Listen people! I am a pizza fanatic! I ❤️ Pizza. It’s one of my favorite foods, so I have eaten a lot in my lifetime! Filinis has been my go to for years but baby!!!!! I will never go anywhere else. This pizza tastes like I am sitting in a pizza shop in a little village in Italy where Luigi, the shop owner hand made it personally and calls me Bella every time he refills my wine glass. Delicious!

Nice location. We must have visited this place at a bad time. The food came out warm. The soft drink (see picture) was expired and my friend and I had to request new drinks because it was flat. The owner or manager made the rounds and asked how everything tasted which is a plus but when we explained how we made the trip downtown from the suburbs based on the reviews and further explained that the food came out warm and the expired soda, he responded that we should have mentioned it earlier as he can't do anything now that we have started eating the food. Really? You can't? I beg to differ. You don't know how to take care of patrons and are simply clueless about customer care when your restaurant is serving expired products. Anyway, too many good places to eat outside the perimeter to revisit this place. Good luck everyone.

What an amazing experience today at Varasano’s! We went to celebrate my Mister’s birthday and everything went perfectly. Reservations were easily made via OpenTable for a party of 12. I was pleasantly surprised as large parties usually require you to call. We were greeted by our server Michael and honestly can’t remember having a better server in a long, long time. He was so helpful, very attentive and just simply the most pleasant person. And seriously the food exceeded expectations. Did I mention they have brunch?!? Pizza and brunch are Josh’s two favorite food groups. We started with lots of meatballs and garlic bites and bottomless mimosas. Thanks to our DIL for snapping pics because the rest of us dove right in! We had a small house salad and Caesar salad as well which were fresh and flavorful. Our daughter is GF so she went with a shrimp GF pasta dish which was light and tasty. The rest of us went with a variety of pizzas. The traditional is a 14” with 6 pieces. The crust is thin and freshly made on site. It couldn’t have been a better experience. They even delivered a plate of Italian doughnuts to the birthday boy which are simply not to be missed - so light, fluffy and sweet. Michael even snapped a small photo album of the most perfect pictures to capture the moment for us. 10/10 recommend ❤️ 🍕

I'll get right to it: This is the best pizza I've ever had in my life. My wife feels the same way. I lived in New York City for 53 years, and have been eating good pizza there since I grew teeth. Last month we were back in NYC for a week, and all we ate for lunch and dinner was pizza from our favorite places. We've had pizza in various parts of Italy. I make my own pizza at home, and I've been sweating those details for years now. So, it would be accurate to say that my wife and I have a fair amount of experience. This pizza is, quite literally, world class. As in, among the best you can get on this planet. That's not an exaggeration, it's a fact. Jeff is, quite simply, a master. His command of the techniques is astounding. His commitment to excellence is inspiring. Apparently, there isn't any detail that's too small to escape his attention. Everything is important. Everything. You know that tag line from the Lexus commercials, the relentless pursuit of perfection? Well, that is what's going on in Jeff's kitchen. That focus, that obsession, is just staggering. It's what separates the merely good from the truly great, whatever the pursuit happens to be. Clearly I'm talking about far more than just really good food. Jeff combines art and science and passion into a truly extraordinary experience. My wife and I are still talking about this since we were there yesterday. As for the restaurant space, it's stylish and inviting. The amount of natural light is just beautiful. The people working there are terrific. Parking in the garage is ample and easy and free. If you can, sit at the bar, and watch Jeff and his artisans do their thing. It's that rare kind of experience that's simultaneously relaxing and exciting.

We did the “Taste of Heaven” experience with Jeff, which is such a fun time and great deal, to boot. Basically he will just make as many pizzas as you can eat, with each quarter of the pizza a different flavor combo, so you get to try all different types as you watch him assemble and discuss the pizzas and ingredients with a strong perfectionist of streak that is fun to watch. All this for basically the price of the pizzas themselves (we paid slightly more for a truffle pizza). One of the more unique food experiences in the city, and it doesn’t break the bank. Will definitely do it again!

We love this pizza! It's just the best flavor, best consistency, perfectly cooked, light to digest, crust is fantastic and the toppings are the best quality. We initially had the Brunch Pizza, that has a combo of ingredients that you would never think of putting together. And yet, it was perfection!! Then, recommended by the owner, we tried the Burnt Quattro, which has only toppings we never like...pepperoni, soppressata, pappadew peppers...we were preoccupied 😕 and unexpectedly, we loved every bite!! The flavors were so balanced, that I enjoyed even the pepperoni pizza! And I hate pepperoni!! Great pizza, nothing else to say!!

I've eaten at all the iconic coal and wood fired pizza places in NYC (including the Grimaldi's locations in Florida) and Washington DC. This pizza is easily as good or better than any of those. The oven uniquely simulates the coal/wood ovens that cook the pizzas in 1-2 minutes leaving a proper char on the bottom and around the edges. If you like more or less char then just let them know! The ingredients are almost all imported from Italy but the herbs are grown right on the premises. If the owner is there he might even have time to make you one of his special recipes not on the menu! It's worth the trip to detour through Atlanta if you are traveling anywhere nearby. Truly an AMAZING pizza experience.

My absolute favorite pizza place in the country. When I’m in the area it’s the first place I go. Great food, service and atmosphere!!! We loved it so much that we went back for brunch the next day….

Excellent place to get pizza. I got the Nana Pizza with sweet red peppers and the house specialty topping. Ask servers what they recommend and you'll have a great time! The tiramisu is the best here so far for me and my wife.

I'm only giving it 5 stars, because there isn't a 6-star rating. My pizza was heavenly, just the most delicious concoction with an incredible balance of flavors, on a thin crust that had just the perfect chew to it. Definitely treat your taste buds to a gourmet pizza. Prices are very reasonable, and a bargain for so much quality. The owner is as good as his food. Come hungry, leave happy. The dessert was the perfect touch to end on a sweet note. Make sure you stop in Buckhead to enjoy some real pizza, cooked to perfection. Your taste buds with thank you! The power of Bacon Dave compels you!

Varasano's Pizzeria is serving up traditional, sourdough thin-crust , pasta dishes, and small plates! This pizza was SO good! I was delighted to find out the herbs were grown in-house. We spent the day trying out a bunch of delicious recipes. Their Recipe page is the internet's most visited site for people around the world to learn how to make world-class pizza.

Went here for casual pizza night. By far the best pizza in Atlanta. Tried veggie one and lovely thin crust and flavors. Tiramisu melted in mouth. Absolutely authentic Italian. Will visit often for sure.

Found Varasano’s on google when searching for pizza, and after seeing all the reviews raving about how awesome the pizza is so my husband and I had to try them. Pizza was good, but was definitely not the best I have had in Atlanta. Also ordered a house salad with chicken, and it was ok. Chicken had no flavor or seasoning to it.

Wow! Two words: Fresh and authentic! We were graciously greeted by Melco, the Assistant Manager (who trained for pizza in Naples, Italy). Place was nice and friendly. If you sit near the back, you can actually watch the chef toss and spin each amazing pizza. We started with their amazing house salad. The olives, cheese, almonds were just perfect. The caprese salad was just what I was looking for... clean and fresh. I added shrimp and they were a fantastic addition. The garlic bites were fun and paired wonderfully with their marinara sauce. If you like spice, please try the shrimp arribiata with penny pasta. Yum! For me the highlight of it all was the Quatro Sampler pizza! C'mon all of the goodness of 4 different pizza's on one pie. Just outstanding! Real pepperoni Authentic Margherita Arugula Just delucious!!! Bartender Krystal suggested the @goldenmonkey Loved it! We wrapped it all up with the lightest and dreamest tiramisu that I've ever tasted. 5 Stars! Can't wait to return to Varasano's! #pinchofbutter

Delicious! We tried the Nana's traditional with pepperoni, the olive & caper, the bacon peppadew, and the vodka pasta. We devoured all of it so we only have a photo of the empty plate. Service was also excellent (thank you Natasha).

Varasano’s is the best pizza in Atlanta. We ordered the Nana’s with capicola and SO delicious! The garlic bites are great and the meatballs are very flavorful. The environment is super family friendly and our server, Jamal, was super friendly and made our experience that much better. We will be definitely going back on our next visit to Atlanta.

It almost felt like being back in Italy! I had my doubts about the pizza, but the dough here is nothing short of fantastic. We had two pizzas, the veggie and the margherita with pancetta, both of which were excellent. Michael was great, super friendly, and gave us great recommendations. We’ll definitely be back!

This place was tremendous! We had a pizza tasting done by Jeff and we were thoroughly impressed. I am a pizza guy who has sampled all around the state of Georgia and this place is absolutely the best. Varasano's is next level!

This was hands down the best pizza in the city, and the BEST veggie pizza I've ever had. Don't get me wrong, I'm a pizza connoisseur. I love pizza so much, I have a pizza tattoo. I'm also from Chicago so I know a thing or three about pizza.

I love this place. The pizza is amazing, thin crust and crispy, and is made with sourdough dough. The pastas are also very good, I personally like the farfelle with shrimp in a lemon cream sauce. The servers and bartenders are always friendly and make me feel comfortable, never a rushed experience. Some of the best pizza I've ever had, so much so that I will never go back to any of those chain pizza restaurants again. Great experience and the food comes out so fast! Recommend this place to people who love pizza and to those on the fence about pizza (this place will change your mind).

Very open and fun space to hang with friends, or chill at the bar. BEST PIZZA I’ve had in Atlanta. I’ve tried all the big hitters, as Atlanta has amazing pizza, but the service, ingredients, cooks, and oven, are all exceptional. Alexis was incredibly kind and helpful, as was the rest of the staff I had the pleasure of meeting. Incredible crisp on the crust, delicious sauce, and fantastic cheese. The dessert pizza is the stuff of legend. Perfect blend of sweet and savory. This place is an absolute blessing.

We love trying different pizza. Varasano’s is extraordinary! Jeff is a wizzard on at the pizza oven and at the cube. The restaurant was busy on Father’s Day evening and he still took time to make our pizzas and sit and talk with us. Great service! Great atmosphere! World class owner!

Fantastic pizza. Definitely take their advice and go sparse on the toppings, food it over, and chow down. Tastes amazing and the service was pretty good too! Very cozy place. Will definitely be back.

Amazing pizza and even better staff! Chef personally came out and made sure we knew about the fresh herbs growing on the patio to garnish our pizzas. Sad we just found this place and I’m moving this weekend, highly recommend!

Amazing experience! Each pizza had its own distinct and delicious taste. We had 2 pies but each pie had 4-5 different flavors so we were able to taste so many different types!! Chef and the rest of the staff were wonderful!! I even appreciated how Chef Varasano let us take pictures of the unbaked then finished product! Also appreciated how he would tell us the best way to enjoy each slice to get the most out of all the different flavors. I didn’t realize how many different flavors can come from pizza!! Definitely coming back again to go on another journey!! So worth it!!
