I went to Sahara to see whether there was any validity to the reviews I've seen online. I went in with the benefit of the doubt that it would be an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately it was not. The venue is rather small. Two rooms separated by an archway. I went on a Saturday night around midnight, paying the $10 cover charge at the door. The ambience is very urban. Rap music floods the venue from the small DJ booth in the corner by the bar. After waiting nearly five minutes at the bar, I paid for 2 Heineken's at $6 a piece, before walking around to find a seat. But there wasn't any. Packed with well over 50 people, seating was only enough to hold about 20 and was primarily for hookah users. The booths which lined the wall costs $350, which to be honest is about $275 too much. I left after only spending 20 minutes inside. For a club the size of my apartment, I'd rather stay at home, listen to Future on Pandora and crack open a 6-pack from the local package store. Just disgraceful. I will NOT be coming back.

Great atmosphere, but unsafe parking in back lot. My car window was busted out and I lost a lot of items from the break in.

Me and my friend went out for some drinks and hookahs along for a good time. Got there around 9pm, we were the only two. But around late 10pm, 11pm that's when people started coming in. We had an awesome time. Good hookah and drinks along with good music. And they only have wings for food and no outside food allowed. Also it is 21 and up.

Me and my crew went here on May 1st and had the worst experience with them. My fiance and I ordered 2 drinks and 1 beer and they charged us twice for that! One charge for $43 and another for $30. I'm not sure what happened, but that is definitely highway robbery! It also took them forever to bring our drinks, and when the drinks finally came, the server spilled the freaking drinks all over us!!! If I were you, I'd definitely go somewhere else. It was very boring in there anyway. Most of the people that were in there left out before 1am.

The place is run down the seats in each section have holes in them not to mention the floors have no carpet or nothing covering the wood floors. The servers are polite and the music is ok but if I have to rate this place I would have to say 2 simply because there was no decor and the limited selection of hookah.

Fun place to hang out and chill. They have chess boards, just if you want to play chess while doing sheesh. It's not a quiet spot, so don't expect a calm, soothing ambiance. It's primarily a young crowd, and they have comfortable seats to relax and hang out.

I didn't like this place at all. I'm from out of town and I came here expecting to have a good time. The workers told us it was places to seat and there wasn't and we didn't realize until after we paid our money. The owner had no clue when seats would be open and didn't want to give our money back after we wanted to leave. The place was small and has some weak ass music. Back home is better and I won't be returning here. P.s I finally got my money back when I pointed out to the owner that there was no signs saying you couldn't get a refund.

To be completely honest. I’ve been to this establishment two other times. It’s honestly went down hill. The couches and chairs are tore up. The service Is horrible. Don’t order the hookah. If you order food it’s going to take 10 hours to get anything. The drinks are trash as well.

Came to this place about a year ago, I think our servers name was Deanna she made our experience great. This time when I went they acted like she never worked there. It took us forever to sit down because seating is very limited, the people at the door are basically pressuring you to get a section. After about 30 minutes we were able to sit down and I ordered some wings that tasted like they were cooked in the microwave with some sauce thrown on them. My server had an attitude when I asked her what was up with the food. Hookah was decent. The music was the highlight of the night. The servers add on a 20% tip which is probably why they just walk around all night. Definitely won’t be getting my money again.

Overpriced hookah lounge. I did have a good time here. I didn’t like seating arrangement and there was a lack of coordination between the staff. We had to ask for the same thing several times and at one point I had to literally get up and get it myself. The only reason I gave it a 3 was because it was an enjoyable night.

Music is awesome, not enough seating and it's a club that serves hookah, not a hookah lounge like we were looking for. For young people definitely not a 30 plus crowd. Also they allowed several people to smoke weed inside the building.

If you are into hookahs then this is a nice spot to hit up they have a lounge feel with a live dj playing all across the board with TV's on the wall playing sports etc. A full bar with reasonable prices as well as a food menu from sister restaurant Lillies down stairs with really good food

Not what I expected. It's a "hole in the wall" type of place for entertainment. The place was dingy and I have seen better furniture underneath the freeways. The music was semi-ok. This is my 1st and last time here.

I kinda like the lil joint...First time I ever went here was with one of my homegirls and the vibe was nice that night and decent crowd (may or june 2016)...I went back since then 3 or 4 times. Sad part is it seems to be going downhill...it sucks because on each occasion that I've been back I hyped the place up to my peoples, we get there and they are looking at me like "uhhh nah". Especially everytime the guy at the door says $10 to enter. Smh I definitely agree with other reveiws on the fact that the parking and price to get in is whack. It should probably be free to enter and $5 to park! Im having a birthday party in the city next saturday and want a spot to hit afterwards but this may not be it, I don't wanna be embarrassed in front of all my people on my birthday...DOES ANYONE READING THIS HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS OF PLACES TO GO IN THAT AREA??

Drinks were good.. waitress was delightful.. but the whole experience felt more like a Southside club than a lounge. Might try a different night

This experience starts around 9 on a Wednesday so take is as you will. A bit expensive for what you get but pretty good. Pros: -Decent music selection -Shisha is pretty fresh -Drinks are really stiff Cons: -Music is really loud -No second check on flavor choice (loud music is to blame I think. More to follow) -drinks are smaller than water cups from McDonalds -empty AF So I arrived and knowing what I like I asked for mint chocolate from fakher with an ice base. They where out of chocolate and asked what I wanted instead (still good so far) so I say "ok, I'll have pirates cave then" (pirates cave is a great starbuzz flavor if you havent tried it) they bring out a mini hookah that is MINT with a sprinkling of fruity.. I understand the confusion which is why I'm still giving a 4 start rating but who TF mixes mint with a pre-mixed fruity?? Especially a 50/50 mix? I'm used to places giving quizzical looks and asking if you are sure when you do unsavory mixes, that could have potentially me from having to order a second hookah so as to not have another unsavory mix of flavors. As far as occupancy goes, from 10:20 (when I arrived) to 11 (when I closed out the first time) I was the only customer. But 11 seems to be the magic hour and now there are 10+ consumers. For any one that read all of that, a price expectation: 1 hookah +ice base ($5) 5 cocktails (vodka red bulls) ~$75 In conclusion: Check it out. It's the best hookah lounge I found in Atlanta, mostly because of its relaxed environment and strong

This place is a hole in the wall, in the most literal sense. The interior is poorly kept with holes in most of the seating. The service is horrible, the servers walk past time and time again because they add a 20% service charge regardless, so they feel there is no need to work for their tip. The drinks are watered down and expensive. There is one stall for women, and the security guard banged on the door yelling to have me come out after about 45 seconds because there was a line. How about add more stalls instead of timing. I will never give them another $10 entry fee or go back. Don't waste your time!
