The park is beautiful. Well kept, and equipped with everything that you will need. Benches for sitting. Restrooms that were fully stocked with toilet paper, hand soap, and fans. There’s a lot of diversity as far as the people are concerned. Everyone was friendly, and I saw some of the cutest dogs.

The park is small, but it feels decent. I can see many people come out to play lightly for running or family outings, and I think it's a good place for a little healing in everyday life. Next time, I will visit here again. I need to feel the feeling

East Cobb Park is a great place for kids and pets. There are walking trails and 2 playgrounds. One of my favorite parks in Marietta/ East Cobb. You can also rent the pavilions for parties for only $10!

The park is beautiful and is large. We played soccer and took a hike on one of the nature trails. The park well maintained and very clean.

Changing my rating of this park from four to five stars today, for one specific extraordinary reason. Someone creating or contributing to this park had the amazing thought of putting out a piano under a gazebo for people to play. I've seen the piano before, my family and I have been coming here for years, but today someone really played it, and it was wonderful. All around the park was the soft din of someone expressing themselves in harmonious tones, and a reminder of how great it feels to be in proximity of other people enjoying themselves in the sun, in this great big public park that someone created for us to enjoy In this very moment. It might have been a lucky moment, but it was an intentional one. And that's how you get five stars.

Wonderful Park! Playground is well thought out and safe. Walking paths are well maintained and well illuminated at night. Creek is accessible and there is plenty of room for all to run and play!

4/11/2023 Updates... Added some pix I took today....Hope you enjoy them... A very nice place to walk, jog, stroll, and spend leisure time with family, friends, and pets. Very friendly people. There are always some activities. Has a small creek running thru this which adds beauty to the nice tree line and flower bushes it has. Lots of metal benches (donated by various good hearted people) to sit and relax throughout the park. Very dog friendly. Free parking. Free entrance. Clean rest rooms on premises. The park staff who keep it clean and functional deserve lots of appreciation. A MUST PLACE TO GO.

When I think of an actual park, not a hiking trail/trailhead, but a park to just exist outside for awhile, this is the closest I’ve found around the east Cobb / Roswell area. Sometimes ya want the healing aspect and slower pace and need peace - not necessarily exercise go go go like our society already demands. However there is a small nature trail and it’s lovely. This park fits the bill for chill time and leisurely meandering. Spacious. Perfect picnic energy. It has plenty of green open grass space, two large parking lots, multiple playgrounds, restrooms, grills, ample picnic tables - some with cover, broad gravel walking path that loops around the perimeter of the entire park with benches sprinkled every 40 ft or so. I’ve been searching for a spot like this for a minute, to read or write or journal or just sit with myself. I drive by it all the time and never just stopped to check it out, and i am grateful that I did. 4pm on a Tuesday and all I hear is the wind blowing through the fire orange leaves and the occasional sound of footsteps walking by as I sit on a bench by the path. I’ve seen it super busy on the weekends, rightfully so. However, I avoid large crowds and peak times anywhere, so 4pm on Tuesday is *chefs kiss* YUP. 10 outta 10 recommend. Pure peace here, what we could all use a little more of 💛♾️

Been going here since I was a kid. I love the spot over the bridge with the picnic tables. Playground for the kids. Big fields for sports. Nice path to bike or run. And trails to explore. Also a stage for performances (hopefully we get those back soon)

Growing up in the Marietta area, I grew up at East Cobb park. I have very fond memories playing on the very same playground that still exists today. However, I believe that the atmosphere has changed and the connection to nature I once felt as a child is now gone. If you're looking for a place close to work to go for a run, walk the dog, or play on the swings, this will be fine. If you are seeking a natural escape from reality, seek other nearby parks. (Chattahoochee nature center, Soap Creek, or Laurel Park)

It is very nice park for kids to play and adults to do walking. Here we have 2 playgrounds for kids. Playgrounds are very neat and clean. Nice greenish park with tall trees. This park has shelters and we can do barbecue here.

I loved playing in the creek with my besties today. We also had a chance to hose down all the sand and gravel and played at the playground. This park will forever remain in my heart for all the loving and amazing memories I have laid there. I don’t live with my biological parents so it means a lot to me when I visit with my biological mom and I have been to this park so many times for that. Picnics are the most fun because there is such a big soft grass area to choose where to lay your blanket. It’s not far at all from QT if your hungry and I’m now awaiting more adventurous days in my life there, I hope you can love and share the park as much as I do. Thanks East Cobb Park❤️

Took my son here a couple times. Parking is plenty. I like that there are two separate playgrounds for the little ones. The dirt trail around the playground makes it a bit bumpy for the strollers but it could be worse. If you walk over to the bridge there is a little water area to play in during the warmer months. The park is dog friendly as well, and trees to hang your hammocks.

I can't believe that I am just now reviewing East Cobb Park! This is arguably the best park in East Cobb! It has everything that one could ask for in a park and more! There are two large separate playground areas for children to play and have fun with! Public restrooms and drinking fountains are available on grounds! There are walking, running and biking trails in abundance surrounding the main playground area! The several piers offer quite reading spots with bubbling brooks streaming by. The bandstand has a huge covered stage with plenty of grassy area for on looker to view concerts and more! There is a covered picnic area that can be used for any number of events, Birthday parties, family reunions etc... my family and I have used this park for years and years! And, have made so many wonderful memories though the years!

Park is great. Lots to do, plenty of nice people. While there I saw local musicians, cheerleaders practicing, moms and dads playing with their kids. Plenty of people having picnics. I went there to run my rc and I must say I had an absolute blast.

Great stress reliving place. There is a creek that runs in the park. Lot of trails to run and walk. The main circular black top running trail is .32 miles. There is a small trail that connects to Fullers park as well as Robinson Road. This is the best place in the whole east Cobb.

Beautiful park and beautifully maintained. Parks for kids, plenty of paths, and of course the creek passing through (though it is worryingly drying up).

  • 5/5 Ben H. 1 year ago on Google
Love walking my dogs here. We take a mile + loop. The walk includes some side walk, dirt path and mulch. The park includes two play grounds, bathrooms, and a decent amount of parking.

This park is great for bike riding, jogging, or just hanging out. There are a couple of playgrounds for the kids, several trails through the woods, and some kids enjoy playing in the creek. If you’re a fan of Pokémon Go, you’ll be here all day.

I recently had the opportunity to visit East Cobb Park and was blown away by its beauty and amenities. The park is well-maintained and has a wide variety of activities to enjoy, from hiking and biking trails to playgrounds and sports fields. The scenery is stunning, with mature trees and a peaceful atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the community garden, where locals were tending to their plots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Overall, I would highly recommend East Cobb Park to anyone looking for a great outdoor experience in a beautiful setting.

The park looks good and got better since we last visited maybe 10 years or so ago. The playground seems more interesting and got new sets. The restrooms were just painted over and the wet floor is a liability. Considering that East Cobb is a very high scale area, the park as a whole should look a lot better overall not only the façade visible from Roswell Road.

It's a very cute park that's just off of a main road. The entrance/exit can be a nightmare at times but the park has a creek, paths, piano, park, and a lot of space for people to stretch out. Definitely recommend going if you live in the area.

We really love the walking exercise we get when walking over the hill to the upper lot. It's great for people watchers as so many families are there doing many different things such as frisbee, walking dogs, young sports players getting in their exercise, parents pulling their kids in wagons, and lil kids riding their bikes. There is plenty of room for everyone. Also areas on the rolling hills to picnic as so many do.

This is always a nice little park to go to. I say little but it's actually a lot bigger than probably 80% of the parks around Cobb County. Situated along the bank of Sewell Creek, the park has walking trails that circle a playground and two recreational fields and continue deep into the wooded nature areas inside the park. There are benches and picnic tables in various parts of the park which can be reserved for events like birthday parties if one so desires. The playground has swings, slides, and many other equipment for children. Your kids aren't like to get bored of the playground quite so quickly here. If you want a place to take kids to entertain them or you just want a place to walk and give your cardiovascular a nice workout outdoors, I highly recommend this place.

Two playgrounds for kids, lots of parking, a little stream to cool off in and a couple of little trails. Plenty of open space, trees to attach hammocks to and benches all over.
