I’m writing this review strictly to recognize the young boy and girl who work at this restaurant. They both had amazing customer service!! They both walked my boyfriend and I through the entire menu and had great manners and were extremely patient. I hope the manager recognizes that employees like them are what makes customers return. The food was really good as well but I was mostly impressed by the service provided.

We had a party of 3 for dinner at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, 12/27/22. You order at the counter and go through the assembly line, pay, and then choose a table to eat. Plenty of parking! Very casual inside. The food was super tasty and fresh. I got Half Kofta Beef Meatball and Half Falafel Platter ($13.50), which comes with rice, salad, and hummus. You can pick up to 2 hummuses/spreads, and pay a little extra if you want more. You can pick unlimited fresh toppings, like chickpeas, jalapeños, cucumber, tomato, pickled onion, corn, feta, pita chips, etc. Then you pick your sauces. I got the Peach BBQ and Roasted Garlic Sauce. Both were delicious. The ingredients were so fresh and the sauces really brought it all together. I loved the kofta beef meatballs and the falafels! I was so glad I could do half and half! I also tried my husband’s Sahara chicken and it was good too! We got a side of grape leaves ($6). They were good, but not worth it and we wouldn’t get those again. We also got baklava. It wasn’t as sweet or as drenched in honey as I would’ve liked. I also wouldn’t get this again. The platters were where it’s at! OMG, so good. I will 100% be back and will recommend this Mediterranean restaurant to everyone! Deeeelish!

This place is amazing. The food is fresh and taste delicious! I loved the meatballs and the spicy chicken. The baklava was great as well. I will definitely be back!! Also, Ysira was friendly and helped me with the menu. She made great recommendations.

What a great place to eat! We ordered the falafel bowls. (unfortunately the meats are not Halal, apart from lamb which an occasional menu item). The owners passion comes through in the quality of the food they serve, most of the ingredients are prepared onsite and you can taste the difference. The service is amongst the best we have seen anywhere, which was kind, courteous and professional from start to finish. Please start serving halal meats so we can return here more often.

I don’t do reviews but I do like to help small businesses. First let me say the owner was very personable and you can tell he is passionate about his food. So the service was A++. I am not a big fan of Greek cuisine because tzatziki sauce is not my favorite, but they had some wonderful other options that made this dish so flavorful. I had a spicy chicken bowl with spinach and rice. Added in the Moroccan slaw with some feta, banana peppers and olives. The Moroccan slaw is killer. It’s sounds simple but there is a ton of flavor. 5 stars for sure and will be going back weekly.

I got a lamb wrap... it was great! I happened to be in the area and hungry. Mr. Oasis was extremely kind and friendly and the young boy working the veggies was excellent also. I don't live close enough to return but great job!

The food was really good and there were several options for vegetarians. I had the falafel. The selection of sauces is really good and stood out in particular. Service was really great too!

The owner Ussain (not sure of the spelling I apologize!) was so friendly and really passionate about the food he makes! He took us through all the options and let us try the meat before deciding what we wanted. I got the chicken and falafel in a large bowl and both were delicious. My husband got the chicken and gyro meat (ask him about how they make it, it’s unique and tasty)! All the dip options are yummy and I especially loved the baba ganoush and whipped feta. Loved the unique toppings they had like mushrooms & coleslaw. He also was happy to let us try sauces before we put any in our bowl! Will definitely be back again & recommend to friends ☺️

Still my #1 spot for a gyro in Atlanta. I don’t care, argue with someone else. Their red Shara sauce is 😊 good (if you like spicy) veggies always fresh. Go to is gyro pita with whipped feta and spicy hummus. Thank me later

This was one of the best experiences eating out that I’ve had in a very long time. The owner is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and makes you feel like family. The food is top-notch and very fresh. I highly highly recommend Sahara Cafe!

Stopped by for a Salad. Warm, Cleanly, Welcoming Environment. The staff was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. We could tell the owner is passionate about Customer Experience. Lots of flavorful toppings and ingredients to choose from. A few tables inside as well as outside on sidewalk. We give this place an A+ rating and plan to stop in again!

Had to take our cat to the vet clinic next to this cafe in the plaza and stopped inside to get lunch while we waited for the doc to do the exam. We were already anxious and stressed, but the owner was so friendly and immediately welcomed us and struck up a pleasant conversation. The atmosphere was very pleasant and cozy, the staff were extremely nice and helpful, and the food was fantastic. Haven’t had a pita that good since the street food I loved while stationed in Germany. Can’t say enough nice things about this place, we will certainly visit again.

I enjoyed this place a lot. The ambience was awesome and the staff was really friendly. The food was also out of this world. Really recommend going to this cafe with your friends.

You need to try this place. I don't know what else to say besides you need to try the delicious food that this place offers. I decided to try this place after a power outage over on that side of town. I felt bad for arriving right after the power came back on; but, I was really craving Mediterranean food. I don't remember his name, maybe the owner/ manager, but his customer service was top tier! I told him it was my first time and he explained everything to me. At the time, he was the only one in the restaurant getting the food prepared. I really appreciate him taking the time to cook food, inform me about the ordering process, and just providing great customer service overall. While I waited 2 other ladies that worked there came in and provided assistance. Both of them were fantastic and so kind. The first girl who helped me even asked if I wanted to sample the meatball kofta, since it was my first time. I declined; because, I knew I was going to get it. The aroma in there smelled magnificent. Due to my wait, I even got a baklava and tried the rose tea on house - amazing! This will be a staple for me when I am on this side of town. When you're hungry - go here and you will not be disappointed. Great atmosphere, beautiful people and delicious food.

10 Stars Sahara Cafe is the best Mediterranean food I have had in a long time. All of the ingredients are incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. There are multiple bread, bowl, protein, toppings and sauce selections, But don't worry, the staff including the GM are incredibly friendly, helpful and informative and will describe in detail every ingredient as they build you the perfect meal. The restaurant was small but clean, had lots of personality and is conveniently located behind the Chick-fil-A near the Publix. The baklava was fantastic, and they have several interesting foreign drink choices as well. I recommend trying your first time in the 2 to 3:00 p.m. hour when it is less busy so that you can get the full rundown of all the ingredients. Very quick in and out, I highly recommend.

Awesome food.. 1st time, I let another customer recommend what to get. Did not disappoint. I HIGHLY recommend this place, Big Joe will do you right. I also met the one of the owners, she was very welcoming and appreciative. Oh and whatever this drink is, you will absolutely want more..

Go here over over Cava. LOVE this place! Food is amazing and so fresh. The service and employees are SO friendly and share how the food is made to help you create the best meal. 11/10 recommend.

I recently visited Sahara Cafe for the first time and was immediately hooked. Imagine a chipotle-style build your own bowl/wrap, but with a Mediterranean and Middle Eastern fusion flair. The food is extremely fresh and flavorful, and you can taste the quality. The food area is kept immaculately clean and covered, and the prices are amazing for the amount of food you get-a million times better than places like Chipotle, and it tastes better too. But what’s best about Sahara Cafe is the owner-he is one of the nicest and most energetic people you’ll meet. It is clear he is extremely passionate about his food, and he welcomes you in warmly as if you are an old friend. He has many great stories so don’t be afraid to dine in and spend some time talking. 10/10!
