It was Love at first bite at Dock’s Oyster House. Let me start from the beginning you are offer free Valet parking yes FREE. Beautiful Live music as soon as you walk in the door. I recommend the Happy Hour which is only located at the bar if it’s your first time, second and third. Everything I tried was absolutely DELICIOUS! You must try everything on the Happy Hour menu its so Good and worth it. On to the desserts now hands down Docks Cheese pie is a Winner, so tasty, flavorful and smooth. The customer service was the best and fast. This place is a Must Try🤗

Excellent all around Seafood House!! Dock’s is top shelf when it comes to fresh seafood. I’ve only been 1 time but I’ll definitely be going back. Everything I ordered was amazing. Shrimp and grits appetizer, clam chowder, crab cakes & the potato crusted flounder were all prepared to perfection and out of this world. The ONLY Seafood house to eat at when your in A.C. (That is if you can get a reservation). Wait staff was super friendly & the prices were better than reasonable. Almost to good to be true. If I could give it 6 stars I would!!

I came here for the first time this 4th of July weekend. I must say the service and food here is absolutely outstanding. My server Daniella was friendly and very attentive. I ordered the corn and clam chowder and the salmon special and both orders came out fresh and delicious. The bartender can really whip up a nice cocktail as well. The restaurant itself is very elegant and clean. Based on everything, I could clearly see why this place has been in business since 1897! I will definitely visit again the next time I visit the Atlantic City area.

We came for happy hour before going for a full dinner. Oysters were fresh, great ambience. But, need to line up to get a seat. Very popular eatery in AC.

My first time here at end of January, 2022. I went during their happy hour, sat at the bar. Food was very tasty and I enjoyed all of the dishes that I had, started with the crab cakes (wish I had more) seasoned well, crab & corn chowder (could have been hotter) but delicious one of the best I've tasted. Then the main attraction that Lobster Mac and Cheese was excellent! Cheesy with lots of real Lobster, can't go wrong with that. It was the best way to try their dishes, can't wait to go back!

Very good raw bar. Oysters are per piece with a decent pricing. Meals are very filling, so not recommended to over do it on appetizers. The server recommendations were very good. My pictures show a small beet salad, but that is because they split it into 2 for us

Excellent Friday night dinner at the bar during restaurant week. Cute bartender was knowledgeable and quick. Freshest seafood…raw oysters, tuna, and flounder were so delicious. Key lime pie was excellent…not too sweet. Great piano entertainment to boot. Will be back for more.

From impeccable food to amazing service - all was worth a solid 5 star review!!! Our server Shannon was so knowledgeable and welcoming, that coming back to seeing her alone would be worth another trip! But the food was another WOW factor here! Everything was super fresh and the portions were enormous! Highly recommended even by Anthony Bourdain!

I'm glad we were in line 20min before they opened! As soon as the doors opened for happy hour, within 5 minutes the place was packed! Awesome deals for happy hour and tasty as well. Their drinks are pretty strong but delicious. Make sure to try their horseradish and of course their fresh oysters! Also try their 3 different chowders! The pianist was wonderful as was our servers. Go early if you want to visit this gem during happy hour!

Everything we ordered was delicious!!! We had oysters, calamari, mini crab cakes, lobster tail and I ordered the seafood risotto special, amazing! Our server Dan was awesome. My only complaint would be I was disappointed by the creme brulee, it was not made correctly.

Everyone said to go here and I saw all the great reviews, but when looking at the menu I had some concerns. It did not seem like a lot of selections and if you don't care for the raw oysters...but I read and read a lot of the reviews and started to see that many of them speak about the daily specials. So off we went. Upon entering I 2as greated with live piano bar music. The place was crowded on a Thursday so I was glad we had reservations. Our waiter was with us quickly. Ask for Toz! He was great. He began to give us the rundown of the specials and I wanted all of them. We started with a few oysters (when in Rome...) And the main chowder. It was silky smooth and loaded with stuff. We ended up with the halibut special and the clam bake special. The halibut was huge and in a wonderful sauce. The clam bake had clams, shrimp, mussels, half a lobster, scallops and an ear of corn all in a delicious red broth. Desserts...the chocolate mousse and banana cream pie...you can't go wrong.

Place was superb but super crowded on the weekends. Bar is 1st come 1st serve with no reservation requirements which means you'll have people breathing down your back waiting for you to get done therefore, I recommend making reservations. Food and drinks were excellent. Oysters were fresh and clean. Shrimps were definitely JUMBO. Drinks were also tasty. The soups are different but still very tasty. The creams were very thin/watery but were very hearty with the additions of vegetables and still worth ordering. This is definitely a top notch raw bar and my favorite one and the other food I've tried is also highly rated. MAKE RESERVATIONS!

The experience and the quality of the service and food was beyond what we and I’m sure most folks would expect from any restaurant. Our waitress was a pro by every stretch of the imagination. The only thing that topped the service was our food. We will build our next Atlantic City trip around going to Dock’s with the impetus of that trip being going to Dock’s.

We were there for a catered office party the upstairs of the restaurant. Everything was well done. The employees were friendly and the food was delicious. My husband and I look forward to coming back and eating downstairs in the restaurant and maybe having a few drinks at the bar.

After hearing about Dock's from so many locals and visitors over the years, and after seeing it featured on Anthony Bourdain's show, I finally got to experience the one and only Dock's Oyster House for the first time ever thanks to my husband. Not only was it my first time but it was extra special because it was an impromptu anniversary dinner for us. You walk in and it's like "WOW! So THIS is what the hype is about!" And then you continue to walk through the restaurant to your table and it's like "Oh my God! This is amazing! I can't believe I get to eat here!" The ambiance is... beyond the description of mere words. There's literally the hull of a boat as the entire second floor! Plus an actual lifeboat on the wall. The decor sings "you're in Atlantic City and don't you forget it!" Its absolutely beautiful. The staff is very on point. Our server was Taj and he was superb! The Sangria and Honey Bee cocktails were a great aperitif to our meal. My husband is not the biggest fan of squid but their Fried Calamari really won him over and that is saying something. The Beet Salad and the Whitefish Dip are also praiseworthy. The Branzino and Potato Crusted Flounder are out of this world! I don't even like quinoa but I didn't want to stop eating it. Finally the perfect end to the meal were the Cream Cheese Pie with sorbet and Banana Cream Pie. THANK YOU DOCK'S! As an AC local and Google reviewer, eating at your restaurant has always been a huge bucket list item, I just didn't expect to love it as much as we did!

We had the calamari and crab cakes as an appetizer . The calamari was so light and crunchy and the crab cakes were off the chain. The lobster Mac and cheese is good except it didnt fill me up so if you’re looking for a meal that fills you up, the lobster Mac and cheese won’t do you lol.I had the cream brûlée , it was great but I loved the apple crisp dessert more. The apples are also Granny Smith apples so they are a little tart. Eat the ice cream with the apple crispy in moderation if you’re not a fan of tart stuff. Also , if you want potato fries , get the regular … not the shoestring . We were misled by our waitress about that but out of everything . The food was amazing 10/10 and the service was wonderful. Coming back here every time I’m around AC.

Woe. Amazing food all the way around and the price... you can't beat. I would (and have) paid 2x+ more for what we got. High quality seafood and great cocktails. Can't wait to be back

Came here Saturday night for dinner—thank goodness we had reservations because the place was packed! Cute vibe inside. Since our table wasn’t ready because we came a bit early, we decided to grab drinks at the bar. The drinks were AWFUL!! Our mojitos tasted like straight up lime juice which was super sour—when I flagged down the bartender, he assured us that he used Bacardi rum—which we barely tasted. The Moscow Mule was also horrible—overloaded with ginger beer and tons of lime. All four of us disliked our cocktail drinks. At the table, we were still disappointed with our drinks. Luckily, the food here was quite delicious, which made it a bit more enjoyable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Bronzino and Grilled Octopus—both well flavored and so delicious!!! The Crabcakes, Salmon Special and Raw Oysters were good too!

My best friend and I had 4pm reservations for a Friday, got right in and seated. We had the seafood tower for 2 and some extra oysters, shared a meal and had cocktails. It was magnificent. I've been to Docks many times, always delicious food drinks and perfect service. It's worth a visit if you're in AC.

Went for my birthday on 9/11 and it was fantastic. Walter was our waiter, he made sure everything was perfect including making us laugh a few times. I had lobster tail w/ the fillet seafood medley appetizer and my wife had crab au gratin. Everything was delicious. The drinks were also made well. Chocolate chip mint pie for dessert was so good too. Can't wait to eat here again. Thanks again to Walter for making sure everything was top notch.

My absolute favorite place to go to Atlantic City is a top-notch restaurant. If you are looking for a romantic night out and delicious mouthwatering food, you must go to Docks Oyster House. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious, and the flavor profile was extraordinary. I will definitely be coming back. Make sure you run, not walk to Docks. I promise it's worth every dollar.

Came here for my birthday as a treat. The oysters were great and so was my entree. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you love oysters and want to try a variety! The old fashioned I had was in a top tier, but not the best, slightly heavy on the bitters.

Great experience and varied menu. I heavily recommend trying docks but know that this is not a place for small intimate conversation. Everyone will be enjoying a delicious meal with live entertainment (often times guest at the bar will be singing along)
