I don’t understand why people that are working in customer service have an issue with providing service without the attitude. Management needs to get rid of the bartenders that aren’t friendly and keep the ones that are. I refuse to tip any bartenders that aren’t friendly or have personality issues. Lastly, I noticed that different bartenders give you different prices for the same exact drink. Sometimes a difference of two or three dollars. What is up with that?

Bartender Ron was having his birthday and Toys for Tots fundraiser. The show performers were great. They raised over $800.00. There were lots, and I mean lots of toys were donated. Hats off to Bartender Ron and Mixx.

Cool crowd. But they were charging $15 with NO REENTRY. I stepped out to my car and they refused to let me back in. Security staff is rude as hell. Drinks overpriced. Hint to the owners: when the line to the Eagle ($5 entry and a stamp) is extending past your doors and your club is largely empty, maybe rethink things. If you let people reenter, they'll spend more money at your bar. Duh.

The security is HIGHLY unprofessional. He was ride as soon as i walked to the door. When i came out to grab some things from my car, he stopped my and said they were not letting anyone else I for the night. It was midnight. I'm so sick of ratchet, hood establishments like this. It cost nothing to be respectful. This place obviously hired one of his cousins that can't get a real job.

Favorite gay black club in ATL. Also BLACK & GAY OWNED. Best mix of music from old school hip-hop and r&b, house dancehall with some afrobeats mixed in. I wish they would play more afrobeats and amapiano though. Great drinks too.

I've worked this nice LBGTQ spot since it became Mixx Atkanta. Before that it was Club Colors. It's quite a nice multicolor establishment with great drinks and food.

Went on a Tuesday for karaoke night and had a blast! The drinks were great! The service was great. The vibe was chill n relaxed. The people were all friendly and laid back. This was an amazing vibe.

Quite the atmosphere... My favorite night to attend is Thursday Nights for ATL Open Mic Night. Live Singers, Poets, Musicians, Song writers, and Spoken Word Artist perform to a live band! I love the soultry vibe!

This place is rather small, which at first is a turnoff, but the fact it's smoke free more than makes up for that. The drinks are poured into small plastic dixie cups. The DJ does a good job playing to whatever crowd happens to be in the bar but there certain is a lot of folks that stand around staring. Worth a visit, it's on par with other gay bars in the area. (Which unfortunately isn't saying much for Atlanta hodrum gay scene.)

I really enjoyed mixx until this past Sunday. A gun was pulled on me infront of the bar by a guy that said he was the owners good son. After the police was called the guy refused to come outside and answer to what he did. I use to love this bar but after that experience I don't thank I will be coming back anytime soon. Safety 1st in my book and I didn't feel safe. But if nothing more the bartender Adrian is thr best 👌🏾but I can't say I recommend this bar anymore to anyone for Safety purposes.

Great experience. Had my lesbian social club happy hour here tonight and the bartender was very good to us. The drinks were amazing! The Mature Atlanta Lesbians Social Club will be back!

I'm 27 and although Im a bar-hopper in the gay scene of atlanta, i never been to a nightclub so i decided to try out Mixx on friday. The atmosphere is very welcoming, Drako is super sweet and seeing the drag performers do their thing was amazing lol. I'm introvert at heart so as nervous as i was, I'm exploring myself out of my comfort zone

The venue is nice , but some of the employees are very devious. Some employees there have motives . Can’t even dance on the dance floor . The security will harass you if you trying to have fun . That’s very unprofessional,I’ve been a “ Paying customer” for a couple of years and I’m very disappointed. Never would I though the employees would be that negative . I like positive vibes not negative . If you don’t wanna experience what I experienced, don’t come here .

I love this place!! I'm not a picky guy so some times I want a dark man other times I want a white guy like myself.. this place is so diverse it makes me feel at home hanging out with my guys. I love the Fuzzy Navels.. makes me frisky.

The Mixx is a lively dance club that offers the latest house grooves,r&b, and rap music. The group is mature and a safe environment. Cedric the DJ also performs his venue here on selected dates. Come prepared to dance and meet others as the night unfolds and the rhythm makes your body move.

The club had a great crowd. And the service was excellent.

Came from Chicago and had a few drinks here. Bar tender and other patrons were very nice and helpful. It was fun. Drinks were strong AND you can smoke indoors. We'll go back next time we head out to Atlanta.

I had a bad experience Nov. 7, 2020. while in a line that was moving at a glacier pace of checking I.D.'s and what was supposed to be a text for free entry before a certain time, only if you're on their contact list to receive texts and alerts. Once I got in line it appeared that they was letting one person in then wait 3 minutes before letting in another person. We was wondering and voicing our concerns of why the long wait? Then after the line increased in number the security hollered out of a VIP line, to allow people to come from the back of the line to skip the others for $10.00. And if your text is not forwarded after waiting in the line for 45 Minutes you have to pay $10.00. I try to support businesses of this sort and promoters as well but yall have business practices of being sneaky , shady and underhanded.

I go often! The door cover is ALWAYS unpredictable. The atmosphere is very nice! The very handsome manager is good at making sure that the greedy promoters are fair, but can’t catch them all of the time.
